Lindsay Lohan ‘has been pulling out clumps of her hair & acting like a zombie’

Both The Enquirer and Star magazine have stories about Lindsay Lohan potentially checking into mental hospital to deal with her crack delusions. I’m not sure what that means except that both outlets have the same parent company and there might be some groupthink going on. And who knows? It could even be a viable solution to Lindsay’s ongoing legal dramas – the judge could give her a choice, jail or a mental health facility.

The ENQUIRER reports in exclusive cover story that LINDSAY LOHAN is more than GONE – she’s FAR gone and may be heading for the last round-up.

Lindsay Lohan continued her downward spiral of self-destructive behavior when she was busted for allegedly slugging another woman in a New York hotspot – and now pals of the troubled actress are saying there is only one thing that can save her!

In the latest issue of The ENQUIRER, we reveal the drastic steps that those close to Lindsay, 26, say she needs to take or risk becoming another Hollywood tragedy.

“At this point, Lindsay is so screwed up that her only hope of survival is an intense stint in a mental hospital under expert care,” an insider says.

‘The problem is that she surrounds herself with users and ‘yes’ people, including her own mother,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “They’re nothing but phonies and takers – and they’re letting her run wild! Family members and old friends who truly care about her believe that her last chance is being admitted to a facility for a completely mental evaluation.”

Disturbingly, the latest arrest of the “Mean Girls” star came after sources claim she’d been guzzling up to two bottles of vodka a day.

Adding to her problems, Lindsay – who already has a long rap sheet — is facing jail time for allegedly lying to police about an L.A. car crash in June.

What’s more, her finances are in shambles with the IRS hounding her to pay a whopping $250,000 in back taxes. And her performance as screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in the recent TV flick Liz and Dick was panned by critics.

Meanwhile, her behavior is growing more and more erratic.

“Lindsay has been pulling out clumps of her hair and she talks to herself constantly, shouting and cursing when she thinks nobody is around,” confided the insider. “She wanders around in the dead of night like a zombie, half-awake but in a zoned-out trance. She’s in total denial about her problems, but she clearly needs to check herself into a psych ward for mental help. If it worked for Britney Spears, it can work for Lindsay.”

[From The Enquirer, print and online editions]

She pulls out clumps of hair? She walks around like a zombie? Isn’t that just called “meth”? In Star Mag’s version, Lindsay has already seen two doctors in LA, and she was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which… sure. I’ll buy that. Sources claim one of the doctors prescribed Lexapro, Wellbutrin and Xanax, because that’s just what she needs in her life, more pills. But don’t worry, she’s already stopped taking them. A source tells Star, “She ended up getting a little pudgy, so she stopped taking them and began her alcohol-and-cocaine binge again. She also started abusing Oxycontin.” Because of course. One the doctors told her that if she didn’t start taking all of this seriously, she was going to die, and the doctor even said what was most likely: a car accident while under the influence. Sounds about right.

Two more Lohan stories for you… apparently, she’s no longer groupie-stalking Max George and The Wanted. When asked if Lindsay was his girlfriend, Max told a reporter, “No, what’s the right word for her? A yeah, a groupie! She is probably hiding in our suitcase right now!” After that, Lindsay “unfollowed” Max on Twitter and she’s probably crack-pouting about it right now. The second Lohan story is just that thing that I put in the links yesterday – Lindsay can’t make her payments to a storage company, so they’re probably going to be auctioning off her container. She owes the storage rental place $16,000, and she’s asking everyone she knows to cough up some cash to help her save her stuff, but no one is giving her anything. Any guesses to what she has in storage? We could make a lot of fun guesses, but I bet she has lots and lots of clothes in storage. Of course, many of them have crack-scabies, so even if they’re designer, you wouldn’t want them.

“She pulls out clumps of hair? She walks around like a zombie?”
Sooo, she’s trying for a part on The Walking Dead?

    • Pants says:

On the plus side, if she *did* get a part, they wouldn’t have to do quite as much makeup on her…

    • moo says:

These “sources” are a joke…. Porn is probably the only thing she’s got left, and that would be pretty horrifying too!!

    • Byte Me says:

She actually has enough hair to pull out in clumps? I thought she mostly wore wigs and extensions.

  2. SmokeyBlues says:

I do hope she can get some help. I hope the next headline isn’t something like “LL drops dead and it’s amazing she was even alive to begin with after all the years of self abuse”. It’s time to stop making fun and have some real compassion for a woman whose life has turned out like this. I feel sad for her now.

    • Mich says:

She can have my compassion when she makes a serious attempt at getting help. Until then, nope.

    • MsMileHigh says:

I disagree – she has already been given help and a zillion “second” chances. And she has managed to blow them all. People give her six figures of cash because they feel sorry for her. She has yet to stay in jail where she belongs. It’s high time she take responsibility for herself.

      • SmokeyBlues says:

I get what you re saying, I do. But to me this inability to take responsibility, do her time, and get help is exactly why she needs compassion. Who would WANT a life like she I living? She is ill and truly seems unable to do right and get help. To me that is very sad.

      • cat says:

Agree, Smokey Blues. People are rough. Saying they gave her compassion and she doesn’t deserve more? That’s not, uh, how “compassion” works.

      • Mich says:

        @ SmokeyBlue

I think you’ll find that some of the people who come down hardest on her on these threads are those who have walked the path of life threatening addiction and recovery.

Objectively, sure, addiction is sad and those in the midst of it most often are miserable. But, trust me, Lindsay knows that her life would be different if she wasn’t such a juicy/junkie. Her root problem is that she doesn’t want to stop and that is what makes her a jackass.

