Columbian press reporting Marc came alone. Maybe the babies have colds (better not to fly). They said Marc just asked for a very warm room, a vaporizer, and lots of fruits and veggies. They like traveling with relatives like Jen’s sister; they watch each other’s babies. In Europe last year, they didn’t have to hire anyone.

I live in Colombia, more specifically in Cartagena and people here dont fear of “being kidnapped”. Not because there isnt such a problem in our country but in Cartagena that is not a common issue. Its located in the coast and I can assure you one of the safest cities in the country (unlike the capital, Bogota). Plus in the area where theyll be staying its is very very safe. I understand why you would think that and given that is Colombia (and you probably just know its bad history) and they are celebrities I understand their high level security.

i spent a month in Bogota some years ago. guests of the hotel were discouraged from leaving the hotel after sundown. the front door was literally locked for our protection. hence i understand the need for security.

lovely country and lovely people though. y la comida…ay! que rica.

Finally!! I’ve found my calling!

I’ve spent four years earning my degrees at a top University. . . only to find out I’m now qualified to change poopy diapers and be berated by JLo, in English and Spanish! Huzzah! (Honestly, I think my six years of Spanish will go a lot farther than hers.)

Sorry Sue for the misunderstanding, I was just reinforcing the correct spelling of the place, not its danger as a destination. It is a dangerous place but I wouldn’t think bilingual assistants are really going to be much of a help in terms of personal security.

Lopez has vanity furs up the wazoo so I expect consideration of the environment is not a priority of hers.
