Brandi Glanville admits she had ‘liquid nose job’ (she has fillers in her nose!)

I sometimes come upon a story of plastic surgery, and I’m left with more questions than answers. I was aware that there were different kinds of nose jobs and nose reparations and such. Like, when you’ve done too much blow, your nose collapses and you can get a “shield graft” and it’s like the doctor putting a little piece of something in your nose to hold everything together. I thought that was the weirdest nose job thing I’ve ever heard of. Until now. Brandi Glanville is admitting that she went in – and continues to go in to maintain it – for a “liquid nose job”. The hell?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has revealed she has had a ‘liquid nose job’. The 40-year-old underwent the procedure – which requires regular top-ups – after breaking her nose in 2009.

The non-surgical treatment, which has become popular in recent years, changes the shape of the nose using injectable fillers rather than an operation. It’s often used to camouflage a bump by either filling below and sometimes above it.

She tells America’s Life&Style magazine: ‘I got a liquid nose job after I broke it. A doctor has to replace the fillers in it periodically. But I haven’t had anything else done to my face.’

Except, of course, Botox – which she first got during her mid twenties – and fillers in her cheeks.

‘I’ve been getting injections since I was 25,’ she admits. ‘I had Botox back in 2002. I prefer movement in my face. That’s why I only do Botox twice a year now.’

She adds: ‘I have that hollow area (in cheeks) injected with fillers. And I have acne scars filled sometimes.’

She also underwent a $12,000 ‘vaginal rejuvenation’ and boob job following the birth of her two children Mason and Jake. (She opted for a B-cup because she didn’t want ‘porn-style’ implants.)

The single mother, who has previously complained about struggling to pay her rent, estimates she’s spent more than $30,000 on plastic and cosmetic surgery over the years.

[From The Mail]

I think I get the idea… maybe. It’s not really a nose job in the traditional sense, it’s more like getting “fillers” in an unconventional part of your face. I have a bump on my nose too, but at this point, I’ve accepted it. I actually think I would look weird if I got it fixed through a traditional nose job or “liquid nose job”. You know what I think is kind of funny? That Brandi tries to maintain some kind of “I really don’t get that much work done” kind of stance. Girl, you had a vajayjay rejuv. You get fillers and Botox and liquid nose jobs. You get laser treatments on your hands. And you have bolt-ons. You are not the paragon of naturalness. It’s fine.

Look at the pulling above her eyebrow… Botox, fillers, all visible…The Real Housewives standards of beauty are so …*side-eye*

  2. dahlianoir says:

and still ugly. Money well spent.

  3. judyjudy says:

It’s a shame she’s penniless and struggles to care for her children financially.

    • Jillian says:

Don’t be mean. She was penniless after divorce but she got her shit together and works now.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

      Yup, judyjudy.

She’s “penniless” and HAS to be on a reality TV show because she has “work to put food on the table for her children”…..but somehow could afford the $500 botox injections she’s been getting for the past 15 years.

    • Deanne says:

She hasn’t claimed to be struggling financially for a long time. The “nose Job” was done while she was still married to Eddie Cibrian. They were riding on his motocycle and he accidentally head butted her and broke her nose. That’s when she had it done. The way the original story was written is very misleading. Her devotion to facial fillers is very obvious. I don’t get why people mess with their faces like that. All of the women on RHOB have frozen faces and look bizarre. Must be an LA thing. It’s accepted and expected to jack up your face. I’ll never understand it.

      • Bohemia says:

I don’t see why there needs to be excuses made–“I just got it after my nose was broken, etc.–If the woman wants to inject filler and Botox in her face, more power to her. What is the big deal?

I’ve had fillers and I love them! The trick is finding a talented doctor who doesn’t overdo it. And NOT going to multiple doctors who don’t realize the quack down the street just injected you 3 days ago, lol.

  4. LAK says:

Meh…it’s an LA thing. It’s insidious how a little bit here and there is encouraged. Not necessarily going all the way under the knife. And because they don’t go under the knife, they tell themselves they haven’t had plastic surgery.

Look at Nicole Kidman, who maintains she’s never had work done, but who can’t raise a brow.

    • Kim says:

Sure you see it ALOT more in LA than anywhere (except New York) because of Hollyweird but i find its mostly women who move to LA from other states who go overboard with botox/filler, etc because they have this idea of how a LA/CA woman should look.

  5. virginia5 says:

she needs to have several seats, and stop calling out other housewives about their surgeries.

  6. paola says:

I wonder what these people will do when their five minutes will be over. Some of them are smart enough to save the most if the money for when they’ll go back to be a nobody.. Some others splash the cash as if there was no tomorrow. What will they do when they’ll be in their 60 or 70 with no talent or a job?

