As we discussed yesterday, Gerard Butler finally got around to admitting that he and Brandi Glanville hooked up at some point… I think 2011. Brandi admitted it in 2012, then Gerard kind of denied it (“Who’s Brandi Glanville?”) and now Gerry is all “Yeah we hooked up but it’s not like I knew her full name or anything.” So now we have to hear Brandi’s reaction to Gerard finally admitting that they boned:
Brandi Glanville has had her share of public embarrassments — Eddie Cibrian’s affair with LeAnn Rimes, anyone? — but she’s learned how to shrug them off effortlessly! Speaking to Andy Cohen at Watch What Happens Live! in Austin, Tex. — where WWHL is filming all week for SXSW — the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was noticeably chill about her former fling Gerard Butler’s recent admission.
Glanville, 40, told Cohen that she felt “vindicated” by the actor’s confessional chat with Howard Stern — in which the Olympus Has Fallen star admitted that he and Glanville slept together for a “one-afternooner,” but then forgot the reality star’s name during a quick chat with a photographer.
“We had a little texting today, and I think he’s a doll and I feel bad for what I said,” Glanville told Cohen – who previously over shared with the Bravo emcee about her fling with Butler, praising his talents as a lover.
“He is lovely and I appreciate him making it right,” the Drinking and Tweeting author continued.
Butler himself confirmed that he and Glanville reconnected. “I said one, ‘I’m not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.’ And two, ‘I’m sorry I said I didn’t know who you were!'” recalled Butler, whose previous hookups include Jessica Biel and Jennifer Aniston.
Oh, so they still have each other’s numbers? I bet Gerard’s girlfriend isn’t happy about that. But that’s what she gets for dating Gerard Butler. There’s always going to be some Real Housewife or Porto-potty tramp waiting in the wings! I don’t really understand why people are judging either Gerard or Brandi for hooking up – they were both adults, they were both single at the time, they had a quickie or whatever and the only drama that came out of it was whether Gerard remembered her name. And I don’t even think Brandi was that upset about it, you know? They’re both a little long in the tooth for these kinds of shenanigans, but whatever. Let them have their fun.

Well, there are different degrees of happy. She wasn’t leaping with joy or excitement about Butler’s admission, just more like, “OK, that’s nice.”
Also, Brandi-is-a-liar seems like it’s been a big theme for her lately, so I can understand her appreciating another piece of evidence that she is honest.

That photo at an angle of her face shows what those fillers or cheek implants have done to her face. She looks harder and every bit her age of 40 these days; whereas, before the overuse of fillers and whatever she’s doing lately, she looked much younger than her age and soft and fresher looking, more natural. It reminds me of how bad Madonna looks at angles now, harder looking.
She was so much prettier and fresher, even a year or so ago. She needs to stop before she’s past the point of no return, into Lohan-Maloof land. What a shame.

I am the same way. Last year she looked great. Whatever filler and Botox she used it was minimal. She does have naturally high cheek bones, but now they are just filled to the max. In interviews it’s really all I notice anymore is how odd and immovable her face is with all those fillers and how much older she looks. She was so pretty that I can’t figure out why she does this to herself when she makes fun of Adrienne and others who look overdone, plasticized.
It reminds me of a girl I worked with. She was literally breathtakingly stunning. I am not exaggerating. She had full cupid bow shaped
lips, sleepy blue eyes, perfect skin, soft
beautiful blond hair, not bleached, extensions. She was 30. I ran into her a couple of years later and her lips were blown up into that huge, shapeless trout pout look like Nikki Cox did. I heard it was permanent, silicone. It ruined her. I felt so sad that someone so gorgeous didn’t like her looks that others envied. Her boyfriend owned strip clubs andci think that skewed her thinking even though she had a career and even though had a slamming body, always dressed sophisticated sexy like pencil skirts and fitted tailored blouses.

I think it is more the case that excessive drinking has caught up with her. According to her ex, even when she was married she drank a lot. He tried to get her friends to talk to her about getting treatment, but they refused.
Not going to judge her (them) for hooking up but she certainly likes the attention. I get that she wants her 15 minutes, but if she doesn’t stop attention whoring soon, people are going to actually start sympathizing with LeAnn Rimes.

There’s some hypocrisy around here without a doubt but I would say that I rarely (if ever) read a bad word about any celeb, especially in regards to appearance from Samigirl and brin is pretty mild towards all celebs—-queen of the one-liner she is.
But yeah, toxing is out of control. I get the urge to do it-I really do, but there has to be a way to do very minimal amount. I think there are celebs in Hwood that do fillers but we either don’t notice or can’t be certain that they indulge. THAT is the best way to do injections-nobody should notice, your face shouldn’t look like a bloated mask.

I got botox first for my ‘Mom 11s” ( the vertical lines between brows). That progressed to broader ( read: around eyebrows to temples/ tiny forehead margin) treatment for migraines (it did help)— but ended up with a permanently paralyzed tiny muscle that left a divot in my brow and a tiny, tiny droop.
Doesn’t upset me particularly, but once I saw that, I thought “Stop now before something worse happens.” And this was in the office of an MD/PhD in oculoplastic surgery…just sayin’.

I think after being driven to her knees and finding her way back to her feet with her current success, Brandi’s still trying to figure this all out. She’s getting a lot of input from Hollywood PR on how to behave and Hollywood PR is almost always wrong. I’m sure she’s told not to appear as a whiner and show her confidence which can come across as cocky.
I think she’s a tough gal and hopefully will learn to show her humility. It’s hard to show the humility one sleeps with at night when one is required to fight for everything they can get all day.