I feel far more compassion for Brook Muller who is now in rehab for the 19th time than I do for the Cracken who punched a Betty Ford worker. Brook might be a junkie but she doesn’t go out of her way to be a danger to society.

And, I’ll add that even when she isn’t out of her mind with substances, Lindsay has absolutely no compassion for others. Complaining about not being fulfilled by her court-mandated community service work at the battered women’s shelter is just one example.

      • The Original Tiffany says:

@Mich, I said the same the other day. Brooke is an addict, she hurts no strangers. Her kids are in the midst so that is sad, but she is alone at home doing her thing. I pity her.

LL??? Noooooo, in fact cue the Darth Vader NOOOOOOO!

Terror on the streets! We can’t even LIST her rap sheet completely anymore. We need a freaking excell spreadsheet! I have not a shred of pity and I’ve said it a million times, but I won’t pull hypoctrite shit when she kicks off and cry crocodile tears. I’ll just be happy that all her potential victims are now free from Firecrotch tyranny.

Should we list what she is? Liar, thief, whore, batterer, attacks people by car or glass, etc. Anyone want to keep the list going??? She doesn’t deserve your pity, save it for people who need it for real.

It is damned easy to keep yourself out of trouble and paps. Even Amanda F’ing Bynes has gone quiet. I got nothing for the Cracken, nothing.

      • Veruca says:

        @Tiff —

I’d pay good money to see you tell off LL. I’d say the same about Cruise, but we know he’d end up dead.

        Love the new pic, btw!

      • The Original Tiffany says:

Ah, thanks. Decided the Cracken wasn’t worth my gravatar anymore.

    • Canda says:

She is a narcissistic criminal, plain and simple. I guess there’s drug problems in there somewhere, and yes she has terrible parents and blah blah blah, but she is a full grown adult who is capable of making her own decisions, and she chooses to wander around like a crack zombie and be a b*tch to everyone and break laws. I don’t feel sorry for people like that.

    • Erin says:

I’m with you, I can’t help but feel sorry for her. She obviously has severe mental illness, and I’m sorry, I don’t care what an asshole she is, she WAS raised by just about the 2 worst humans ever to have existed on this green earth. The mere fact that she is not currently (that we know) a murdering psychopath is an accomplishment. I think in our society we tend to forget that people who have mental illness have it because their brains are not the same as normal peoples’ brains. We all (myself included) salivate over news of her mishaps, but I know that I will truly feel sad if the headline is ever that she’s dead from an overdose or suicide. I hope she can go away somewhere for a long time and heal herself, if that is possible.

      • The Original Tiffany says:

        Two words. Drew Barrymore.

Just because you have asshole parents doesn’t give you the right to be what the Cracken-gollum is.

I listed it all out yesterday.

She isn’t going to get better. She LOVES this. Some of us have been on this site for YEARS and over those years my empathy for her has died just like her brain.
Just no. I even got rid of my gravatar. Not even Crack X can get rid of the crack roach.

      • Lady D says:

I too was raised by 2 of the most horrific human beings masquerading as parents. At least Crackie has heard her parents tell her they love her. I waited 35 years to hear either of my parents tell me they love me, then I gave up waiting. I don’t drink, do drugs or have a record, just like so many other posters here who have had the same horrifying childhood. I’m so sick of people blaming everyone but her for her actions. You cannot help someone who doesn’t want it. Show her compassion and she will throw it right back in your face, along with her drink.

      • Mich says:

Her problem isn’t her parents. The world is and will always be filled with people who have crappy parents.

Cracken’s root issue (in my humble opinion) is that she has been fed the kool-aid of her own greater-than-greatness from a young age by everyone around her. I don’t know how someone overcomes that without first being thoroughly humbled.

      • The Original Tiffany says:

Hey Mich! Ska-bam! You got it. Ding, ding, ding! We have got a winner.

Move that cone! I am a self entitled bitch! Oh, I mean Lindsay Lohan.

      • G says:

While I don’t have anything good to say about Blohans parents, I do note that none of her siblings seem to have turned out to be career criminals becasue of them.

In fact, with the advantages and money that Blohan has had, she, of all of them has had the greatest ability to use her resources to mitigate their influence.

    • The Original Original says:

see I do hope that is the next headline. Ive never felt that way about anyone before but Im so tired of the crack drama! And we all know it will never stop until something unfortunate happens. I wash my hands of her.

    • Polk8ot says:

Compassion? It is obvious that she is again trying to pull some crap that would serve to blind the court in her upcoming probation revocation case on 15 Jan. It is a clear public opinion manipulation, to get the sympathy of the judge and get herself off easily. She’s done the same shit before, when the judge threatened to throw her into jail and she ‘volunteered’ for rehab, which she of course never completed, but that did not matter, since she got what she wanted from the judge by then.
This is her MO, and she is absolutely trying to pull the same shit, in hopes that the judge will let her off with nothing since she is ‘so mentally distraught, so in need of mental health intervention’. *E Y E – R O L L*
I’ll save my compassion for her victims, past and future.

      Also, for Newtown, CT.

Spoiled rotten, selfish narcissist deserves no more good will and no more compassion.

    • elimaeybe says:

As much as I love crazy-Lindsay stories, I agree. It’s time to show this poor, lost soul some compassion and hope she gets the help she so desperately needs.

    • Lulu says:

I don’t really know how much narcissists are capable of in the way of actual suffering. Suffering comes from mental anguish – the kind you get from regret. She regrets nothing. I find that any compassion I might be tempted to feel evaporates when I think of her self-entitled ass getting behind the wheel on a regular basis and endangering human life. Kill yourself if you want to, but don’t take out others (same goes for the assholes who shoot up elementary schools before shooting themselves).

