Liam Hemsworth & Miley tweet photos of his ‘wedding’ ring: are they married?

Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are at it again with the tweeting of “subtext” photos. Notice that I am including Liam in this nonsense too, which means that those rumors of him being annoyed with Miley’s constant tweeting of drama are probably just that — rumors. As time wears on, I’m beginning to think that they’re really on the same page, maturity wise, which I guess is a good thing for a young couple who’s planning to getting married. She’s silly and goofy, and he laughs hysterically at squirrels. They also now have matching Teddy Roosevelt tattoos. And now they’re both being goofy by posting photos of Liam wearing a “wedding” ring via his Pheed account and her Twitter page. So, did they get hitched?

To answer the question, no, Miley and Liam probably didn’t get secretly married over the Christmas holiday or any earlier than that. They’re reportedly planning a huge, three-wedding extravaganza, and I don’t think Miley is the type to secretly head down to the courthouse to get married in advance. She wants a big, splashy series of parties, and she probably wants the cover of People. Basically, this wedding bidness is all she has going on other than her dogs and her pilates, so I can’t blame her for wanting to go all out with these nuptuals. However, I do blame her (and Liam too) for being generally annoying on social networks. Now we know that he’s all about the tweeting of dumb photos too.

I think these photos are cute! What’s so inn about it? Why really freaks me put is that brother of hers, aaaaah! Run for the hills!

Ohhhh. I hated Hannah Montana, or whatever. But I like her, she is very young but seems to realise it and enjoying it. Good for her for having such an awesome life.

    • pink giraffe says:

If she realized how young she was she wouldn’t be getting married. She’s obviously very immature, and her parents ceded control a long time ago. It’s sad; I hope she ends up more like Drew Barrymore than Lindsay, but if you’re paying attention, she’s headed for trouble.

      • psykins says:

“if she realized how young she was she wouldn’t be getting married”

Wow, OK, I see nothing indicating Lindsay-level problems here. Miley does seem to just be having fun, and being young doesn’t mean you can’t/shouldn’t get married. Even if she ends up divorced (likely even if she waited until she was 30 to get married, given Hollywood track records), who knows if she’d regret it? I’m sorry, I just hate when people pre-judge based on age. I got married at age 20, and so far everything seems to be going ok (yeah, it’s only been 2.5 yrs). Even if my husband and I were to divorce and absolutely hate each other, I’d never regret the time we spent together. How do you know Miley wouldn’t feel the same about her relationship with Liam?

      • LAK says:

Jeesh, many child stars even the out of control substance abusing partiers are far too mature for their age.

They skipped the childhood phase of their lives which normal people go through, and are adults whilst technically still being children.

If she’s being goofy, great. At least she’s enjoying her life rather than working to support her family.

And if she marries young, so what? she seems to have chosen a grounded person to marry rather than a substance abusing out of control partier. That speaks to her maturity even as she seems to behave in ways you disapprove of.

      • Just Me says:

With all due respect, 2 years into a marriage isn’t any sort of gauge on how long a relationship is going to last. 2 years into a marriage, you’re still a newlywed. I met my hubby at 18, married him when I was 20, had a baby a year later and am still married 14 years later. At that age, you couldnt tell me anything. i knew it all. Love is all conquering. Love is all enduring. Nothing else matters. You couldn’t tell me otherwise. I love my husband, and I adore my kids, but Looking back, knowing what I know now, I’d have waited. Love is a struggle and a lot of hard work. when you commit to someone else in that way, and especially bring kids into the picture, there’s not much room for anything else until your children are grown, and then…..well, how old are you at that point? The OP is right. Miley is so young. But then, she won’t ever have to worry about being midlife and wondering where the hell her life went. She has enough money to buy a new one. I don’t hate Miley. I think she’s cute. My daughter watched Hannah Montana. But….if she was my child, I’d be whispering in her ear about how theres just so much to see and do in the world. If it is true love, it will wait. And her relationship will be so much stronger b/c she’s had enough time to be selfish and stupid, make mistakes and go buck wild and do things for JUST her. You don’t think it matters when you are young. It’s not until you’re in your 30s that you realize the opportunities you had that you’ll never get back.

      • call_in says:

@justme: wow, what great advice! I’m at a similar junction right now and when you put it that way, it seems like waiting is a no-brainer.

I know just about everyone can’t stand this girl, and maybe that’s why I have a soft spot for her. I get that she’s kinda ridiculous, but she’s still a kid. As for the 3 weddings, I think I saw an interview where she said that was just a rumor and she’s only having 1 wedding.

    • Dani says:

Yeah, she was on Ellen and said she’s only having one wedding.

    • thebutlerdidit says:

Agreed! I’ve become a big fan. I’ve mentioned it here a few times, but while I was working for a celeb charity org, I worked twice with Miley and Billy. Easily the nicest, most accessible of all of the famous folks I dealt with. Also, saying she only has her dogs and pilates is totally unfair. Her new album is due out right after the first of the year, she guested to really high ratings on Two and a Half Men, so she’s just doing things at her own pace. Until you see what they expect out of those Disney kids, y’all, try not to judge. That is like indentured servitude. It’s pretty awful.