    • Joanna says:

IKR? I think that’s how former stars go broke, like that kid from facts of life. they get used to spending money like it grows on trees, then all of a sudden their 15 minutes is up and they’re screwed. they keep spending like they still have the money.

  7. Sullivan says:

    Hideous woman.

    • VioletCrumble says:

I agree. Vain, bitchy, talentless, famewhore. Until a few weeks ago I had never heard of her and don’t watch tv, so know nothing about what she does work-wise (?!). (I learn so much coming on here, though…)

She looks like every other modern “celebrity” – waxen, frozen, shiny, expressionless, utterly fake and ugly. Man, the people who perform these dodgy “enhancements” must be laughing all the way to the bank.

  8. Teresa__Maria says:

Brandi was so pretty just a couple of years ago when she had not messed with her face so much. And I think she would have been beautiful aging naturally, but she has messed it all up now and looks like all the other clowns who claim “I have not really done anything”

    • Dinah says:

She is a parody of her former self now.

She was really beautiful when she was younger & before she froze & OVER- filled her face.
Take a look- why would you change this??:

      http://starcasm.net/archives/119072

      Really a shame.

      • Kim says:

Its that distorted Hollyweird mirror. Some many celebs are better looking before they jack up their faces and it amazes me they dont see how freakish they look now and how much better they looked before: Brandi, Kim K, Nicole Kidman, etc

      • Holden says:

Wow, she was really beautiful and is now well on her way to a cat face.

      • Kath says:

I saw a picture of her from 5-10 years ago (not that long ago, really) and she was absolutely stunning.

Her hair was shoulder-length and darker blonde (no crappy extensions), she was slightly curvier and she was drop-dead gorgeous.

She is only a few years older than me, and I haven’t noticed any particular wrinkles/sagging etc. – and she clearly takes better care of herself than I do! So what gives?

It’s the cheek fillers that are most obvious and fake-looking. (LeAnn obviously also jumped on that train.)

      • Emily C. says:

It’s really sad how all these Hollywood women utterly destroy their faces. And they think that looks better! No, it looks waxen and creepy and destroys their natural beauty. Beauty isn’t something that can be standardized. All they have is a faux prettiness that wrecks every bit of their beauty and makes them look interchangeable. Depressing.

  9. TG says:

Do people really find that attractive? I can’t watch snybofbthe housewives show because everyone is so ugly. I think people look most attractive when they are comfortable with who they are. And I like noses with bumps on them. Too often people get their nose straightened and then they loose that unique and attractive look they had.

    • VioletCrumble says:

And they all look like hideous clones of one another. But they think they look gorgeous. Ick.

  10. hadleyb says:

I never believe celebs when they say they “only” get botox twice or once a year.

It only lasts 3 months, starts wearing off in month 2, slowly but yes in month 2. There is NO WAY it lasts 6 months.

And when they say they say they WANT movement? The key is less units at each visit, not less visits. That gives you movements. You go more often but get less so it looks more real, not plastic like.

As for the nose, well filler can be used for many things. I had some on my chin for a small acne scar, great stuff. I have a small bump on my nose that would get filler to smooth out but it’s not a priority but I would never go as far as to get a nose job for it.

But seriously, celebs and their lies. Unfortunately people believe this shizz.

  11. Jayna says:

She has overdone it on her face fillerwise and botoxwise for a year and it’s made her look harder, older, and now has a meaner look to her face, not soft. She was so much softer and prettier and younger looking the first season of RHOBH when she did less. She looks like Adrienne Maloof’s younger sister now, the one she made fun of for overdoing it, but she’s beginning to have that same plasticized catface look. Yet she pretends she hasn’t done anything more than she did two years ago. A confident woman wouldn’t mess up her face like this. And she apparently doesn’t see it and lives in denial that she looks worse now. It would be sad, but the only funny thing out of it is LeAnn is copying her overuse of fillers and LeAnn looks even harder and odd with those fake cheeks of hers. Too funny.

  12. Patrice says:

Uh, girlfriend had a lot more than a “liquid nose job” to alter it’s shape & appearance which is blantantly obvious if you look at her rarely seen early modeling pics from the 90s when she was still rocking her (mostly) originaly face.

At some point between then and now she had her long somewhat wide/pointy natural nose lopped off for the current shape she sports now. I don’t doubt that she started using fillers in it a few years back as well, but only a scalpel is capable of creating such a drastic shortening/thinning of cartilage & bone. (I really don’t understand why celebs will only admit to some of the work they’ve had done visa vie injectables/fillers but not the actual under-the-knife stuff that they’ve done as well. It’s so bizarre…)

  13. Talie says:

Her lips and cheeks look done to me as well. It’s weird, too, because the Daily Mail posted a photo of how she looked pre-surgery and, uh…she looked great.

