Here are some more photos from last night’s ‘The Sound of Change Live’ concert at Twickenham Stadium in London – I just covered Madonna’s puffy appearance here. As I said in the other post, this event got a really good turnout as far as celebrities go, and this event now has some a historical moment in gossip too: this is the first time that married couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have ever gone to an event together AND POSED TOGETHER. Sort of. Maybe they weren’t really “posing” like on a red carpet, but they didn’t pitch a fit about being seen together either. Historic! I have to say… marriage is agreeing with them. He looks particularly good, doesn’t he? I’m not even a fan, but the haircut is great, he looks less gerbil-y, and it’s all working. One complaint: I’m in love with leather jacket and I actually think it might be a lady’s jacket?

Florence Welch is like the ginger Stevie Nicks (as far as costumes go). I LOVE THIS.
Jennifer Lopez “performed” in yet another skimpy (-ish) outfit. She recently defended her stage outfits and she basically didn’t understand why there was so much fuss about her outfits last week – go here to read.

Ryan is HOT. Blake is annoying as usual. I didn’t really like Jesse J. at first, but I am beginning to really dig her. Florence is a Ginger Goddess! And lastly, I am NOT a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, but her bod is totally rockin’ so I don’t see any problem with her outfits. If I looked like her, I would wear skimpy clothes, too!
I don’t see the hotness with RR. To me, Blake is so much hotter, but if he’s a more interesting/dynamic person than she is, that can make a big different IRL.
But I totally agree on JLo. She’s got the bod for it and the profession for it, so why not? Of course, she’s always been comfortable going skimpy, but many women don’t feel comfortable in their own skin until they’re a little older, so no reason to stop rockin’ it at 40. I love that so many female stars are flaunting their sexuality so much later in life. Makes room for the rest of us.

Eh. I don’t get that vibe. But she is totally hanging on to him as though a gust of wind might come and blow him away.
I get NO Leann vibe at all. I think Blake dresses and acts like she has some class. The polar opposite of Leann. (In fact, I would not be surprised if “Arlena” is actually Leann). Who else would make that comparison?

I’ve never found Reynolds to be particularly good looking, either. The top picture doesn’t do a lot to dispel girbil/rodent comparisons, and it looks like he might be wearing make-up . . ?

If you look closely at the 5th picture where she is alone, it looks as if the original hemline is tucked underneath the dress–meaning that it’s actually a longer dress than how she is currently wearing it.

So, I was at the concert. Here’s the goss.
They didn’t actually pose together at all. Blake introduced Florence – they’re friends – and Ryan snuck out from backstage to watch Florence’s performance with her. They’re actually hiding behind a pair of speakers, here – nobody in the audience could see them, but the stage photographers could.
From what I could see, they were all snuggly and kissy, which was sweet.
HOWEVER. Blake was supposed to read a bit about illiteracy in girls AND SHE KEPT STUMBLING OVER THE WORDS. For god’s sake!!
And Florence acted ridiculously – she kept sweeping her arms in Jesus poses and blessing the audience. No, really. It was absurd.
J.Lo performed with MARY J BLIGE!! Get pictures of their outfits together, it was crazy amazing.

And I think Haim were shafted by Madonnas ‘LISTEN TO ME’ bit – they had the shortest set of the night which is a pity as they were great.
That’s kind of Florence’s thing, she runs and skips around and then strikes poses in her long flowing clothes.

Some of the criticism is ridiculous, especially when it comes to Blake. I like to snark on celebrities as much as anyone on this board, but the hate on Blake is just bizarre. I’ve given up trying to understand it.

I think they make a pretty cute couple myself. His looks don’t do it for me (I prefer him with a beard) but he’s a good looking guy and she’s very pretty imo, with nice hair, good teeth and skin and a slammin’ bod.

This whole concert event is in support of women across the world and yet here on this site women criticizing and berating women Blake or Jlo like some sort of mean girls in junior high school. Why does Blake have to be pretty she’s an actress…she’s attractive enough for her husband that’s all that matters. Her career is fine. So why not celebrate the empowerment of women instead of the constant tearing down.

Um, what in Botox Hell??? RR looks super weird. His face looks like a Madame Tussaud’s double. If that is real leather it could be a Mike and Chris jacket but it looks super thin and almost plastic and two sizes too small. This whole outfit and his face are freaking me out!!

He spoke of using sun screen and he may eat healthy and drink a lot of water, If you see you something else you are looking way too hard. This guy grows facial hair too fast to wear foundation and I looked at his earlier pictures and he does not look too much older than he did in late nineties. His reported weight is just under 200 lbs so for him to photograph at this size. I would suspect he is in pretty good shape.
