She has health problems and has frequent seizures. The dog is trained to detect the seizures before they happen and alert her by means of a certain type of bark. Thats not all. THe dog has it's own phone which connects directly to the paramedics with a recording in the event that the lady is incapacitated, and even more amazing is if the dogs device is not found, it has been trained to knock the phone off the hook and dial 911. Then one night the stove caught on fire and she just laid on the floor like a slug, no reaction whatsoever. I love dogs though, they make fantastic friends, and are good for laughs too. He went into diabetic seizures and his roomates dog started freaking out and barking waking his roomates up. They were able to get him sugar and called the ambulance.
