Celebrities always try this ‘pointing their cameras at the paparazzi’– they dont realize how goofy they look despite their intentions of making a statement. It just looks childish and weak; and especially since it never works. I am always embarrased to see a celeb doing that… I just find it ridiculous.
It’s a bad use of ‘fight fire with fire’, in a situation where the other persons behavior really cant be changed- its their JOB to take pictures of celebs. Celebs just need to work better at accepting that, for crap’s sake!!!!!

I once saw Jerry Seinfeld get a stick of lip balm and smear it over a photographer’s lens. That’s the most effective way I’ve seen a celebrity deal with a paparazzi – no more photos taken without smashing someone’s camera.
