Granger - you make it sound like you want Jennifer to act like a saint. I'm no fan of hers, but I understand why she couldn't keep silent anymore. She did take the high road, she didn't say anything publicly for 4 years. That's a mighty long time to take the high road, don't you think? Or should Jennifer take the high road forever? I remember a foreign song about a woman saying she's no superhero, that she doesn't have the power and strength to not be hurt by her husband's cheating, that she's only human. Can't we apply the same to Jennifer? This is a woman who was left by her husband in front of the whole world! To expect her to be a class act all the time is ridiculous. I wouldn't ask any woman in the same position as Jennifer's to just shut up, be quiet and take whatever people say about her.

Cheyenne - yes, it's so easy to say move on, doesn't it? We don't know Jen, so we can just say whatever we want. There's a certain lack of empathy in our society when we can say easily to someone who has been cheated on to deal with it and move on, and to see nothing wrong with a man leaving his wife for another woman without getting a divorce first.

I feel sorry for Jennifer Aniston and I'm no fan. She's not really charismatic, but was well cast on a TV show that was a huge success and, during that time, she fell in love and married a man who was a major film star. She was A+ list which can be a huge responsibility, because you have to have a certain "something" to stay on top. And you have to play to your successful brand. Think Doris Day as the girl next door, because that is Jen's image. Unfortunately, times have changed, and the girl next door is not as interesting as she used to be.

Without her famous show and her famous spouse, she is pretty ordinary. But the celebrity media seems to blame her for that and they've really turned on her just for being who she is. She was a tv personality, who was well cast. And, in the right tv vehicle, she could do it again. She really can't open a film, though, and would only be a success in an ensemble film if she were very well cast and the film itself were great.

Some of you need an explanation of what "taking the high road" means. It means
being mature and not whining. By the way, it also means not letting on that you would like to whine. You never get credit for taking the high road. At least not for many, many years (like at least 10 or 20). But if you do it well,
you eventually get a grudging respect.
It was the one thing she could do and was doing but she stopped doing that made her at all special.

The reason she is still remembered as Brad Pitt's former wife is that she was A list with him. I think of Kate Capshaw, who was in film. Capshaw was similar to a lot of other actresses and never would have broken through to the top of the A List on her own. So, she did something else that kept her on the A list. She married Spielberg and adopted several kids. She is maybe doing some producing. Aniston apparently wants to act, but wants to be a star as well. You have to have charisma to be a star and she'll never have it. She could be a character actor, but that is a real drop from being A list.

Earlier today I was browsing through Life & Style in the drugstore and a comment made by a so-called "insider" cracked me up: Jennifer finds what Angelina did to her pretty much unforgiveable.

I was like, WTF?! Angelina didn't do anything to Jennifer. Brad was the one who walked out on her, and he didn't need any encouragement from Angelina to leave her. That marriage had been as good as dead before he ever met Angelina.

When I was still a teenager, a very smart older person told me once: If a man ever leaves you for another woman, don't blame the other woman, blame the man. Nobody held a gun to his head and forced him to leave. He left because he wanted to. And the reason(s) why he wanted to leave are between him and you, not him and the other woman.

Whatever bullshit the tabloids keep perpetuating, it's time to leave this Angelina-is-a-homewrecker crap once and for all. Brad fell out of love with one woman before he fell in love with another woman. It happens somewhere every day. Whining and obsessing about it isn't going to change a thing. Just accept it as a done deal and move on, already.

The tabloids just like to feed a rivalry among JA and AJ because that what sells. JA has moved on with her life, its the press that likes to keep the gossip alive to profit off of it.

Kim: All over the blogs, there is so much hate for Brangelina than has been there in the last four years.
****************

Dear Kim, the only hate I see comes from you. I don't hate anyone.

Do you really know what the word means? It is shocking that you can have that much hate for a person you don't even know.

And just because I like Angelina and don't necessarily like Jennifer AS MUCH, does not mean I have to demean the one to praise the other...

I would agree with you except Jennifer did not say a word for 4 years and it never helped her. She was painted as pathetic, lonely, jealous and many blogs said really horrible things about her. Never once have I seen a comment in the last four years about on a blog or in In Touch, US weekly, etc about Jennifer taking the high-road and how great that was. Be honest if Jennifer had said no comment in her this round of interviews - it would have been said that she was still to hurt to talk about it. she can’t even mention Angelina, she is bitter, etc. Regardless of what Jennifer does she will always be critized. I think that she really just doesn’t care anymore. She is saying what she wants to say and lets things fall where they may.

-------------------------------------

I AGREE, SHE IS DAMN IF SHE DOES AND DAMN IF SHE DOESN'T, YOU CANN'T WIN WITH THE HATERS.

I love the new Jen, whatever she says, atleast people have stopped worhipping on the Brangelina holy grail. All over the blogs, there is so much hate for Brangelina than has been there in the last four years. I couldn’t get why people adored these two adulterers. For that I will not fault her new stance. Besides, even when she was not saying anything about them, tabloids claimed she was obsessed about them and kept Shiloh’s photo. Now let her expose them for the rats that they are. OK obviously is one of the tabloids controlled by Brangelina PR machine. Don’t they get anonymous faxes about the goings on in Brangelina land? The donations and pregnancy rumours?
