Ryan Phillippe, 34, flew into his girlfriend Abbie Cornish’s native Australia this weekend to reportedly spend the holidays with her family. The couple took another big step and posed on the red carpet together at their second public appearance. They were photographed inside at an event together in June, and again at her 26th birthday party in Vegas, but until now have not walked the red carpet together. They were seen at a Calvin Klein fashion show on Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour on Tuesday night. Ryan was supporting Abbie, who is one of the new ambassadors for the brand.
This is often a big move for a celebrity couple to take, depending on how press-shy they are. While some celebrities take a joint event appearance lightly, kissing and cuddling on the red carpet after a couple of weeks, Ryan and Abbie have been together a long time, there are hardly any paparazzi photos of them out at LA-area hot spots, and this is no doubt a calculated move on their part. You have to wonder if an engagement is in the works, and I bet the tabloids will soon be speculating about it. They look very happy together and that would be great news.

He looks like a jerk.
While she seems attentive (and beautiful, if I may add) and leaning toward him, he seems self centered and mainly facing the photographers, rather than leaning back towards her.
I don’t understand why this seemingly lovely woman is even remotely interested in him.
He is bland as an actor and seems like an idiot in real like.

I think (just my opinion) that they have kept it low profile to precent further damage to Ryan’s career (I use that term loosely).
It seems like he went into damage control after the “affair” came out. And yes I realize that’s his job – but the whole “I woke and would vomit. and I wanted to kill myself?” just seemed like another one of his mediocre performances.
Abbie is beautiful and talented. Her career will do well (probably better than Ryan’s).

WHile I’m Team Reese, she doesn’t seem to be hurting these days and really has moved on.
So I’ll do him. And then — since he’ll be useless to other women thereafter — I’ll get him a job at my favorite Mexican restaurant to serve me margaritas every Friday from now til eternity.

Ahaha wow … people seem pretty flippant here about affairs and ‘moving on’ and then insulting the wounded party and their respective facial features or careers.
I can only hope that one of these “hot women” pawing at their keyboards gets cheated on and left for a younger (supposedly) better looking woman while the workplace and locals cheer on the ex! LOL. Sad.

OMG I love them together. I just saw this linked from another site. I can’t imagine why people project their personal feelings and assumptions onto actors. They didn’t do anything to you so enjoy their talent and gorgeousness and relax.
If you haven’t seen Abbie in anything try Candy she was awesome with Heath and Stop Loss the movie Ryan and Abbie made together was great
