Trillion: Exactly. My husband and I are five years apart, except I’m 33 and he’s 38. 15 and 20 are different galaxies, age wise. My father would have chained me to the radiator if he found out I was running around with some 20 year old douche at that age.

Why do “relationships” like this in the celebrity world don’t make (legal) people flinch but if a local boy meets a local under-aged girl…the flashing red & blue lights bleep.

Cases: Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s younger sister) get pregnant at 17 from an older dude and more recently, Britney’s sister with the older dude. If they’re worth money to many other people, are the bets off?

5 years isn’t a big deal when you’ve reached a certain age, but 15 and 20 is a chasm. As it ought to be. (IMO)

@ Christina-
I believe that becoming a star at a young age makes a child grow up faster than normal.
But I also believe it can stunt your growth as well if you don’t have time to be a “normal” teenager because they have a tendancy to regress as they get older. So I guess it’s a bit of both. They may be on the same page right now, but a couple years from now might be different.
And I still don’t think I explained myself very well…..