I expect she will be dead soon from all of the toxins she is pouring into her body. Her liver, kidneys and lungs have to be just spluttering along as it is.

  3. Erinn says:

I took Wellbutrin for my depression for about a year. I really did not enjoy it, though I suppose at the time it was better than not getting out of bed, and crying all day.

Had the WORST sleep, and most horrible nightmares while on that stuff. Luckily, I’ve been able to manage the depression since, and rarely need medication.

    • KaitX says:

I’m sorry to hear that Erinn, good to know that you’re feeling better. I was on cipralex this year for anxiety, and tried numerous sleeping pills for my chronic insomnia but nothing worked! Eventually my system just sorted itself out and hopefully I won’t have to deal with it again. Best of luck to you!

    • I.want.shoes says:

Sorry you had a bad experience. Have you tried other meds? I was on Cipralex for about a year for postpartum depression. For the first month or so I had trouble sleeping but then it was ok. I’m coming off of them right now and so far, so good.

    • Mich says:

Oh my. Wellbutrin is the stuff in Zyban, the stop smoking aid. My GP gave me some and within a week I was suffering from terrible anxiety and ended up having to go to the hospital because of a chemically-induced panic attack that wouldn’t end. My blood pressure was through the roof and I had to be shot up with ativan to bring it down. I called the company to report the incident and before I even told them what I was calling about they said it by name. Horrible stuff. People have absolutely awful reactions to it.

I hope you are feeling better now. If you ever need help again, I agree with others that Cipralex is a much friendlier drug worth talking to your doctor about.

    • MyCatLovesTV says:

Wellbutrin is horrible. At least from my personal experience. I am sure many are helped by it. I got it to try to help my fibromyalgia. The first couple days I felt GREAT. Then I heard buzzing in my ears. A few days later I was searching the house to see where I left a radio or TV on. Within nine days I was full on hallucinating and hearing voices. I was terrified. I still had enough something to know it was Wellbutrin so I stopped taking it immediately. I told the doctor and he didn’t seem surprized. Guess that happens sometimes. I hate to think what would have happened on Day Ten or Day Twenty. RX meds can help but they can also mess you up big time!

      • Bitca says:

Shrinks really are all about the pills, & they over-prescribe. For those of you having trouble with welbutrin, it’s pretty speedy. Unless you take it 1st thing in the morning—&don’t drink coffee—you’ll feel like flies are buzzing around inside your head. Lexapro causes weight gain, but most shrink favorites do. Still, I’ve seen it save lives. Cymbalta has no side effects for me aside from vivid dreams, helps more than lex, & main issue is keeping the Dr from raising my dose. He should just focus on finding meds that are a right “fit” for patients’ brain chem.

If you tell a good Psych MD that a med makes you extremely uncomfortable, he’s supposed to have the sense to respond to your complaints & switch you to something else. Geez; there are scores of options. You don’t need to replace one misery w/a new one!

Problem is, these pills can help people function, but you can’t find a way to appreciate life or discuss what is holding you back with a Pill. If I had insurance, would be therapist-hunting ASAP.

By the way, did meds & isolation & whatever else they did to Britney *really* make her well again? Guess they define success with her by the fact she hasn’t shaved her head lately.

In Lohan’s case, a Keeper would at least be a massive favor to the public. The extension-tearing might lead to that, with luck (BTW: a weave proper, is purchased hair sewn into braided hair on one’s scalp–THOSE can def be be ripped out–but takes years for your hair to recover).

      • gg says:

I had a similar experience. Felt like I had a fever. Skin was all achy and crawly. Terrible.

      • the original bellaluna says:

Wellbutrin (for fibromyalgia and depression, several years ago) gave me the WORST nightmares I’ve ever had. It was awful, just awful.

I told my doc and he said “No more Wellbutrin for you!”

    • crazycatlady says:

I tried a couple of mild prescrip anti-depressants some years back, but didn’t like the side-effects. I’ve been taking St. John’s Wort for about a year now, and I have to say I think it has been working. I wouldn’t say I’m a cheery mf-er now, but I don’t feel despair like I used to, don’t wish I was dead, don’t dread getting out of bed anymore (even though my life is less than peachy).

      • gg says:

Pharmaceutical meds can’t fix everything. Sometimes what’s needed is actually behavior modification or similar therapy, where patient retrains their doom/guilt/shame thinking patterns instead of pills. I took meds for years, off for a while now, and I have to say the side effects weren’t worth the benefit. Looking back, I feel I could’ve gotten the same resolutions of my problems as a placebo. There is no substitute for working it out. And I’m sure my liver didn’t appreciate years of Zoloft, etc.

      • the original bellaluna says:

St. John’s Wart is a nice herbal alternative (I’ve a friend who swears by it), but it is hard on the liver (per my former pharmacist). So is Valerian root, according to him; both particularly so if alcohol comes into play.

    • wild flower says:

Thanks to all the posters for the info about Wellbutrin. I was just given a prescription for some this week. I’ll look at the side effects issues before I start taking it.

      • Shelly says:

I personally do pretty well on wellbutrin, I do get headaches sometimes.
I also take Lamictal and prozac.

I’m bipolar, ocd and clinically depressed and this seems to be a pretty good mix for me (for now)

I was on lexapro (porked up) and effexor (hair started falling out!)
The withdrawal coming off effexor was horrible! took me months to get off it.

