We were so nostalgic about the movie and remembered what a tough life Macaulay has had since then... it's so sad what tragedies some people, and especially celebrities it seems, have to endure. Our hearts go out to Macaulay and his siblings... they are in our thoughts and prayers. He will have to think about this everyday of his life. Even if he was speeding, etc., how many times have we all been guilty of that and not killed someone? It must be terrible for him, too. I had literally just stepped off the curb from the front of a grocery store and a car came flying past me. I mean, it was SO insane how fast they were driving in front of a grocery store. It seemed like they were going 45 or 50 mph. I felt like I could feel the car as it flew by. I remember it all happened so fast and I barely registered it and kept walking to my car. But I have thought of that incident over the years once and awhile and seriously think how I could have been dead 7 years ago. If had I started out one second earlier. This is so incredibly sad. Keltilass, I am very sorry to hear of your nephews. Wonderful that Chris is donating organs.

For adults being hit by cars…I was almost plowed down about 7 years ago. I had literally just stepped off the curb from the front of a grocery store and a car came flying past me.

I mean, it was SO insane how fast they were driving in front of a grocery store. It seemed like they were going 45 or 50 mph.

I felt like I could feel the car as it flew by. I remember it all happened so fast and I barely registered it and kept walking to my car. But I have thought of that incident over the years once and awhile and seriously think how I could have been dead 7 years ago. If had I started out one second earlier.
