But... with alcohol, there is a means to detect whether someone is driving under its influence, the breathalyzer. There is no such device (yet) for MJ. Though I don't think pot is nearly as bad as other drugs (perhaps including alcohol) in terms of impairing judgment and skills, I still would not want to be driving around with others on the road who are high at the time.
