Problem is her mom and dad have infantilized her so bad now she has no choice but to concede this so she can get her "career" back on track. Maybe she should really try this time instead of falling back on past fame like she's doing now. I'm also not saying 28 is old, but is anybody really going to care about her and her "professional reputation" when she's 35 and still hiccuping through her pop recordings? Who will still really listen to her music? I'm one of the people who thinks this comeback is a huge joke - she will never be what she was before - a teen idol. I'm glad she is doing better mentally and I don't wish her ill, I sincerely hope she can straighten her life out and have a happy life with her sons - but I can't help but cringe when I hear people say stuff like "she's back!" It's wishful thinking across the board. What she was before was the highest paid exotic dancer in American history, so for her, I don't think she should even TRY to "come back" to that - she should aim for something bigger, better and different. And to boot, we haven't heard a peep from that scumbag lawyer Kaplan in ages, so I feel some sort of deal, pertaining to the kids, has already been worked out. My only concern is that it seems she's sort of over the whole lip-synching thing and just wants to be with her kids doing what us regular moms do, so if one last tour is what can bring that about, then I hope she handles it well.
