I doubt it. I think Fassy just likes to sample the goods.

    He’s a dabbler.

    • Liv says:

But they would make a great couple! I found Zoe Kravitz sweet, but too young for him. And somehow I thought there wasn’t chemistry with Nicole Beharie (didn’t watch the movie though). But I really like the idea of Rosario and him being a couple.

      • Camille (TheOriginal) says:

        @Liv: I agree with you.

      • Ali says:

Others thinking they did or did not have chemistry is irrelevant to the fact that they quite clearly had at least that. Something kept them together for over a year,

On the subject of Rosario . . . she’s mostly harmless.

  2. madpoe says:

Nope! Can’t say I accept, endorse or co-sign a Fassbender/Dawson alliance! lol. Maybe Zoe or Kerry or Naomie. *heavy sighs*

  3. StaCat1 says:

I can see this happening? She is Way closer to his usual type than say Charlize Theron or Jennifer Lawrence.

But who knows if it’s real?

    • Kayla says:

Hmm personally I want to see Michael and Charlize get together.

      • Me says:

Well, I wanna marry a billionaire but that ain’t gonna happen, either, honey. Keep dreaming, tho. Cuz that’s the only place it’s gonna occur.

  4. Janet says:

I’ve liked Dawson ever since she played the badass girl in “Death Wish” with Kurt Russell. I’ve never understood the appeal of Fassbender though.

    • Andrea says:

I thought she was the best thing about the RENT movie. She has musical talent. A great dancer too.

    • Glaughy says:

I think you mean Death Proof. Love that movie, and love Rosario in it!

      • Janet says:

Death Proof, thank you. The first half of the movie was crap but the second half with Dawson almost made up for the godawful first half.

  5. Guest 5600 says:

Why does Michael Fassbender keep getting involved with all these C List actresses who are just using him to help their careers? I guess that ugly old British director she was sleeping with didn’t get her the roles she wanted.Ugh,Michael you look worse and worse every week.Maybe he should quit smoking.

    • Andrea says:

Dawson may not be a huge star but she has actual talent. I doubt she would need to use him. I’m not sure why her acting career isn’t bigger. She has acting skill.

      • OhMyGawh says:

She’s said in interviews that because of her color, it’s hard for her to get gigs. Also, she’s been told she’s too fat.

  6. Dani says:

Ehhh…….I don’t buy. If they were spotted together, than I see this as a business meeting only. Or maybe cool friends.

  7. Lipsy says:

    She’s too good for him.

  8. mel says:

Holy shit, he needs to eat a sammich.

  9. Rhiley says:

I would kill for his figure.

  10. Miss M says:

I don’t like it and I have no particular reason.

  11. Lucretia says:

In response to an earlier comment, Danny Boyle isn’t ugly; he’s older, but that doesn’t mean ugly, and he’s a gifted director involved in interesting things–maybe that’s what she liked about him, do you suppose? And Rosario is a skilled working actor, not a “C-list” climber; how demeaning.

    • Andrea says:

That’s what I said. Dawson came from nothing and has talent in both acting in music. She’s a gem.

It’s amazing some of the vapid attention seekers who get praised while actual quality women like Dawson get overlooked.

      • Miss M says:

Actually, I saw a video of her, singing with Jeremy Renner, and she was good. I recently saw a movie with her on netflix(cannot remember the title) and she was good in it.

    • Glaughy says:

+1 Totally agree with everything you said here.

Just because she’s not A-list means she’s a desperate climber. oh okay.

I actually think she could do better than Fassbender.

  12. stinky says:

she also seems way cool in real life, to me anyway. she always seemed genuine, down to earth, etc… i can see them playin it cool together 🙂

  13. T.Fanty says:

I hope she has the number to the local VD clinic.

  14. Laura says:

I have friends who work in the industry and Dawson always gets name checked as one of the few genuinely lovely actresses working today.

    • Zannoub says:

yep that’s right. A friend of mine worked with her on the Alexander movie in morocco, and when she had issues with the accomodation Rosario offered that she shares the room with her!

  15. Lolly says:

I like this pairing. Sorry Kaiser.
    Ciara..ummm?
That pic of Paris Hilton & Hef is so hilarious. I feel we should do a “Caption This” type contest

  16. c'est la vie says:

Dawson bothers me – I don’t know why, she just does.
She always plays herself in movies, I don’t see a lot of talent there. Flesh on display yes, talent no. No matter who she’s playing I always know it’s Rosario freakin’ Dawson.

Maybe that’s why she’s not a bigger star.
That said, as for her and Fass, why the hell not. They seem like the sort of couple the paps like.

    • Dubois says:

She bothers me too for this exact reason. I always feel like I’m watching Rosario and not a character.

  17. DAFFY says:

    ….. its been everywhere……….

  18. Leen says:

Of course World War Z has a political message. If you read the book, Max Brooks hits the nail with his political predictions. It explores a lot of socioeconomic issues as well (for instance, CEOs aren’t as useful in the post-apocalyptic world as their skills are useless, compared to a plumber for instance. So CEOs are more likely to be ‘sacrificed’ than say plumbers, nurses, etc).

  19. Raised Brow says:

This saddens me…why are we Fassey-bashing today? 🙁

    • Laura says:

Right? I’m a Fassy lover. I come to his posts here for laughs and pick-up-Fassbender lines, from Kaiser and the comments…Why no love today, you guys?

Also, I really like Dawson, but I will accept Michael Fassbender with no one…unless it’s me 😉

    • Lucretia says:

It’s Fassy’s birthday today. In honor of that, could all the naysayers manage to lay off for one day? You can all go in a chatroom somewhere and feed each other the same tired old lines you always post.

