It turns out the reason Lindsay Lohan went to rehab wasn’t because she made some sort of proactive decision to dry out, but that she was forced to go by the executives on the new film she’s making. In fact they threatened to sue her for between $3 – $6 million because she was costing them a fortune by being late and delaying production. They also couldn’t get insurance for the movie due to her terrible reputation.
Meanwhile, another source tells Star exclusively that Lindsay checked herself into rehab after an intervention with her family and executives from the movie she’s working on, I Know Who Killed Me. “The movie executives said they had a major issue with getting her insured for the film and threatened to sue her for between for between $3 million and $5 million for the delays her constant absences were causing on the set,” the source tells Star. “Lindsay’s family and other people she works with sat down with her last night and convinced her she had to go into rehab to save herself professionally and personally. She couldn’t afford to have another letter come out about how she was being unprofessional and missing work on the set.”
Lindsay has been in a rapid decline, health-wise, since leaving the hospital on January 5, after having her appendix removed, adds the source. “She left the hospital with several painkillers on her; that was her downfall — she was using the painkillers and continuing to go out and drink. She woke up each morning exhausted and feeling sicker than ever.”
In true style, Lindsay’s mom, slutty Dina, blew off her daughter’s rehab stay, saying “she’s really in a good place right now, spiritually and mentally. She’s in an amazing, phenomenal place. She’s 20 and she’s solid…. I don’t know that many people who are that secure. It’s all about her, and getting back on track. She’s fine — she’s amazingly fine.”
Doesn’t it seem like if she really cared about her or was concerned she would give a more careful, somber statement? She makes it sound like Lindsays off on vacation, and maybe she is.
The place where she’s staying for rehab sounds like an exclusive resort. It costs $1750 a day and offers yoga classes, a high tech gym, and a gourmet chef. They’re even letting her leave to film during the day and return at night.
So Lindsay didn’t decide on her own to curtail her ridiulcous lifestyle, she was told she had to do it to keep her job. She’s not roughing it, either. I’m sorry to say this, but I doubt she’ll clean up successfully. She seems pretty set in her ways and it’s going to take a lot to convince her to change. I hope I’m wrong.
I truly feel sorry for a kid like Lindsay Lohan. Given her parents and the fame it will be hard for her to “find” her true self and realize what “normal” is.
She’s an oxygen hog. Just sucking up the air someone else could be breathing.
Egads, I can’t stand her.

I pitty the poor Lohan. She stucked in thousand dollar a day re-hab center! No drug, no booze and no way to mess with her liver. Let’s hope she took a liking to this place and stay there. At 400K$ a year, that might just do her some good.

This girl needs serious help, not a band aid. Nice to see everyone, including her mother, really cares about her getting well. It really is kind of sad to see that nobody really cares about her.

I KNEW IT! I knew the producer were giving her no choice. Unless she really decides to get herself cleaned up, this will not be her first or last trip to rehab.
With all of her drinking issues and avid drug use, I forgot how beautiful LL actually is. She looks lovely in these pictures. I would never be able to tell that she passed out in the hallway after prince’s post-Globes party.
Also, is it terrible of me to say that I would have loved to hang around with LL while she was in her coke, booze, and pills phase?
I wish her luck,she has alot going for her if she doesn’t throw it away. But with the way celebrities check in and out of rehab like its a vacation spot its hard to be optimistic.

I bet she would clean up all on her own if no one would give her any work. I can’t understand why anyone would higher her? Would an employer in their right mind higher someone with all this drama (not me)? She hasn’t hit bottom and untill u don’t you’ll never come up. All this attention she getting is not making it better either.
