Paris really needs a reality check and some history lessons. It’s unfortunate that the girl dropped out of high school and chose to be infamous, rather than get an education and pursue higher paths in life. I recently saw an interview with Lydia Hearst where Lydia practically dissed Paris and was horrified that anyone would even compare her to Paris. They are not in the same playing field at all. Lydia went to public school, graduated high school and college, and is an established contributing writer to various publications and also hosts various news segments. What has Paris done to make herself believe she’s an “icon”?

If anything, Paris Hilton is a blonde troll who gives american bluebloods a bad name. The definition of icon comes from the Greeks meaning image. Icons, in the world of Christianity, are people like Jesus Christ, his mother Mary, saints, and prayerful people who inspire peoples lives. So, someone tell me how in the world is Paris Hilton inspiring people physically and spiritually???? She’s not!

Paris, Ms. Hilton, do yourself a favor and go back to prison. Request to be situated with the general population. Maybe then, you’ll inspire people who made mistakes in life to get off the chosen path of doom and destruction. It seems Paris has never been given any proper direction in life and it shows in her comical statements. I know, Paris should become a stand-up comic! She can talk about how pretty she is; how she’s never had to work a day in her life; and just how reachable her mediocre goals are in her life.

Oh how mediocrity pumps through Paris’ veins.

I seriously get an allergic reaction to people who say their life’s goal is/was to become famous or an icon etc. I think true icons have all had to work for their success (and no, I don’t count being paid to party as work, it may be exhausting, but that’s how far my pity goes), in more than one way and are remembered because they contributed to making the world a better/more interesting place. Paris does neither in my opinion. At least Marilyn could act and think for herself, she was savvy!