      • Miss M says:

It’s his birthday and Kaiser didn’t write thread only about him. Times have changed indeed…

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

THANK YOU, ladies. It must be the Hiddlestans and Cumberbitches all up in here or something.

    • FassDaActor says:

That’s why I’m not over here as much. He’s beyond looks and I’m not interested in who he’s seeing until he says something. I just need to see his work…like now. Happy B’day Fass.

  20. Christina says:

I doubt it. She’s too close to his age, and too famous and talented in her own right. Fassbender seems to me the type of guy who prefers women who are much younger and less accomplished than him, but because everyone here has the hots for him, it’s rarely remarked upon.

    • andrea says:

I hear you. Despite what he’s said before, I honestly don’t think his ego could handle someone who’s as (or nearly as) big as he is. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if they’re smashing, but I don’t know if he’d take it further. Besides, didn’t she just get out of the relationship with Danny Boyle last week or something? Oh well, if something more than a fling (or a movie) does come out of this, it might mean he’s finally growing up. Awwwww…..

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

It saddens me that you guys don’t think Nicole Beharie is talented. She went to Juilliard and received the Robin Williams scholarship-the first recipient to get it by unanimous voted. I urge you to check out her work and hope y’all change your minds-start with “American Violet”.

Rosario Dawson is pretty solid as well but I’d still chose Nicole’s work over Rosario’s.

      • andrea says:

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I think Nicole’s got a great resume. If she was just a vapid fameseeker, she’d have moved to London and basically house-sat for him, but she stayed in NYC to keep working on her career. However, in terms of fame and recognition, she’s nowhere near him at this point.

My take on Fassbender is that he likes them feisty, bright, young, and talented, but if/when they start to mature and really develop their own way of thinking, it becomes a bit too much for him and he bails.

      • Christina says:

I never said Nicole wasn’t talented (I haven’t seen any of her work so can’t comment). What I said is that Fassbender seems to prefer women who are much younger and less famous than him. Like I said, because he’s supposedly hot and not your typical Hollywood star, he seems to get a pass on his rather stereotypical ‘movie star’ dating behaviour.

  21. ZigZagZoey says:

Did anyone see that April Fool blind item yesterday?
I actually fell for it until it dawned on me last night what the date was.
    Kinda funny.

  22. KellyinSeattle says:

Wow. I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t find Fass attractive AT ALL.

    • Janet says:

Move over. I don’t think he’s attractive either.

    • islandwalker says:

I don’t get it either, he does nothing for me. She however looks the best she has ever looked in those photos.

  23. hatsumomo says:

Jeez Im still so upset I missed GRRM’s lecture at College Station a couple of weeks ago. My lovely other half deemed me “too pregnant(eyeroll)” to make the drive and wait in line to meet him and get his autograph then wait in line some more to get into the lecturehall and listen to him though I totally could’ve done it! Hopefully there will be another opportunity…I can only hope.

  24. dahlianoir says:

    Can’t hate, she’s awesome.

  25. B says:

I like him a lot but she can do better in my opinion. They always call women sluts but Fassbender is the biggest ho of them all. Sorry but guys can be used up too.

  26. Sean says:

Hottest celeb sex video of all time? I think these two have it in them to do that for us.

  27. Bijlee says:

You said Rosario Dawson and I thought thandie newton….isnt newton dating Danny Boyle? Anyways thandie newton and fassbender should get together.

    • Me says:

Thandie has been married to the same man since Jesus was a boy. They have children together. So, no, to her and Fassy.

  28. Gimma says:

I love Fassy but SHE can do much better! Although they would make one HOT couple and she matches/surpasses him looks wise so that’s a plus for Fassy! If they are together it’s a definite upgrade, she’s talented and beautiful.

    • Me says:

Talented and beautiful, yes. And so is his ex. You tried it, though. 🙂

    • Pearl says:

@Gimma You sound kind of superficial. Though not conventionally attractive, Nicole is not ugly and it’s not all about looks. Nothing wrong with “upgrading” either. Besides lots of women date guys who are not as attractive as them… I say more power to Michael.

    • Gimma says:

Awww, you two are cute 🙂

  29. lisa2 says:

Awww I wanted to see them all in Cannes..but I think the movie be at TIFF so I have that to hope for.

I really don’t care about who he is dating. Not a Fassfangirl. So get it wherever he wants too.

  30. Hakura says:

Ciara – Is that… a cape? It looks like when little kids play ‘superhero’ & tie bed sheets around their neck for a ‘cape’.

Amber P – This is so sad. Gary is BSing reasons so he won’t have to take Leah to prison. But he hadn’t even offered to do a video visitation, which isn’t fair at all, not to Amber OR Leah.

Victoria J – Short shorts + boots = Leann Rimes. Avoid it.

Justin B – I know that’d have my pants on floor.

Tom Daly Piglet – OMFG look at him!! he doesn’t even look real, like a stuffed animal! I just want to put him in my jacket & steal him. Ridiculously cute! I wonder how big they get?

Paris – She looks like “Eww, he’s touching me, grossss xD

  31. Maria says:

They’re both gorgeous in their own right and talented, plus, she’s funny: I like it.

  32. Zombie Shortcake says:

Holy crap- Are those Leno and Fallon’s real singing voices?

Zombie movies have historically had political subtexts/served as social commentary:
    http://dailyanarchist.com/2013/01/21/political-message-of-the-rising-zombie/

  33. Trudy says:

This man has a type and you have to have some colour to really get his attention! lol

    • Hakura says:

Damn. That throws me right off the possibilities list >_< I have to assume that while 'orange' is a 'color', it wouldn't be what he was looking for, so no tanner could help xD

  34. Maritza says:

They would make a beautiful couple but these celebrites break up as soon as the promotion of their movie is over.