  14. lin234 says:

I don’t get why women are still overdoing it with the botox. It seriously doesn’t make you look any younger. There are no lines but it gives the face a waxy, very fake look which somehow makes you look older than if you have wrinkles.
Brandi was a lot prettier when she first started the housewives show and it wasn’t even that long ago. (2 years?)She probably over-analyzed her face on HD tv and decided to get a bunch of work done that she didn’t need in the first place. Shame.

I wish there was a post on Portia de Rossi in Arrested Development – she’s had so much work done, she looks like another person.

    • JennJ says:

I know, I was so sad for Portia.

    • lucy2 says:

I noticed the same thing too, how different Portia looks. I don’t think she looks bad (I love the shorter haircut on her) but she looks…different. And her forehead didn’t move at all.

Brandi’s eyebrows are practically headbands at this point, so I’m not buying she’s had nothing else done. She was pretty to start with, but now she’s getting that weird, over-surgeried generic look they all get.

  15. sonia says:

Doesn’t it seem like the hunger games really is based on reality? Not the killing children on live tv part but the freaky freakiness of the people that live in the city? The pink hair and the ridiculous face piercings and face implants and the obvious separation from beauty yet they keep doing more and more and more…

  16. Rita says:

Personally, I use a little nasal spray and I’m good most the day.

  17. betty says:

At least Brandi is woman enough to admit her beauty enhancements and not try to hide them as someone else who is much younger we know does. Brandi supports her kids and how she spends her money is her business. At least she is working provides for her kids and not depending on a sugar daddy for compensation. You GO BRANDI! live your life your way and let the critics critique.

  18. EverlyO says:

It’s hilarious that she lied on camera & denied having a nose job when Kyle brought it up. Kyle was saying that just because a person doesn’t talk about something (like Brandi having a nose job) it doesn’t mean they are lying- then Brandi LIES about it to her face. Brandi is a famewhore.

    • Sal says:

Um, she didn’t lie. She didn’t have a nose job a la Rhinoplasty where your nose is chiselled and shaped etc. She just had fillers injected in her nose. Having stuff injected in your nose and having an actual nose job are two completely and entirely different things.

      • jane says:

…and a bj is not sex.

      • Sal says:

Ask any Dr if injecting is a nose job. A nose job normally removes something. Filler injections add something. They are two entirely different things. Go ask a Dr. Jane, if a girl performs a blow job but is a virgin, does that mean she lost her virginity giving a blow job? Hello!

  19. Chickie Baby says:

Fillers in her nose…but nothing in her head.

  20. aenflex says:

She’s starting to look like the Joker, circa Nicholson, of course.

  21. Simply Red says:

What did she look like before her 25th bday? I mean geesh she isn’t that beautiful with that crap being done to her face

  22. Laura says:

    Lord Voldemort had a sister?

  23. skuddles says:

She spent 30 k to look like that?

    • Lauren says:

I am so relieved I do not have the financial means or insanity to inject poison into my face (and bloodstream). No one looks better, well-rested or youthful. Just freakish & desperate.

  24. Izzy says:

Am I crazy or can you actually see puncture marks in her right cheek in that last photo? Like three in a row, on the apple of her cheek. Ugh.

  25. april says:

I do like her cheek fillers in most photos where they don’t look so big, but I don’t like what she’s done to her lips.

All that work and she’s still undateable.

  26. pseudanonymous says:

These kinds of nose jobs are surprisingly common in East Asia. I’ve got a Korean friend who was offered a free shot of injectable filler in her nose if she went for eyelid surgery. The Hong Kong actress Tavia Yeung is a really obvious user of injectable fillers in her nose, too.

  27. Gistine says:

I loves me some Botox and I get it in my forehead because I have had deep wrinkles on it since I was a kid. However, my doctor doesn’t put so much in that I am completely devoid of any movement. I still have lines but they are faint, not gone. Her face is way overdone in my opinion and looks ghoulish.

    • Lulu says:

That’s the right way to do it! I’m saving my pennies.

      • Gistine says:

Do it! My advice: get it from a real dermatologist or a real doctor. Don’t go to some “nurse” who does it on the side. I firmly believe you get what you pay for.

  28. Lulu says:

I’m sure this is what Linds had done. Remember her caving in coke nose? Then suddenly she appeared with a normal looking nose.

This procedure has been around for years. I was offered it after surgery that left my nasal cartilage cut in half nearly 15 years ago.

  29. Emily C. says:

Cosmetic surgery invariably makes people look worse. Just, every single time. I’m not talking about reconstructive surgery after an accident or something, but the junk that Brandi and her ilk do. They always, invariably, every time look so much worse. And that stuff is not reversible; you’ve just destroyed your face forever.