I can’t take anything like St. johns wort since it can induce mania in bipolar people

I have had a lot of talk therapy, but I definately need the lamictal to stabilize my moods.

give the wellbutrin a shot it works for me (ha without the weight gain of lexapro), just be aware of how you are, but then do that for any psych med.

      • snark says:

Just want to chime in and say that like many of you, I’ve been prescribed lots of antidepressants over my life, and all of them made me worse- more depressed. Common happening, and not surprising when you read the possible side-effects of these drugs. Know what cured my depression? Vitamin D. I take 6-8000 IUs of Vit D every day, and I haven’t been depressed at ALL in 3 years. Some of you who struggle and aren’t seeing results from the RXs might give it a try. Won’t hurt you, and studies show many of us are Vitamin D deficient anyways. Good for your heart and also may prevent cancer to boot. Hope this helps someone!! 🙂

  4. brin says:

She needs to be institutionalized…either padded cell or jail cell.

  5. MsMileHigh says:

Has she thanked Charlie Sheen yet for the $100k he coughed up? Hey, Charlie – would you please pay off my grad school student loan? It’s lots less than $100k and I will be certain to at least say thank you.

LL looks sooooo bad in white clothing. And white hair. And ‘spray tan’. And funky, greasiness (she doesn’t look like she showers regularly). But she is worried about gaining a few pounds? Please.

    She needs to be institutionalized.

  6. NerdMomma says:

I’m pretty sure at this point she IS a zombie

  7. Agnes says:

she’s just trying to get out of her legal issues. please.

as always, love the pink fur pic!

  8. goodquestion says:

I suspect that this is just something her people are putting out there to keep her out of jail.

    • jwoolman says:

They may be forgetting that UCLA already evaluated her for about 30 days. Was supposed to be a 90 day sentence for rehab and mental evaluation. They pushed her out after 30 days into outpatient, and she promptly managed to test positive for cocaine… That’s why all her judges since then have said her problem isn’t addiction, that was UCLA’s conclusion.

  9. Alexandra Bananarama says:

So without a major miracle 2013 could be her last year? And to think she was so gorgeous once.

  10. cw says:

does anyone else think that it is absolutely impossible for a person to drink 2 bottles of vodka w/o dying…unless it’s the little airplane bottles???

    • SmokeyBlues says:

For a while, yes. My dad had a friend who drank that much vodka for years, a terrible alcoholic who always said he would stop one day. Then he bled out in his mothers arms, crying and saying he would stop drinking but it was far too late because he was dying. He died there. Alcoholism and substance abuse is a terrible thing and its amazing what the body will endure for an amount of time. Eventually it’s too late.
Maybe my experiences with alcoholics is why I only feel sadness and compassion for her. People don’t want to face what they are doing to themselves (and to others around them!) and then its far too late…

    • anon33 says:

I work in disability law and have had hundreds of cases with alcoholism involved. If the person has been drinking for years and years, yes, they can build up a tolerance for that much alcohol. I’ve had experience with several claimants who ingested similar (and even more) amounts on a daily basis. So it is possible, but not really for “normal” people like you or me. If one is a full blown alcoholic, however, anything is possible.

      • The Original Tiffany says:

People also pop insane amounts of vicodin. Addicts will eat 50 a day of extra strength vics.

Even at the height of my back issues I was only at 12 and that would about kill a normal person, but 50? (I haven’t touched the stuff in forever-yes!)

Some people do it. Just like some drink 2L a day. There is always someone in the ICU going through DT’s and they are worse off than the bypass patients. IF they live.

    • Axis2ClusterB says:

Absolutely possible. In my line of work, I’ve seen people walking and talking with completely unbelievable alcohol levels.

    • Bread and Circuses says:

I knew a guy who drank a 40 oz bottle of vodka at a party. It took him about eight hours, and he was still walking and talking at the end of it, although not with much competence.

So I can believe it’s possible for a hard-core alcoholic to down two 26 oz bottles in a 16 hour day and be functional.

  11. Mia 4S says:

Probably a bit of truth but to be honest who knows? It’s not like she has the resources to sue the tabloids or any kind if PR power anymore. They can say what they want.

But the does sound like meth behavior.. Uh oh.

  12. Shelley says:

I have zero sympathy for someone so relentlessly arrogant and who has hurt so many people (kidnapped and drove well over 100 mph; struck people with her car; punched and thrown heavy glassware at people; stolen from shops, designers, and people who were stupid enough to allow her into their homes; etc etc). Let’s see how much sympathy you have for her when she injures or kills someone you love while driving down the road screaming “get out of the way, I’m Linday Lohan!” As just one more example, in the recent wreck in which she demolished the car she was driving by rear ending, at high speed and in daylight, an 18-wheel truck (defying her own contractual agreement with the ‘Liz and Dick’ producers to not drive). Just think what injuries/fatalities would have occurred if she’d struck *you,* not an 18-wheel rig. Sympathy still?

    • Sugar says:

exactly! your comment reminds me this is the reality of her actions by her choice to behave as she has for so long because she thinks she is who she isn’t-special. team no sympathy!

    • NerdMomma says:

This is it right here. Yeah she has mental problems and substance abuse problems but the core of her personality can be seen in these actions. It makes compassion difficult.

    • Annie says:

Exactly! Suffering from depression and drug addiction and doing regrettable things because you are suffering is one thing. Trying to force others to take the blame for one’s actions, acting as if everyone else is worthless and in general being a hateful, pompous, self righteous douchbag is quite another.

    • DreamyK says:

And remember when she blamed the car for the accident? She said the brakes failed, at which point Porsche sent out a specialist to inspect that car and said that Lindsay was a big ol’ liar Mcliar. And then the water bottle full of vodka in the trunk?

