Tori Spelling doesn’t plan on getting pregnant again, but ‘you never know’

Tori Spelling

Here are some photos of Tori Spelling with her four kids (and Lea Porter, below) at a Mother’s Day luncheon over the weekend. Don’t your arms just ache at the sight of Tori holding both Hattie (19 months) and Finn (9 months) at the same time? Her poor body has been through so much after giving birth to four kids in the space of five years, and if I was her, I’d definitely close up the shop after the very rough pregnancy she suffered through with her youngest child … especially after she became pregnant again just two months after giving birth to Hattie. As a result of the quick turnaround and three prior c-sections, Tori suffered nine instances of “massive internal bleeding,” which should scare any woman off any subsequent pregnancies. Seriously, ouch.

For her part, Tori tells Life & Style that she certainly doesn’t plan on getting pregnant ever again, but it doesn’t sound like she’s sold on the subject. She does admit that she misses being pregnant and wants more kids, but I think she realizes her body has had enough. Hopefully, anyway:

After four kids in five years, Tori Spelling is giving her body a permanent break. In a new interview with Life & Style, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress admits she’s done getting pregnant.

“I’m not going to be going through another pregnancy,” she told Life & Style at the Helping Hands of Los Angeles Mother’s Day luncheon on Friday. “I don’t plan on it.”

In August, the actress faced life-threatening pregnancy complications when giving birth to baby boy Finn. She suffered from placenta previa, in which the placenta covers the opening of the cervix. The condition was likely caused from her previous C-sections she had with her three other children — Liam, 6, Stella, 4, and Hattie, 19 months — with husband Dean McDermott.

“After the pregnancy I went through with Finn, he will forever be my baby,” she confides to Life & Style. Though she’s decided not to have any more kids, the 40-year-old admits, “I’m sure I’m always going to want more because I love the whole feeling of being pregnant and having your babies.”

The complications with Finn had her on bed rest for almost two months in the hospital last summer, which caused her to miss out on special family moments.

“I missed Liam’s preschool graduation, Stella’s 4th birthday party, Hattie’s first word,” she revealed on Good Morning America in December, adding, “With Finn, I definitely appreciate every second more with him.”

As for adding onto her brood, Tori’s not counting adoption out in the future. “Maybe. I have a such a full house right now – a happy house,” she tells Life & Style. “I’m blessed with the four I have so I want to enjoy what I have. You never know what the future holds, but I’m happy at the moment.”

Okay, so it sounds like Tori’s open to adoption, but I hope she and Dean are using some form of birth control (vasectomy, anyone?) to prevent any “accidents.” Tori doesn’t need another risky pregnancy because her kids need her to stick around for a very long future! She really does look like she loves being a mom.

Don’t plan on it? Really? You could have just gotten your tubes tied if you wanted. It’s 2013, people, there are no unplanned pregnancies. If semen goes into your vagina you can get pregnant.

Yeah i was going to say something similar.. i dont think the word unplanned or even accident in most cases is proper terminology if you dont use anything. Sure the man can slip up but thats obviously something that could happen 🙂

That second oldest, the daughter on the right, does NOT look happy. Poor girl. Lost amongst the babies…

    Hattie is a little cutie.
Anyway I hope she is really done this time, it really seems like her body suffered a lot. Oh and she should ease on the make-up, get more light colours Tori.

You know…I actually kind of like her. But, where her eyebrows run off to?

  4. JL says:

She’s not a raving beauty or even a great actress. She does appear to be a very good mom.

She was referring to adoption for another child, more power to her.

I love it she hates she missed milestones in her kids lives, and cares that she did. How many in her neighborhood rely on a report from the nanny for first words, school events etc….

She nearly got me to write a super-bitchy comment.
    I’m leaving

Cannot express enough my nausea over the cheek implant fad.

That’s what it is! I was wondering what she had done to get that “lion” like face. I think maybe she ought to consider getting her tubes tied. That husband of hers is a horn-dog.

  7. Lauren says:

That Hattie is a total doll! Absolutely precious!

Her children are really adorable. I understand missing that feeling of being pregnant, but I think it’s probably best to focus on the four children you do have. From a gossip standpoint, I think about how similar, and yet how different their situation is to that of Leann Rhimes. They basically had identical situations, yet Tori came out of hers without everyone hating on her. I think the way they both dealt with their situations was very different though.

    • bridget says:

Tori came out better because Dean was adopting a kid. For some reason that’s more acceptable to just walk away from. Yuck.

      • Happymom says:

He did have an older, biological child with his first wife, and they had just adopted a baby.

I certainly support her right to choose the medical care that’s best for her, but clearly multiple C sections in a short amount of time is not good for you. I’m pretty sure that with how badly her last onewent her OB eouwould strongly suggest that she not get pregnant again. Seriously folks, if you don’t need a C section don’t do it!

Wow, she looks really great in these photos–makeup and everything suits her! What a good mom!

  11. mac says:

That looks like that ridiculous dress kim kardashian wore a while back in the last picture.

    • Viv says:

Yep that’s the dress. That’s what it looks like when someone wears it in the right size. Shocking.

Donna Martin forever, but I never really cared for Tori Spelling until I read her books, she’s alright.

  13. wonderwoman21 says:

Ok reading scary birth stories while pregnant…no bueno.

  14. TheTruthHurts says:

God, her children are gorgeous. Who is their mother?

Sorry Tori, I couldn’t resist. Close up shop because what is most important now is your health. God forbid you get pregnant again and something happens to the baby AND you because your uterus was not strong enough to handle the pregnancy. Be safe. You have enough kids, just love them & Dean now.

  15. KellyinSeattle says:

She seems like a really sweet woman to me, but why does she continually dye her hair that awful platinum color? She’s had it for so long…would be nice to see a new color, and softer makeup. Nice little family they have!

  16. duncecap says:

I disagree with the comments about her looking good. I think the quick turnaround of one pregnancy after another, the health scares, and intense dieting have taken a toll on her and it shows. Plus with all that makeup on her she looks like death warmed over. Another pregnancy might kill her. Am I being alarmist? I can’t tell right now.
