@JAn: Don’t you just love it? I think it’s hilarious that people eat up all the goofy contrived pictures of them all over People smiling and laughing at nothing. “Oh look, they’re just like us. They laugh at the same jokes we do! Aren’t they grand?” You people need to stop drinking the cool-aid.

I love that we get to read stories like this about the Bidens, and see pics of the Obamas actually spending quality time (gasp!) with their daughters. And I agree with lunachick, Sasha and Malia seem very well-adjusted. Watch them during Obama’s speeches–the crowd may be going wild, but they just stand there with these expressions like, “What’s the big deal? It’s just Dad!”

I LOVE that we have leaders now who are both brilliant AND unpretentious.

The Bidens just seem happy to be Americans – they don’t act like they’re better than the rest of us.

Love the Obamas’ girls as well – Sasha and Malia just seem like great, grounded children.

I think that just made them even more adorable in my book. First the puppy business and now this.

I dig the Bidens.

And I dig date night.

I’ll admit, had I been there, I would’ve been bugeyed. My weakness is politics and damn, I love meeting me some great politicians. But…to be fair, most Americans don’t give a flying rat’s ass about politics and the like.

Well they didnt ask for the theater to shut down for the night or act like they were special and demand a viewing. They are out and about like a married couple the only give away was the SS guy who wasnt exactly making ti well known who they were. I give them credit for acting like you or I ..if sold out you find something else to do .