She needs help. I don’t feel sorry for her though. You reap what you sow.

  13. ShazBot says:

Okay that source is so obviously Michael Lohan. That sounds exactly like him. And while he’s not totally wrong about what she needs, he should lump himself in with the users and yes-men

  14. Sunny says:

If that diagnosis is true…there is no medication that has been proven to be therapeutic for NPD. The challenge is that people with that type of personality disorder, by virtue of the diagnostic criteria, won’t seek the help they do need (intensive therapy, even DBT) because they’ll fail to see the problem lies within them. It makes me shudder to hear the reports of what doctors are prescribing and for what. It’s terribly unethical to prescribe a benzo to someone with a known substance abuse problem unless there is a valid diagnosis that would warrant it, which NPD would not. As a mental health counselor I feel torn between hoping she gets help, which she desperately needs, but also loathing that she has not had many of the consequences so many others have had for MUCH lesser crimes. Mental health services are very hard to come by for so many people and funding is so inadequate that it just bothers me how much money is being spent on giving her second chance after second chance. Sometimes people need to go to jail (for more than a few hours), that is their rock bottom. This story has just become disgusting.

    • Axis2ClusterB says:

THIS. You cannot medicate personality disorder, and anyone tossing Xanax at someone with the documented substance abuse problems LL has is just wildly irresponsible and not operating from a position of trying to do what’s best for her.

Your second point is what pisses me off so much with this chick. She has proven time and again that ‘second chances’ are not going to work with her, and yet she just keeps getting them.

    • Elizabeth says:

+1 on the medication with PDs, particularly narcissism. I’m so mad the new DSM is getting rid of the Dx but that’s another story.

Also, with NPD, because they are so self absorbed, they have to completely crack (on their own!) before they will get treatment, and that can take a long time. I’ve seen it in action before, and it’s not pretty.

    • emmie_a says:

Sunny: I agree about not medicating NPD but I don’t think that is her only problem. I think she has a laundry list of issues. I wonder if even her doctors are ‘yes’ people who medicate her according to her demands, much like Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife. What competent dr would prescribe adderall to a drug/alcohol addict?? It’s an extremely addicting drug & I wouldn’t be surprised if Lindsay is taking it

    • decorative item says:

Therapy is not good for these people either. They learn the “lingo” and then use it in their manipulation of others. It’s like giving them weapons of a sort, they are extraordinarily difficult to deal with on every level.

      • TrollyDolly says:

My 39 year old brother has NPD. He lived abroad for 20 years so we only knew what he told us. When we only saw him 2/3 times a year there was no reason to doubt or disbelieve him. We were trying to be loving and supportive when he moved back penniless and troubled. However the tipping point was when I started to join up the dots – it was always everyone else’s fault – difficult bosses, grasping girlfriends, traitorous friends,

My enabling Mother won’t acknowledge it either. It’s just “Poor Philip”

It’s a particularly difficult disorder to treat, medication doesn’t help – unless s/he likes pill popping as a sign of their “unique and profound” personality.

They have a Labyrinthine mindset, unknowable to non NPD.

    • MSL says:

I was wondering when someone would bring this point up! If she has a personality disorder it isn’t fixed by anti- anxiety medication like Xanax. It takes years and years of cognitive behavioral therapy and is usually very unpleasant to treat for a mental health counselor because they don’t think there is anything wrong with themselves. Instead it’s everyone else who is dumb and below them.

    • Lulu says:

You are so right sunny. My mother suffers from NPD and also from depression. She has been on anti-depression meds for years, which sorted out the lying in bed and crying all day, but did nothing for the raging narcissism. She has lost contact with everyone in her family except my one sister due to her disorder, yet will never see that it is she who has the problem. It is always everyone else who has the problems and can’t handle that she is always right and does the right thing. That is why we all ‘hate’ her. Because she is so perfect and wonderful.

    • Sassy says:

I was waiting for someone to address the NPD diagnosis. From what I have researched and know first hand, there is no cure for this mental illness. A close relative of mine has it and still does. So all the advise for Lindsay to “get help” may not help her at all. She is and most likely always will be delusional.

  15. dorothy says:

That’s what happens when your on drugs, drink, act like a fool in public, travel and party instead of paying your bills!

  16. Lulu says:

    Head lice?

  17. pink elephant says:

That Herbie car’s got a big mouth!

  18. Sisi says:

Will the pink fur coat be in storage?

    • Shelley says:

LOL, Sisi! Good thought. That coat should be in a museum, although I don’t know which one. Is there a Disasters Museum somewhere? And it must be well fumigated beforehand.

  19. TheOriginalKitten says:

She’s probably yanking out extensions, not her real hair.

She’s been a ticking time bomb for years now-this is not news.

Also, does anyone else think the dudes from The Wanted seem like total d*ckheads? I have no idea who they are but I keep reading really rude quotes from them. Not that I think they were incorrect when they called LiLo a stalker, just that they’re kinda rude for saying that sh*t to a reporter.

    • emmie_a says:

I guess The Wanted guy was probably rude for saying what he did about Lindsay — but Lindsay is such a despicable person that I thought it was funny that even this nothing band wants nothing to do with her.

    • pamspam says:

Thought the same about extensions. I’ve had them in the past and as the bonds start to loosen, they slip and you can easily pull ’em right out.

That Wanted guy is definitely a d-bag, and I hate him for making me feel a bit sorry for her again. She’s a dick, for sure, but she’s not mentally stable and taking advantage of the mentally unstable is pretty low.

I bet the storage unit is full of stolen merchandise!!

