In the '90s the models were more "curvy" (and a lot hotter) than now, think at Cindy Crawford, or Stephanie Seymour. When Kate came out she was the thinnest model, now she looks healthy. Kate was okay on the runway, but there were models who walked with more flair and personality: Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and - arguably the fiercest - Yasmeen Ghauri. Check her out on YouTube. She moved like a panther in the early '90s. She later toned it down for some reason. Gisele (who I don't care for) also walks much better than Kate. Kate was naturally skinny, but she did have some curves back then, especially compared to the skeletal models we have today.
