They were so friendly and didn't even have a hint of an attitude a lot of celebs have. I even chatted with him a bit about his GQ interview I'd read. About being mean to the little people ... that doesn't wash either. During the filming of Dear John he was hanging out with cast and crew and during their kibitzing he was particularly taken with Scott Porter's tales about his high school reunion - so much so that he called him up and make the move 10 Years with him about it. Scott Porter didn't have a very big role in that movie at all. Also, he makes shout outs on his website to a guy that was a camerman on one of the movies he was in. Doesn't sound like a guy who has no time for the little guy ... Jonah Hill got to be nominated too and he's such a fabulous actor - insert Sarcastica font there. So nothing is impossible... And Gosling underplays it too, he even said he's not a good enough actor to become a character or something like that... The problem with Channing is that yes, he can improve but he'll never have range. Thing is, in his trials and tribulations, good roles might be wasted in order for Mister Modesty here to get better... At least Lutz will never have that chance. It's not necessarily that I have something with Tatum per se but more with the recent trend of overselling people as the best thing out there, when the only thing they can ever be, is mediocre at best.