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

LOL about “the trunk full of stolen merchandise” 😉

        Agree with your entire comment.

  20. Diva says:

The only mental issue that girl has is being an entitled self destructing brat. She needs to be in a jail cell not a mental institution.

  21. KJ says:

LOOOOOOOOL no he did NOT call her a groupie outright. Hoooly shit, this girl needs to re-evaluate everything about her life.

  22. Madriani's Girl says:

That awful pink coat looks like it’s made from a cheap bathroom rug or a toilet paper cozy.

  23. sirsnarksalot says:

Apparently Scores (strip club) has offered Lilo the $16K to pay off the storage locker debt in exchange for shooting some promo videos for them. Sounds about fair and probably the best offer she’s got at this point!

  24. Flora Kitty says:

A brave muppet gave up its life and became a pink fur coat to provide the Crack-a-Luffagus with warmth.

  25. Ruby Red Lips says:

If Lindsay does have mental illness then its due to her brain being eroded and fried from all the crack/meth/heroin & pills she pops not to mention vodkagod why doesn’t anyone realise drugs f*ck with your brain chemistry & can completely alter your mind permanently!!!!

All that being said I really hope she sorts herself out but this has been going on for years & is her lifestyle so she would have to completely cut off her current life including her ‘mum’ & I can’t see that happening so I feel this is going to end prematurely and badly. Sad but what else can be done??

  26. Ruby Red Lips says:

    • kimcheee says:

You’re right about the brain damage. The amazing thing is that if she wanted to change that, she could. If she stopped drinking and drugging and followed a great diet, used some supplements and followed Dr. Ahmen’s “Change Your Brain – Change Your Life” program…..her brain would change and she’d normalize. But that would require taking responsibility for her problems. If people keep “saving” Lindsay – she’ll just look for someone to bail her out. No one will care about her once her looks fade – in about 2 years – at the rate she’s going …. She is only 25, FFS!!! She looks 45.

  27. Cathy says:

I don’t feel bad for her. She’s had enough chances. Time for her to find out that there are consequences for your actions. Of course we’re talking about the California legal system here, so she’ll probably walk scot free. Maybe NY will do better and give her some free room and board at Rikers Island.

  28. Madriani's Girl says:

She doesn’t garner much sympathy because she is truly a horrible person. She blames all of her thefts and DUIs and accidents and drug possession raps on other people. She doesn’t take responsibility for anything she says or does, and she rarely suffers any real consequences. She believes the rules the rest of us have to live by don’t apply to her because (in her mind only) she is an A-list star. She treats people like dirt, she dresses like a low-rent whore (and thinks she’s sexy), she is a racist, and she steals and she lies. On top of all of that, despite every effort made by friends, the courts, and Dr. Drew (who is a stone idiot and uselss), she refuses to admit she needs help. Blame her parents all you want, and they do have a lot to be blamed for, but there comes a time when you have to take responsibility for your own actions, and she refuses to do that. She has blown every “second chance” given to her.

    • Annie says:

ALL of this. Plus add on the fact that if anyone DARE report her ass to the po-po (what, I guess those minions are supposed to feel honored that Lindsay just assaulted, almost ran over or stole off them???) then she ALWAYS accuses them of being “just after money and 15 minutes of fame”.

That is so twisted, obnoxious and self-unaware I don’t know where to begin. It’s probably this that makes me hate her the most.

Her parents are just as awful as her (if anything Dina is even worse) but are not 100% responsible for the person Lindsay is. Her and her family deserve each other – it’s genetics, or karmic soul ties, call it what you will.

  29. truthful says:

everytime I think it can’t get any worse and she has hit her low…

she digs a hole and burrows lower

    just all downhill

  30. Sara says:

I didn’t know she had any real hair left to pull out. This is probably a ploy to get her off by showing she is unstable and can’t go to jail.

  31. choppersann says:

With everything good she’s had and experienced….I’d still hate to be her…what a miserable existence

  32. snappyfish says:

that header photo actually made me gasp.

    yowza.

  33. C Money says:

She is officially the Nealy O’Hara of her generation – The fallen star in “Valley of the Dolls” in the late ’60s. Be adequite.

    • some bitch says:

I had her pegged as this generation’s Barbara Payton. Unless Lindsay gets some help now I feel she’s headed towards a horrible death.

Came across Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen a few nights ago. She was gorgeous! I totally forgot she played alongside Megan Fox in that movie too… there’s no comparison now. Amazing how lives change in eight years, huh?

  34. Simone says:

My dad was an alcoholic and the doctors told him that if he didn’t stop drinking he would die, that didn’t had any effect on him and he drink himself to death, my point is she knows what she’s doing and she doesn’t want help what she wants is to whine about how everyone is against her and she’s just a victim.

    • Veruca says:

That happened to my best friend’s mother as well. I’m sorry for your loss, and sorry he couldn’t overcome his demons.

  35. Babette says:

Totally agree with you, BUT, at least he is, for whatever reasons, TRYING to get her some help. The totally useless White Oprah is completely silent. She’s such a waste of oxygen.

    • G says:

I deeply disagree with the idea that making public staments about Lindsay, her health, her career and finances are ANY evidence of family “helping.” It just feeds all their narcissism. If ML really wanted to help Lindsay he would stop talking about her and his family in the press completely. Forever. I completely reject the idea that the only way ML can speak to Lindsay is through tabloid news. I call total BS on that.

What someone like Lindsay needs is to go off the grid and get private intensive help because she has finally comprehended that she needs it. That she gets that actions have consequences

And that is where I have compassion for her. She seems simply unable to reflect on herself and her behavior. Zero self awareness.