  4. bella says:

looks like Miley has wedding rings on, too.
    i think they’re married.
    UGH
    why do i care?? lol

  5. Aubra says:

I think what it is, is that she’s one of those Disney Factory products that tries to get bad ass and “break her programming” by showing how edgy she can be and while true, it bugs us moreso because after being a product of said factory, it comes off as contrived and forceful and desperate…*yawn*

    • Chellez says:

I mean, that would be true for an adult, but even some of the baddest bad asses were good kids. Its not like she was an adult and suddenly changed everything. she was a kid, grew up and changed- like MOST people do. Idk why this post talks about her and Liam being ridiculous when everyone this age and older use these social networks. There’s no harm, so why the anger?

  6. jess says:

I dont think they are married, its just to get attention. They are both famewhores.

  7. Kate says:

Lol chill out, damn. Neither of them posted attention seeking pictures, she posted one with her younger sister on her twitter and Liam doesn’t have any social networking account- that Pheed isn’t his.
The pictures came from her mother’s Facebook account which some fans gained access to, so neither of them are attention seeking at all.
She’s also said a few times that the story about her having three weddings isn’t true so this article is a bit much.

  9. Rumorhasit says:

Good-Ness, does he really need a green card this badly?

  10. Dawn says:

Really? These pictures upset people? Really? I think the pictures are cute and it looks like these kids are having fun, lots of fun. I mean come on, it’s not like she is in her 30′s and been married twice and is a skank or anything. So I say you go girl, enjoy every bit of your youth while you got it.

  11. bns says:

Is anyone else having trouble commenting sometimes?

  12. Ms Kay says:

On a bitchy high note, I was hoping that Chris might grab his hammer and beat the nonsense off Liam for getting engaged to Miley but that same Chris is married to “notorious” Elsa so…

    • Chatcat says:

I agree…these Hemsworth boys seem to marry party girls…not a female that has lot of substance or smarts, but hey it’s Hollyweird and it’s not like any of these marriages are going to be durable anyway. On the other hand, I don’t think the brides are getting anything other then all brawn and no brains so….

  13. Riana says:

Lol, they’re being annoying on social networks…to people looking to see what they’re doing on social networks. If you’re not looking there’s 0 to get annoyed about.

They seem like silly cute Christmas family photos, same as everyone else. Sooo annoying.

  14. The Original Mia says:

I thought the pictures were cute, fun Christmas pics.

  15. Jocelyn says:

I would take these photos every day over Rihanna’s ridiculous half naked attention seeking photos.

I don’t think these are bad at all. She is goofing around with her family on Christmas.

I know Miley annoys a lot of people, but she doesn’t bother me. She is annoying, but seems like a sweet girl, but silly, young, and finding herself.

  16. Boo says:

In the pic with four people, is that tall…person her brother? The Angel of Death? What?

And who is the woman doing the Lohanesque gang symbol?

I am secretly glad I don’t know who they are. Or not so secretly, as it were.

  17. gillociraptor says:

There’s also the possibility he’s wearing the ring as an engagement ring. Some couples do that. My husband’s ex wanted him to wear a wedding band as an engagement ring when they were engaged so that everyone would know he was off the market. Or maybe they were trying their rings on. Or maybe they did get secretly married.

  18. Rianic says:

My husband wore a band after we were engaged and before we were married. I know it isn’t common, but some couples do that

  19. Marty says:

Actually she doesn’t annoy me as much as she used to. These aren’t as bad as some of her attention seeking photos. The truth is they are BOTH very young minded, so it’s not like all this extra they do is surprising.

  20. Eva says:

Miley can post whatever she wants as long as she doesn’t complain when people have opinions on what she puts out there. Miley’s biggest problem is that she wants to post about her private life and she wants a private life. What she says and what she does are complete opposites.

  21. Sweet Dee says:

The cute-but-gay trainer at my gym was wearing that same pink sequined santa hat.

  22. carrie says:

Twitter is the new Facebook:some persons (usually the teens) tweet her life !

  23. MerryHappy says:

I know they’re supposed to be an attractive couple, and maybe it’s the lack of sleep, but they look so unattractive together in those pictures. When i see her now, all i see is her hugging a stripper on her birthday.
Who’s the witch now, Hathaway? FACE.

  24. buckley says:

    She kidnapped my Tito!
That dog looks exactly like mine.

  25. Samantha says:

Her pics are a lot like the ones my younger cousins post on Facebook all the time. I admit, I roll my eyes at Miley A LOT, but she just seems to be going through the stereotypical late-teens/ early-20s rebellion stage, where you’re trying to figure out who you are.

Heck, I went through something similar in college!

The only difference is that she’s doing it in public.

  26. KellyinSeattle says:

People give passes all the time to “kids”….yeah, yeah, but when I hit 18, I was considered an adult…yeah, poor me…but she’s not a kid, she’s a young woman who can’t stop tweeting. Cute pics, but I’m just sayin….same as people giving a pass to Prince Harry for acting like an ass because he’s still a “kid”…gimme a break.

  27. Javagirl1 says:

That’s a fail Bedhead..they’re just posting pics that anyone would post on a social network…sheesh

  28. Lynne says:

Didn’t her 16th birthday bash last like, half a year? I definitely agree her wedding won’t be hush-hush.

  29. Ginger says:

Hey! I laugh hysterically at squirrels? What are you trying to say?? Lol!

  30. ShakenNotStirred says:

Typical ‘look at me’ photo-op. And of course a way to get the media buzzing about their nuptials.
