Brandi Glanville previews her 2nd book ‘Drinking & Dating’ as LeAnn’s album drops

LeAnn Rimes’ new album dropped at midnight. And to celebrate, Brandi Glanville is still giving interviews about everything in her life, which is pretty funny. LeAnn thought she’d have a couple of weeks in the spotlight to herself, but Brandi keeps talking. And tweeting! Here’s Brandi’s latest request/corrections on Twitter:

Brandi has bunions and she doesn’t want people tweeting about her children. Which… yeah, she has a point about that. If only someone would tell the most important Bonus Mom in the World to tone it down about her step-sons, you know? Anyway, Brandi has a new interview with Us Weekly, and it’s basically just a preview of her new book, tentatively titled Drinking and Dating (as a follow-up to Brandi’s bestseller Drinking & Tweeting):

Brandi Glanville is on a roll. Hot on the heels of her New York Times best-seller, Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has signed a deal with HarperOne to write another book, tentatively titled Drinking and Dating.

“I am really excited,” she gushed to Us Weekly in an exclusive interview about the new nonfiction tome, explaining that she started negotiations after her first book became so successful. “It should be out by January or February of next year.”

Like Drinking and Tweeting, Drinking and Dating will be a memoir-type tell-all with personal insights, advice, and juicy details about her love life. There’s no shortage of material to mine there; if anything, there’s enough for a “Drinking and…” trilogy.

“It was hard [to narrow down the focus], because I feel like there is so much going on in my life,” she said. “It is more of a ‘moving on’ kind of guide, and just a relationship guide — like my relationship with my parents, my relationship when I am dating and living in Los Angeles.”

One relationship that won’t get much ink this time around? Her contentious rivalry with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian’s new wife, LeAnn Rimes. Though Glanville plans to include both Cibrian and Rimes in her chapter about co-parenting, she wants the themes of this book to be universal.

“I just want people to relate to me wherever they are,” she told Us. “It’s just [about] going through a breakup and getting to that point where you are ready to move on, and then [about] how all your relationships change after that.”

Fret not, though — Glanville plans to add her own unique spin on everything. “There is a sex chapter, of course. There has to be!” she said, laughing.

“Like my first book, there won’t be any filters. I’m calling it as I see it and not holding anything back, even when I probably should,” she added in a press release about the project. “This second book will be filled with lots of drama, blunders, sordid details, and, of course, hashtags. I’m a bit wiser after having written my first book, but the craziness continues with co-parenting nightmares, exes, boyfriends, parties, sex, drinking, tweeting and everything else that makes my life such an adventure.”

[From Us Weekly]

Well, I’m glad that her book did so well. No shade! I’m glad she has another source of income besides Real Housewives and being paid to party. If she can parlay this mess into a career writing memoir-ish books, good for her. In her first book, didn’t she reference how she “f—ked her way through Europe”? I would enjoy hearing more stories about that! Plus it will just make LeAnn seethe if Brandi truly succeeds.

    Well played Brandi!

  2. marie says:

here’s a thought, how about all of them just quit tweeting.

my first thought when I read the headline was “there’s a 2nd one?!?” Brandi AND LeAnn need each other to stay relevant.

    • Jayna says:

+1. Ding Ding, we have a winner.

    • bowers says:

I agree. They only play off each other for their names somewhere anywhere.

    • Christin says:

Agree. ALL should stop mentioning them. I thought she had a good quote about not complaining when you got everything you wanted. But putting those kids out there and then complaining? Set the example.

    • Sullivan says:

Thank you, Marie, for the voice of reason. B & L could both stop tweeting. Problem solved.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

      Exactly. Simple solution.

I love how she’s “scared” to get her bunions removed but had no problem getting elective surgery on her vadge.

      • Cam S says:

That confuses me also. She will get her vag tightened but she is afraid to go to the foot Doctor?

I’m also not feeling the whole “Don’t talk about my kids” thing when she constantly tweets when she has a problem (she can’t reach them on the phone when they are at Dad’s). Stop tweeting about crap like that and then people won’t feel the need to discuss it.

