I’ll be perfectly honest here and admit that even though Lady Gaga has shown herself to be a total monster in her treatment of employees, my heart still went out to her when she was sidelined from touring due to a hip injury. Then when the news arrived that Gaga was having surgery for what turned out to be a labral tear, I winced in empathetic pain for her. I’ve had my own bout with hip and groin pain over the past few months, and there was a time my doctor mentioned the possibility of a labral tear and brought me to tears because that prospect is so scary and requires surgery to correct. Luckily, I just have a good old fashioned muscle tear, and the recovery is still slow going, but I am pulling hard for Gaga to recover fully so she can return to her old obnoxious self in a few months.
Lately, all we’ve seen is Gaga being carted around in gold-plated and Louis Vuitton wheelchairs, but these photos show her getting out on the town a bit for a late night session at Chateau Marmont. Because even when she’s injured, Gaga still feels the need to be seen. Gaga has a new chopped hairdo too! I’m assuming that once she feels better, the extensions and wigs will be back in full force, but I think this new hair makes her look very vulnerable. Also, Gaga looks rather wasted, or perhaps that’s the effect of the painkillers.

I agree. If you look closely you can see that the skin about a half inch down from the hair line looks wrong.

I can kind of get on board with the hair, and kind of like it… But the Lindsay Lohan blush lines? Just bad. It’s how old ladies do their make up when they don’t know any better. And it “looks good” from one angle, never from the side.
It’s the SPF in the foundation causing her face to have a white cast in the photo. And the ten layers of powder on top of that!

I think it must be common for people to over-do it with powder, maybe under the impression that it’s thinner than it is so applying layer upon layer of it.

We’ve barely heard of her much lately and I think it’s because she’s been ill and in pain and a LOT of women chop their hair when they have bigger things going on.
Her fingernails look like hell.
She hasn’t even been keeping up with basic manicures.
I’m not a fan and I think those gazillion dollar wheelchairs were freakin’ ridiculous but I think she’s ill and is probably afraid that her last 15 minutes are up AND she’s young.

Obviously surgery isn’t to be taken on a whim, but honestly, I and at least half my friends and relatives have had numerous bone, hip, tendon, etc. surgery, repair, replacements, etc. It’s done every day and it’s not that big of a deal! You just do it, you feel better and you move on! She’s been a major whiner about this.
I don’t think she’s in so much pain. She is probably in massive angst and withdrawal because she can’t stand not working, and I think that’s her real problem, not the surgery.
Some people don’t know what difficulty is. They only know the simple and shielded lives they’ve lived and have no concept of how hard life can really be….
Withdrawal is a good point I didn’t think about. Not just the withdrawal from performing & the public eye, but probably various substances that would now be off-limits (could combine horribly with pain meds she’s likely using), plus the upcoming surgery.
It’ll be interesting to see what she’s like in withdrawal, probably a different person xD
Isn’t this surgery done already? Never saw such a huge to-do over a relatively simple procedure that stretched out for months and months. cheeze.
Ya, I agree with you. Also, I saw photos of her not too long ago where she left the gym to do yoga IN HEELS.
So she can’t be in THAT much pain.
My boyfriend had this surgery about a month ago and is a healthy 24 year old otherwise. It isnt to be taken lightly. The aftermath really takes a toll on his energy, self esteem, and mood. It’s hard to go from a world tour to barley moving and trying to prevent long term injury after a major surgery. He has 3 more months of rehabilitation. I can’t imagine her restrictions

She looks like she is in a great deal of pain~sometimes painkillers aren’t enough to really effectively deal with pain. Is that Tara Reid driving??!!

Don’t forget, she also has Lupus and any stress to the immune system (like surgery) can cause an auto-immune system disease to flare up.
I’m far from her biggest fan, but I do hope she’s doing OK and resting enough to let her body heal.

I can’t stand her, but the haircut is really cute and flattering on her face, and she’s gotten really good plastic surgery. I would love her surgeon’s number (and the thousands of dollars he probably charges).

She never was that good except in pr; here’s a radical thought: maybe if she spent as much time trying to make actually decent music, instead of all these pr stunts, her 15 minutes wouldn’t be winding down; Who’s going to listen to her in 20/30 yrs. Hell, People, Hell and Angels a posthumous Jimi Hendrix release came out in March and went to No.1 on billboard, Dead for 43 yrs. and he still has a huge worldwide following; this trick will be lucky if she makes it to VH1’s where are they now.

When it comes to Gaga, I ‘ve come to assum everything is a publicity stunt, everything has a (money-making) angle, every photo is a pose and her entire existence is choreographed, save for those rare moments in which no camera or recording device is present. Yes, some of her tunes are catchy; most are like deja vu for anyone over 40. I find nothing genuine or original about this woman and am baffled by those who think she is. Avant garde has been done before.
