If I was Kim Kardashian, I would have come to the quick realization that “the haters” were going to yell at me for whatever I wore, so I might as well be comfortable. Maybe Kim has reached that point? These are pics of Kim on Friday, after her week-long promotional extravaganza for Tyler Perry’s Temptation was closing out (incidentally, while Temptation did decent at the box office, Kim’s performance was widely slammed). Aren’t you happy that Kim actually seems to be wearing somewhat comfortable clothes? Aren’t you happy that her ass isn’t hanging out in a too-short skirt? Aren’t you happy that she’s wearing pants (however unfortunate)? It is a relief to see her in a loose t-shirt and what looks like “fancy sweatpants” (which are fug).
But here’s the real question: was Kim trolling us this whole time? Was she trying to look bad? Was she trying to look big? Was she trying to get more and more attention because she, like Jessica Simpson, wants a big weight loss contract and magazine covers detailing her weight loss after the baby?
Could Kim Kardashian, whose dubious fashion choices have made her pregnancy curves look even larger than life, be teeing herself up for a deal with Weight Watchers? Industry observers are speculating that the blossoming reality star, who’s due in July with her child with Kanye West, was making a play for a megabucks deal with a weight-loss program to help her lose the baby weight, following in the footsteps of Weight Watchers’ currently pregnant spokeswoman, Jessica Simpson.
Kim has drawn ridicule for strutting around in tight-fitting couture maternity wear, including sky-high heels, snug dresses and A-line skirts. The baffling choices have prompted fashion commentator Amy Tara Koch to quip, “It’s like she’s trying to stuff 5 pounds of baloney into a 1-pound bag.”
Her size has also giving the celebrity tabloids fodder to publish headlines about the starlet’s ballooning figure, including this priceless kicker from In Touch: “Kim’s 200-lb. Nightmare: I Can’t Stop Eating!”
Kardashian this week tweeted about her unhealthy food cravings, posting photos of french fries and a burger from In-N-Out with a caption: “Damn!!! I spoke too soon! My 1st pregnancy craving! #InNOut #EnjoyingEveryBite.”
It all furthers buzz that Kim is publicly piling on the pounds to nail a weight-loss contract where she’d lose the fat later for a large payday. But a source close to Kardashian insisted, “There is no weight-loss deal on the table,” adding that Kim “loves her outfits. They are stylish and cute.”
A rep for Weight Watchers said that there was “no truth” to rumors it was looking at Kim as a possible spokeswoman.
Kardashian addressed the fat jokes on Jay Leno’s show Thursday night, saying that she’s gained 25 pounds during her pregnancy. But she seemed to be happy in her skin — for now.
“I’ve always been curvy and always embraced my curves, and now there’s more to love,” she said. “ I have the rest of my life to be skinny and to lose weight, and I’m not really worrying about it.”
If Weight Watchers doesn’t want a piece of the Kardashian ass, it’s not like WW is the only game in town. She could do Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem or one of the lower-tier weight loss programs whose names escape me at the moment. Kim is still sort-of training with Tracy Anderson too – maybe Tracy will sign Kim up as “the face” of some new line of postpartum weight loss programs. I’m just saying, it’s totally possible that Kim was just trolling us this whole time.

QuikTrim. A few years ago when the Kardashians weren’t *as* horrible and hated, I saw some ads for that stuff and bought it. Spent a week just feeling non-stop nauseous and going to the bathroom way too much before I threw it out.

You are exactly right! She hasent spoken about the anticipation/joy/nervousness/fear or about the actual baby itself, just about herself, her weight, her “stress” and her opulent lifestyle so far. When I found out about my impending little one, all I could talk about was her; what she was gonna look like, about her schedule(yes, I already started planning her day schedule while she was only a few months in utero!) all my plans for her, what might her personality be like, ect… Im sure Im starting to test the patience of all my non-reproducing friends by now. But Kim is oddly silent about the actual baby itself or her feeling about it. Strange.

I thought that when she first announced the pregnancy none of the weight loss programs was going to offer her anything. She may get magazine covers (they can be paid for) but probably won’t get any deal. I also think Jessica is still on with WW after this second baby.

There is very little on KIM that is real injections, implants etc she is pretty much manufactured product herself. That is not what WW wants. Her bump situation is decidedly odd. I am four months preggers and at this stage there is definitely a lot of fluctuation–sometimes I look pretty normal, other times I am severely bloated and definitely look pregnant. However, my friends who are due in June and July have bigger, more pronounced baby bumps than KK–you can tell there’s a baby in there by 5/6 months! In the case of Duchess Kate, it’s understandable that she shows less since she is so very tall and lean. But Kim’s body totally mystifies me! I wouldn’t even guess that she’s pregnant from these pictures. It’s truly bizarre. Also, I agree with all the postings about her seemingly totally lacking any mothering instinct. She is oblivious to how shallow and stupid she sounds when she talks. I honestly believe she is completely convinced that she sounds likable or relatable. Sorry KK–your plastic deformed looking face just makes me cringe.

Meanwhile – if she really is pregnant (still not sure), we can always hope that the big surprise plot line is that she is acting as a surrogate for Khloe… Or at least will get allergic to the baby and hand it over to Khloe within a few weeks after the birth. Khloe will do okay with it, she basically raised her two younger sisters (Mama Ten Percent being a minor league Duggar in that respect).
Acting as a surrogate for something other than financial reasons requires empathy. Methinks that rules KK out…she doesn’t appear to have an altruistic bone in her body (unless she had one implanted…)
The powers that run WW are too protective of their brand to go anywhere near any of the Kartrashians. They choose their spokespeople very carefully.
This family appeals to a very small portion of the market. The majority despises everything they stand for. WW wouldn’t risk the huge public backlash which would result if they signed her.
Agree with others, if there is already a Quicktrim lawsuit any of the weight loss companies won’t go anywhere near her or any of her family members either. They’re proving to be a bad investment.
