Consider these photos of Kim Kardashian some kind of palate cleanser after yesterday’s pics of Kim in Houston, wearing that absolutely awful, too-tight black dress and those crazy Givenchy shoes. While the dress in these photos – taken in NYC yesterday – isn’t all that flattering or cute or anything, at least it’s not way, way too revealing. I really don’t understand why she can’t (or won’t) just wear comfortable clothes and flip-flops. Ugh.
The dude behind Kim is her BFF Jonathan Cheban. I don’t know what Jonathan does for a living, but I guess he’s probably paid by Kardashian, INC in some capacity. He basically just follows Kim around and he’s incredibly annoying. She probably spends more time with Jonathan than with Kanye West.
These photos should also serve as a preview of coming attractions – Kim will be on the Met Gala red carpet tonight with Kanye West. Kanye is performing, and Anna Wintour has “allowed” Kanye to bring Kim as his date. Just take a moment and let your imagination wander… what will Kim wear to the Met Gala? For sure, it will be a hot mess. It’s going to be epic.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life’s sources claim that Kanye and Kim are “in no rush to marry” despite reports to the contrary. A source claims, “The last thing Kim wants to do is turn around and plan a wedding and all that right after having a baby… All they’re doing is taking it one day at a time. They’ll get to that stage at some point but right now they got a lot on their plate.” And all Kim can think about these days is how much she hates being pregnant, according to the source: “Kim can’t wait to give birth. She’s had a miserable pregnancy. She literally can’t wait to pop that little thing out.” Poor Kim. But surely she realizes that she’s making it worse by wearing such uncomfortable, unflattering clothes and flying all over the world week after week?

Her pregnancy has been miserable, I would imagine, because she can’t just give it up and wear appropriately sized clothing even for a second. Lanvin doesn’t make maternity clothes. I don’t feel sorry for her if she’s turning those (ugly to begin with) Givenchy heels into sausage casing for her already swollen feet. The Met will be a train wreck of epic proportions.
She is also flying every where. She’s been in 5 cities within a week, Mykonos, Paris, London, Houstona and now New York. She has only herself to blame if her pregnancy is/was miserable. I was a teacher (on my feet most of the day) during my pregnancies. Went home at night and sat down and relaxed. She doesn’t seem to take time to smell the roses, so to speak. Her choice, just don’t complain about it.

If you believe reports and Kim’s own opening up about her “infertility”, she and Kanye used IVF to get pregnant. If her infertility is in fact real (and with her, who knows?) you would think she would, Idk, be GRATEFUL to have even gotten pregnant instead of bitching about it every chance she gets. I’m kind of glad that she hasn’t had the most comfortable pregnancy though; in a way, it’s like the universe is telling her that once you become a parent, it stops being all about you and what you want and feel 24/7. Thank God she’s learning it a little bit before the baby arrives 🙁

@Patrice – According to the show Kim had NO infertility issues. The very last episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians Kim tags along with Khloe to see a fertility specialist and while Khloe gets bad news that she isn’t ovulating Kim prances her big a** in front of her sister while she gets great news that she is fine and has ZERO issues. Proving again how cruel, insensitive and just darn selfish she is. Now fast forward just a few months to the Kim and Kourtnery Take Miami show. The very first episode Kim supposedly has fertility issues and a fertility body of a 50 year-old. I guess we are supposed to pretend that last episode just a few months prior didn’t really happen. This episode was obviously thrown in there to make the pregnancy look like an accident/unplanned pregnancy with Kanye when in reality it was very calculate by Kim and Pimp Mama Kris.

I also remember the talk show circuit where she was saying how public khloe was with her fertility issues, but she was so private and in reality her situation was worse than khloe’s. I dont watch their show, but I remember thinking how insensitive it was to compare herself to someone who has still been unsuccessful, when she got pregnant pretty quickly- for anyone. I have never seen someone so detached from their pregnancy, its really quite disturbing.
She’s a narcissist and I will be amazed if Kanye marries her. I get the feeling he enjoyed the chase but he seems over her and her drama, baby or no.

I detest the sheer leg look — no matter how expensive the dress and how beautiful the woman — it always looks like Frederick’s of Hollywood to me.
That said, this dress looks more flattering and comfy than almost all of her other maternity clothes. And I like the poofed shoulders on the leather jacket. Paired with the dress the match with a nice vaguely Victorian vibe.

So true. The best dressed people in the world wear everyday wear, the most mundane items like jeans, t-shirts, cardigans, simple dresses, with confidence and a joie de vivre. My style heroes look fab in evening wear, but it’s their casual looks that make them icons, i.e. Audrey Heburn, Tina Chow, Steve McQueen, Miles Davis…
She should put her f**king feet up now and then if she’s that miserable. It’s not like she has to punch a damned time clock, work an assembly line, or cashier at Walmart to make a living like many expectant mothers have to.

I have no sympathy for her. She of all people could have had the most comfortable pregnancy on the planet. She has the money and the means to buy comfortable pregnancy clothes that are also stylish. She could be wearing flats and sneakers rather than heels. She could be resting at home in the lap of luxury for 9 months rather than continuing her job as a fame whore jet setting all over the globe. I think for the first few months she’s going to try and prove everyone wrong – that she is a good mother. Once she gets tired of it, she’ll go back to doing what she always does – never stays home. Most other celebs we have heard about the nurseries, feeling the baby kick, baby showers, etc. Not with her. And please don’t tell me they are trying to keep it private.
