Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even you.
I’m pretty sure I’m older than you and Abby is right, we have not had another attack on US soil since 9/11.

My Father in law’s home town in Germany was bombed during WW2 by the US. His Mother was killed, his family was scattered, havoc and fear ensued.
By refusing to join the Hitler youth, he was put in a German work camp. While trying to escape with his only relative at the time an uncle, his uncle was shot and killed while my father in law escaped and survived. It was allied soldiers that found him and saved his life. My father in law never once threw a shoe at the AF pilots who bombed his town or the President who ordered the bombing.

Don’t you dare tell anyone that they should show more respect to this ‘man’. Bush lied to us for 8 years about the most important things: the war, the economy, the “um,” election.

LOOK at how this country has faded. You must be younger than I am, because I remember a time when the USA was actually respected in the world.

As someone who is a staunchstaunchstaunch democrat and what all my friends refer to as a “raging liberal who has a deepdeepdeep hatred for all policies Bush inflicted”

I have to actually disagree. I admit to preparing a potential move to Canada had McCain/Failin been elected, but the show of disrespect is unbelievable.

And it says something about the lack of courtesy and respect that is circulating in our world. I’m glad it didn’t hit him and I’m sad the shoe was even thrown in the first place.

Boo, refuse to show up to his events, disapprove like mad, but throwing a shoe? That’s just beyond all proper decorum.