    • Bess says:

I would have more respect for Michael Lohan if he showed an equal amount of interest in the welfare of all of his children. He did nothing while Ali was basically living with Blohan full time from the ages of 15 through 18+.

If he was convinced the Blohan was using drugs, shouldn’t his priority have been getting his teenaged daughter out of the drug addict’s house?? Where were his tears for Ali?? God only knows what that girl has been exposed to living with the Cracken.

  36. Skaffie says:

I wonder why nobody SAVES HER?nobody,Nobody, nobody! meaning: there is NO ONE WHO REALLY LOVES HER>thats so sad, it makes me wanna cry!

    • cr says:

To repeat what’s already been written on many a LL thread-she can’t be helped if she doesn’t want it.
And apparently she doesn’t want it.

    • silver says:

what? over the years, dozens & dozens of people have tried to help her & none of their help paid off.

getting sent to rehab 5 timed, not getting fired from work when she constantly failed to show up, getting her crimes dropped or dismissed, getting the least punishments for her crimes, community service, offering to pay for a year-long rehab stay, giving her hundreds of thousands of dollars for free… that’s all people trying to reach out to her, trying to help her & cutting her slack.

she’s not alone or not being offered help, she just wants gullible people to think that she is so they feel bad for her.

  37. kim says:

She was basically a whore before she got super cracked out, and now no one wants free, let alone fee sex, from her shabby ass. She needs to throw in the towel and take life a bit more serious, because these stories are pathetic. Is she feeding the tabloids so ppl feel bad for her like they did for brit? So she can go to a hospital, and not take that serious like her runs with rehab before? Former teen queen drug addicted alcoholics suck.

  38. kim says:

  39. G says:

“…If it worked for Britney Spears, it can work for Lindsay.”

It’s this thought that put her here in the first place. I called it back when Britney shaved her head Lindsey was taking notes. Careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

  40. lucy2 says:

She has repeatedly chosen over and over to live the life she is living, so I don’t feel sorry for her – however, it would be a good thing for her to be admitted into a hospital somewhere, if only because she’s a danger to others at this point.

  41. Jay says:

Still the “‘Mean Girls’ star” not the “‘Liz and Dick’ star”, huh?

    • Bread and Circuses says:

Possibly evidence of this story came from her team? They’d like to distance her from the widely-panned movie, and remind people of the widely-beloved movie.

  42. Madpoe says:

    since when can she act?

  43. claire says:

I hope she DOES get committed to a mental health facility or jail. Preferably the mental health facility.

I fear that if something doesn’t change the momentum here, that she’s going to kill someone with her car.

  44. dcypher1 says:

Treatment only works if u want it to work. Lindsay dosent think she needs help she thinks shes fine. She has to change and she always stays the same. So basically shes a lost cause.

  45. Louise says:

She’s ott needy. Chasing men she barely knows around the country shows that. This girl could be one of the best, but she’s not. She reminds me of a marilyn monroe situation, someone with not that much talent pushed and controlled by others who keep them drugged and pliable. It’s a shame.

  46. skuddles says:

Hmm I smell a MiLo. Is Poppa Lohan working up to a conservatorship perhaps? I recall hearing that he wanted to do it before but ran into severe resistance. Maybe he’ll try to have her committed? In any case, somebody has to do something. HWood – quit freaking hiring the crackie disaster! And courts, stop coddling her FFS! She has A LOT of atoning to do – time for harsh reality to bite her in the ass.

  47. Sean says:

At this point, who cares? She has had every chance to turn this around. Instead she got worse. Yes,her parents are wretched. But there is a point where you can’t blame them anymore. She is a alcoholic, drug addicted, sociopathic, narcissist thief. She is almost certainly unable to change at this point. The jails, and the cemetaries are filled with people like her. She exists only as entertainment for the rest of us know. And really, that has been her purpose for the last decade. For the rest of us to laugh at.

  48. Holden says:

Didn’t they already try a version of this when she checked into rehab the last time she was arrested? Of course anyone would rather be in rehab or a mental health facility than jail, lock her up.

  49. Shelly says:

Eh, I call BS on this story. I don’t think she’s mentally ill, at least not in this way. She’s just an addict and a fool.

  50. swack says:

Somehow I don’t believe this story. If these “sources” are selling stories, then why not sell the pictures too? I’m not saying that pics are a good thing, but if all her so called “friends” and “sources” are selling the story then they are low enough to sell the pictures. I believe what many believe, this is a way to get her out of going to jail as this is not the first time recently there has been talk about going to rehab. to avoid jail. I also believe she doesn’t want help, doesn’t believe she needs help and therefore rehab will not help. Time to, as they say, pay the piper and own up to your responsiblities. Here’s another thing – those 2 LA doctors that have diagnosed her – have they really spent the amount of time it takes to make a proper diagnoses or have they seen her for 10 minutes because she is dr. shopping for drugs?

  51. rtms says:

I honestly think this thing with the Wanted guy was her version of Taylor Swift’s romance with Harry Styles. I think she was delusional thinking she was this girlfriend who could go on great cross country trips etc and he would shower her with ‘gifts’ Only he knew before it even started it was just for fun. She is nuts to think that guy really wanted a romance with her. Tells you how cracked out she is right now.

    • Loira says:

      Member how she used to”sing”?
She was performing at some MTV VMA, I think I remember her wearing white, she was probably starting her way down, she was embarrasing.

She probably thinks she is still one of the cool kids, but actually she was deemed a groupie. She needs to sit down.

  52. la chica says:

In hindsight the period with Samantha Ronson was the most stable of LL’s filthy life.

