Oh man, he always played those ''help me, I'm vulnerable and sensitive" roles so well back then. Even as a 9 year old I wanted to nurture him and kiss those pretty, almost painted lips. Jack Dawson, Romeo, Louis XIV's twin brother Philippe, etc., he was the epitome of Prince In Distress and it worked me right over. Same with Brad Pitt in Interview With A Vampire. That was the greatest celeb crush I ever had. I remember being like 8 and sobbing when I realized Louis wasn't real and that Brad was the real person and he may be nothing like that, lol. Existential crisis similar to being younger than that and realizing I'd never be a genie like Barbara Eden. Leo went downhill big time though. I still love him [Calvin Candie ftw] as an actor, and his life seems vapid but also pretty harmless. Just a tad creepy. I have no issues with anyone dating someone a lot younger, as long as it's legal. But seriously, at least date someone who can sound intelligent.
