I find it ironic that Dane’s demographic is supposedly the “college crowd,” since so many of his “defenders” lack proper diction. I guess the standards of America’s undergraduate eduction system have finally hit rock bottom.

This guy is hugely overrated.

That email was SO written by Dane; NO ONE but Dane could give a rat’s ass what anyone said or thought about him like that, except HIM. To go on ad nauseum about AB’s lack of status in the human race just proved the opposite—what people say about him obviously matters, because he’s an insecure, untalented, toilet flush of talent. If he hadn’t made a movie with the equally untalented Jessica Simpson, i actually never would have heard of him at all. He has yet to prove to me to be a standup comic at all, just a guy who stands up, talks and laughs more at his crappy material than the audience does. Perhaps he’ll trash me next. I hope he brings his punctuation and spell check with him, because i’ll just post it with the corrections for public consumption. Keep up the great work, Alex, Celebitchy, and other sites that offer the non-red carpet folks their 15 minutes.

Hmm, I saw him on some Comedy Central stuff a while ago and thought he was funny in a spastic way, but then I saw Tourgasm (or tried to) and found him kind of boring. Employee of the Month looks like a joke, but not the funny kind.
Overall, I think he’s okay …sometimes. He is good in juvenile roles. He was alright in ‘Waiting’ , which was a terrible movie, but had its funny moments. That’s about it though.
And from a few comic friends I know, I hear stealing jokes is actually not so uncommon. Not that it’s right.

Dane is a tool. I went by his site and it’s got all of these photos of people doing the super finger. That’s an idea that never caught on.

If Dane Cook tried to tell an actual joke, his skull would detonate from the stress. him and Sasha Baron Cohen need to get together and play Yahtzee and quit trying to pretend they are in the least ways funny or interesting.

Honestly, he never even had one trick. He’s an obnoxious shmuck who just simply is not funny. I will never understand why so many people find him even remotely amusing. It’s like watching the drunk frat boy who thinks he’s hilarious try to get attention at a party.

Dane Cook is a one-trick pony, and his one trick is getting pretty old. And he’s not as good looking as he thinks he is. All in all, I think he’s pretty overrated…there are much better comics out there.

I saw Dane Cook’s dvd “Vicious Circle” and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I never saw the Jessica Simpson movie, just that dvd and it was excellent in my book.
