My friend was at a con and she said there was a big difference and how some stars acted. Some showed up early, stayed late, smiled and sighed autographs. Honestly, if someone poses and signs autographs for fans 95% of the time on the red carpet, I really don't care if they don't smile much. However, I've heard the same thing about Harrison Ford...That he can be incredibly rude to fans, even kids, and will literally almost never poses for the cameras past a minute. There are a lot of male stars who just don't smile much on the red carpet and look like a hot mess (Johnny Deep for one), and few people give them grief. There are a lot of legit things to criticize Kristen Stewart on and I understand criticizing someone for not being all red carpet ready, but that's one I always thought was overblown (OMG she's such an ungrateful ungracious beyotch for not smiling more ). Instead, why not just mention they look dull and boring...maybe it's because I never thought not smiling meant one was ungrateful. Ungracious, maybe, but not ungrateful. Frankly, I find it ungrateful when one publicly trashes a project or people involved in it, like Chris Evans did with some of his previous films. This. The best was at the Homeland Season II premiere, where she posed for about 45 seconds, then sneered something about the photogs having stolen (her) soul enough for one evening". It was shocking, actually, that she showed zero appreciation for the Showtime executives or fans or press, all of whom had a big hand in helping her win her Emmys....