  53. sickinbed says:

    1. Send her to the jail/hospital? they locked Paris up in. Seemed to traumatize her enough to where she eventually straightened up as best a hasbeen famewhore can..

    2. She probably crashed in to the tractor trailer because it failed to recognize that she was LINDSAY LOHAN!! Move out of the way big obnoxious rig, can’t you see I’m THE LINDSAY LOHAN? No? Then move outta my way, I’m coming through!

  54. jwoolman says:

Not that she couldn’t use it… but really, this sounds as though the lawyer just finally convinced her that rehab was an unlikely way to get out of jail this time from both locals and feds, so they’re trying this instead. Do they have comfy celebrity mental hospitals? Does Dina have one picked out? Do they have family plans?

Anyway– She doesn’t have enough hair for it to come out in clumps, just extensions, although if it really were coming out in clumps- that would just mean it’s dead from malnutrition (all that booze instead of food) and coming out gradually when she pulls or combs it (been there, done that when I could hardly keep anything down for two months). And narcissistic personality disorder isn’t really all that treatable… I imagine it’s rampant in Hollywood, though. It runs a whole spectrum from benign (which helps on stage, I guess) to pathological (like Kate Gosselin). Lindsay could be somewhere in the middle, I suppose, but she may have other disorders. Mainly Mean Girl Syndrome, I’m afraid. But who can tell until she’s really sober for at least a year or two?

  55. Moi says:

Ya won’t criticize LL at this point. I can’t believe I even clicked on her link. I feel bad for her, I really do. What are the chances that she will become another statistic because no one put their foot down and told her to get her shit straight, or start looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I know what would help…..ignore her.

  56. Leek says:

I honestly couldn’t care less what happens to this person. Like, literally, I will feel nothing when she finally destroys herself. I do, however, have major concern for people who could end up dead b/c of her. She is frightening. I’m not an attorney so I have no idea but if someone ends up hurt b/c of her I would have to think the Los Angeles judicial system will have to accept their fair share of accountability for repeatedly letting that drug addled monster out on the street over and over again without ever being responsible for her own actions. Most likely tragedy will strike but they could actually have quite the lawsuit against LA county?

    • decorative item says:

Based on that logic, every victim of every person who committed a crime after being released early would have a case against L.A. Co. The law is set up so that that cannot happen.

  57. Ruby Red Lips says:

I dont think Lindsay will ever get sober – I mean can u remember going out & getting wasted and waking up in the morning with that huge feeling of shame because of something u did or said or just ur behaviour – now imagine 10 years of that shameful feeling after being cracked of your head and behaving really badly inc being a hooker & aborting babies – there isnt enough therapy in the world to get through that & the strength of character needed to do so, well I think we can agree Lindsay certainly doesnt have that, hence why she’ll never change, & never wants to because to do that is a task so frightening she wouldnt be able to go there. So its going to end badly – very sad waste of what could have been a fantastic life

    • Boo says:

See, the thing you said about shame–that’s what keeps most poeople from doing terrible things over and over and over. Normal people don’t want to hurt other people or ourselves. But she has no sense of shame or embarrassmnent, and that is why she hasn’t changed. Sociopath.

      • Ruby Red Lips says:

Boo I think you are right – I think I (for a moment of madness) confused Lindsay with a normal empathatic human being who feels shame and remorse! Doh for me – must be all those cracktinis 😉

    • silver says:

aborting babies? do you have a link or a source stating that or are you just assuming that she’s had multiple abortions?

  58. hotpaprika says:

Not publishing comments that question whether you are objective or not, even though they were not rude? NOT fair play dear celebitchy.

  59. Chrissie Malcolm says:

Either this is the genuine beginning of the inevitable mental melt-down in this sad saga, or …

It’s an entirely cynical move to avoid jail time.

Now, which do you think? Hmmmmmm.

  60. Sara says:

Why are people on here saying she used to be a hooker? I hadn’t heard that. Is this just something that came out?

  61. laura says:

In the top pic she looks like she could be 50 years old…so sad!

  62. Jag says:

Based on my experience and what the doctors gave her, it seems that Lindsay has untreated bipolar disorder. She needs to find a competent psychiatrist to help her, imo. I was diagnosed as “depressed and anxious” and was given an antidepressant and an anti-anxiety medication, when in reality, I’m bipolar and needed a different medication than the anti-anxiety. I didn’t get those until I changed doctors. Many people with bipolar disorder self-medicate with alcohol, so that can be another indication. As for these source statements, I think she’s trying to avoid actual jail for something she thinks will be cushy. If they do decide to give her jail time, I hope she has mandatory visits with a psychiatrist to figure out if she’s really bipolar, or what her other issues may be.

  63. lettylynton says:

Lindsay needs to dress like a sad clown and sing ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’. She is obsessed with Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, yet she seems to be Judy Garland. Minus the great singing voice. But I’d listen if she sang SOTR.

  64. slashs-hat says:

true ‘compassion’ WOULD be putting her away for an extendeded period of time to detoxify. she’s FOR SURE gonna die-SOON-at this rate, I’d guess sometime mid 2013.

  65. Dee Cee says:

Whenever Lindsay scores ten bucks pay legally.. her family mother and people she owes money to, the crappy managers.. want thousands.. STAT,.. but she wants to party and spend some of her pay tooo…

  66. Dee Cee says:

Maybe she and Charlie ought to be in a reality show and out the down side of this crappy life they lead..

  67. JudyK says:

OMG, I just saw this and wondered who that old woman was. Would never have recognized her. Please get off the drugs, Lindsay. You can do it with some serious help.