I like her and sympathize with her, but I question her intelligence. She seems honest and nice, but not the sharpest crayon in the box for sure. She is losing credibility with me.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

I know others have commented that bunion surgery is VERY painful but from what I understand, vadge surgery is no walk in the park either. Also, you risk losing sensitivity down there (!)—that alone would be a reason to not do it.

      • claire says:

Maybe the vadge surgery and pain scared her away. Not that hard to understand if you think it through, eh?

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Mmmmmmmm….No. Definitely not. More likely that she doesn’t want to waste money on something she perceives to be trivial, like feet, when she needs that money to spend on jacking up her body and face.

Seeing as how she’s had her vadge and boobs done, I sincerely doubt she’s scared of pain as a result of elective surgery.

    • moon says:

at least Brandi’s making it pay! LeAnn doesn’t seem to be doing too well out of this career wise.

    • ya says:

I think Brandi needs Leann to stay relevant, but Leann’s career is going down the tubes as a result of all the constant feuding with Brandi. She was much more respected by the public prior to the scandal – I think she needs to stop engaging in the feud if she wants her albums to sell better.

      • Vesper says:

LeAnn is worth $32 million and has been in the business for almost 20 years. I doubt she is overly concerned about the sales especially since she will not be touring. She has made it pretty clear in the last few years that she is focusing on herself and her family (for the first time in her life).

Spitfire has been praised by music critics as her best work ever. At the end of the day that is where the priority should be.

      • ya says:

@Vesper – ya maybe, but this feud has definitely hurt her public image. I bought Spitfire and I think it’s a great album. Hopefully lots of others will do the same – it’s worth a listen.

  3. Jacqueline says:

She was rocking some serious bunions, but I’d never take the time to tweet her about it or call her ugly.

Maybe she should lead the charge by, oh I dunno, not tweeting about her children herself? It isn’t like the picture of his birthday cake needed to be shared with the world…

    • heidi says:

Good luck Brandi, you can’t censure what people on public forums comment on. If you or Leann tweet things or post photos of the boys, expect public commentary. It’s ultra basic.

    • matia says:

My mom had bunion surgery 4 years ago and it still hurts her if she’s on her feet for a long time. Its no joke. She doesn’t recommend it at all and several of her friends say the same thing bc of the pain and long recovery process

      • km says:

Yeah, I’ve got them waaaaay more severely than Brandi. They don’t hurt me now, but my sister-in-law had hers removed. You could barely see them, but she says they hurt worse now than they used to. The only benefit I could see would be more strength and stability for things like yoga.

      • Nina W says:

My Dad’s bunions were crippling him, he had them both fixed and feels great, most important he can walk and exercise again.

    • Elle says:

Exactly. If you don’t want your kids discussed in a public forum, then prove it and stop discussing your kids in a public forum. Simple, no?

  4. Jackie Jormp Jomp (formerly Zelda) says:

None of these people come off as smart at ALL.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Fortunately for them, intelligence is actually frowned upon in Reality TV.

  5. Samigirl says:

Can’t wait for book number 2! I’ll be sure to pre-order it.

Since my little princess can’t return to school until tomorrow (even though she isn’t contagious -_-), and I’m not going to work, we may go to Walmart to see how many CDs are left on the shelves.

    • brin says:

      +1

    • whipmyhair says:

Please do! Or even better take a photo!

    • Jennifer says:

Do people even buy cds anymore? I thought most everyone switched over to downloads when Napster, Itunes, etc… started coming around.

      • Samigirl says:

When it’s an artist I am absolutely CRAZY about, I buy the cd. I like all the liner notes and stuff. But that’s just me!

      • Relli says:

@ Samigirl me too! Plus if its a really great album I like listening to it straight through and having a hard copy just in case.

  6. SmokeyBlues says:

She looks like a skank all the time. And she should really be the one to stop tweeting. Her AND the LeAnn both have major major issues with self esteem, the public, and having any understanding of appropriate adult behavior. I’m so over people glorifying Brandy, she’s nothing but a skank and an attention ho.

  7. Jayna says:

Saint Brandi now. So she wants to punch most of HER BB fans in the face because they are always posting the kids are in danger, poor kids, kids need to be taken away from LeAnn and Eddie, on and on.

