She doesn't look horrible, but it's just not the most flattering to her face shape. She would look better with a short bob angled with longer hair around her chin. That does NOT mean that when you hit 40 that you HAVE to have a pixie cut BUT, if the long hair style down to your butt drags your face/features down and makes you look older once you hit 40 or so, then it might be time for a lovely shoulder length do (which could take years off you). Not all women look good with a pixie cut and the same goes for not all women look good with curtains of long hair either.
