I'm proud of him. He used to be way too prideful to fess up about such things. I'm in Minneapolis, and the man is still a demigod here, even though he only performs a couple times each decade. He has however earned it. And I don't blame him for finding Adam Levine silly, given what Prince did to become what he is/was. He performed all the instruments on and fully produced his first album, and it sounded like what the "greatest," most fiscally bloated producers -wish- they could do. His admittedly creepy Svengali projects throughout the 1980s actually worked. And he is one of our greatest living guitarists and frontpersons.