Brandi tweets all kinds of stuff that keeps this alive also for pity or passive-aggressively encouraged it because it suited her. Her fans have been posting about feeling bad for her kids lives for a long time and nada from her, as well as others posting that don’t like either of them or her.

And now she wants all of the tweeters carrying on about the birthdays (I guess about LeAnn and her party and bashing her) that Eddie and LeAnn were part of the birthday party, so lay off.

These fame-hos crack me up. Yawn.

  8. virginia5 says:

    I just can’t with Brandi :/

  9. Macey says:

I think she addressed the bunion issue since the Daily Mail decided to dedicate an entire page to her bunions and blisters yesterday. The comments about them were just as mean and catty as the article.
Kind of funny b/c I think she even addressed the issue of not having surgery on them on the dedication page of her book. I always wondered about that since they do look painful and let’s be honest, they’re not a pretty site but then most people’s feet are rather ugly.
I always found it ironic that it seems the people with the ‘ugliest’ feet seem to always have them on display, not just celebs but everywhere. You cant go anywhere without seeing someone’s disgusting feet flopping around in those cheap flip flops.

    • Lulu says:

Probably because it hurts to squeeze your feet into shoes that created the problem in the first
place. If the site of them offends, you can always avert your eyes.

  10. Sherry says:

I enjoyed the first book, mostly because of the gossip surrounding the affair and I wanted to hear Brandi’s side. I don’t feel the same excitement about her second book and probably won’t be buying it. I’ll wait for excerpts to be reporting on in the media.

  11. Marmaduke Sockrocker says:

Unless she’s TRYING to look like Kathi Lee Gifford, she should lay off the fillers….

    • heidi says:

Someone close to Brandi needs to sit her down and tell her what a mess she’s making of her face and to clean up her outbursts before she takes Hollywood’s #1 train wreck position. Too much boozing, partying and general trashiness is getting the better of her years.
Eddie will live on as a skunk in my book but this leaves me wondering if he couldn’t tolerate some of her abrasive, angry, insane personality.

      • Jayna says:

She used to be so pretty and I rarely see what I would call a great photo of her anymore. And the dress was worse than I thought after seeing more photos. The one from the back made her ass look like it was a pancake hanging down to her knees, and her ass is good in her bikinis, not droopy. So just an unflattering dress. But a dress you can change. Her face she seems oblivious to the change. She makes remarks on twitter like I only use a little filler, or something like that, and her fans just tell her she’s beautiful and ignore the haters. I only saw one say, please don’t do any more to your face, Brandi.

But looking at Brandi, she has messed up her face and she keeps overusing the stuff. Then looking at LeAnn in that video posted in the other thread, the one where she’s with Eddie on the red carpet in the beginnng of their relationship and she was the old much cuter LeAnn pre-messing up her face with fillers and botox and her mouth, whatever she’s done and just not attractive now, harder, and it’s sad that both of these women messed up their faces for the worse.

      • Amy Tennant says:

I agree with Jayna, she used to be absolutely beautiful.

    • NorthernGirl_20 says:

I know this is mean I love Brandi but in the one picture I find she is starting to look like Christine Baranski did in the Grinch movie.. Lay off the fillers and such. I don’t know why women in Hollyweird think that looks good yikes!

      • Nick says:

I also agree. I used to think Brandi was gorgeous but lately she is just looking weird and unattractive. Her body is still killer but her face just looks messed with and bloated. She needs to chill and let her face settle.

      • heidi says:

There are more unflattering photos from this bunch in the Daily Mail, which are downright freakish. CB was kind to select the better of the lot.

      • Vesper says:

It’s not just the fillers that are making her look ugly. There is nothing worse for the skin than alcohol and sun and both seem to be a major priority in Brandi’s life. There has been rumors for years that she has a major drinking problem and it shows. She looks 10-15 years older than her age.

  12. lem says:

i really think that tweet was also directed at Leann since all her interviews just dropped/tweets from the birthday party and she mentions the step-sons constantly.

  13. Sleepyjane says:

“she doesn’t want people tweeting about her children. Which… yeah, she has a point about that”

She has a point? I disagree. She’s used her children as pawns for sympathy throughout this whole charade; now everyone needs to stop talking about them because it makes her want to punch people. Riiiight.

