Oh, I remember Bosom Buddies. And I remember being happy when he crossed over to movies so successfully.
Now my 11 year old son loves him, first in Big and more recently in A League of Their Own. I want him to see Castaway and Splash but am not sure yet they’re appropriate, I can’t remember the details.
By the end of A League of Their Own it dawned on him that Hanks was the voice of Woody from the Toy Story movies and that was a thrill for him!

It’s not uncommon for a man’s facial hair to be a different color than the hair on top of his head. My brother is dark blond with auburn beard. My husband’s facial hair is actually various shades–mostly brown but a couple blond/red patches.
Think about it–how many people’s various body hair is different than their hair color? Do your eyebrows/leg hair/carpet/etc match your curtains?

It’s common in a lot of Scottish men, my dad and brothers are all brunette but have red tinges in their beards, it’s a viking trait. I think its called a dos beard but I could be wrong on that.

James McAvoy is the best actor of his generation, and a handsome man/incredibly nice person/good husband and dad. Really, if this is not perfection I don’t know what is.

Yep, yep, yep. Promised myself to only comment on threads of actors for whom I’d like to see get MORE work rather than less. McAlvoy is not only a “class-act” but he can actually “act”. Which, in this day of pathetic actors and cring-worthy performances is saying something. What is it about the English? Not every English actor is great or good — but its rare to find a really bad one. Maybe its because they still read BOOKs in UK schools. Or that their actors usually have stage chops. Whatever it is — they put almost all American actors to shame.
I first noticed McAlvoy in one of the episodes of “Band of Brothers” and thought — hello, who’s this guy? Every role he’s brought home. He’ll have a long and fruitful career. And in bad economic times he’s the kind of actor that movie-goers will actually pay to see.
He’s a keeper.
