I think I would be sad for what she could have been. In the same way I feel sad for those I read about in the news or come across in life that could have been more, but through progessively bad decisions chose their own hopelessness. It's silly and unwarranted, but I still hold out hope that she pulls a Robert Downey Jr. (he was a huge mess back in the day) and turns her life around. I'm not religious, but maybe religion would be helpful for her? I don't know. I wonder about this too. I think I would be sad for what she could have been.