    • Debbie says:

Oh please she did not, she talks about her kids on social media that is her right as a mother, personally I wouldn’t but I also wouldn’t join twitter so that’s me. However, her talking about HER kids is very different then random strangers making comments. Also these boys will be able to read that Leanne is being viewed as using them. That only hurts them! She clearly states she doesn’t care if you talk about her or Eddie but leave their children out of it.

That is fair and within her right to request, especially when she asked Leanne herself to limit the tweets. Now do I think she should get off twitter sure but asking people to not tweet about her kids is fair! I mean do you bash the lives of kids on Facebook? Parents post about their kids that doesn’t mean they want the masses to discuss them.

      • claire says:

I thought the statements were odd at first but after reading other perspectives, I see where she is coming from. I myself had noticed that people who hated Leann, and default liked Brandi, were getting out of hand in their Leann rants by calling the kids abused. I can see why seeing that over and over would irk Brandi. Abuse is a strong word for Leann’s inappropriateness.

      • SleepyJane says:

I’m not talking about mothers’ rights here. Just twitter and her skewed expectations.

      • Debbie says:

@claire exactly I see her point and while I think Leanne crosses a lot of lines she to our knowledge abusive she is just a dingbat that doesn’t know boundaries.

@sleepyjane I’m not talking mothers rights I’m talking about people on social media and while I don’t understand putting your kids images or stories out for the world most parents do it, and do it with the expectation that their children’s lives won’t be discussed or attacked. You expect a cute picture or funny story response and no lines are crossed in asking that be the response.

      • Nina W says:

She’s not just chatting to her friends she’s broadcasting to the masses via social media. IF she wants her children left out of it she should stop talking about them or posting photos related to them in such a public forum. I agree that she is choosing to use her kids for her own agenda and since she does that, it is hypocritical to complain about it.

  14. Christin says:

Well, the album reviews are interesting and mostly extreme one way or the other. The personal drama, the quality of her voice… I think the personal drama will overshadow the project and impact sales, but we’ll see. She may end up having to do a Soldier of Love type release, as a mystery artist.

    • Vesper says:

The reviews by music critics have been extremely positive. Every one I have read has said Spitfire is LeAnn’s best work yet. The poor reviews are coming from the people who are unwilling to get over their hatred of LeAnn.

It’s funny, people have no problem listening to music that focusses on promiscuity, drugs and violence or uses profanity, yet some continue to bash one particular artist for an affair that happened four years ago. It’s not like LeAnn is the first musician to cheat on their spouse or sing about adultery.

      • Vesper says:

Just read an article that mentioned Spitfire was released in the UK in April, peaking at No. 3 on the country album chart.

    • ya says:

I haven’t seen any negative reviews of the album.

And her voice is fantastic on it – I think it’s the best she’s ever sounded. She used to have a more nasally tone to her voice when she was younger, which is gone now.

    • Christin says:

Check individual reviews on iTunes, amazon, etc., from the general public. The highest and lowest ratings are getting the most votes, with little in between. Some people seem solely focused on the lyrics from the first songs released, and I will say again that it is puzzling how the pre-release singles were chosen. There were other, less controversial choices, in my opinion.

      • ya says:

I’m sure the really negative ‘user reviews’ on those sites are mainly from the haters who obsess on LR and post and comment on everything about her.

I don’t really know how much longer those haters will have the energy to continue obsessing about LR but who knows.

  15. Skins says:

I like how the paps are trying to take pics of her disgusting feet now. Thats if they can’t get a crotch shot.

  16. janie says:

I wish they would they would both stop!!! It”s not funny.. Grow up! Both of you!

  17. Bonfire Beach says:

She looks like a cross between Kathie Lee Gifford and Dina Lohan. Not a good thing! Stop messing with your face, Brandi. And stop tweeting, too.

  18. Glaughy says:

If I could have her damn body, I could live with the bunions. I never would have noticed them if she hadn’t tweeted about ’em.

    • Amy Tennant says:

We can all have her body if we’re willing to have the surgeries, I reckon. 🙂

      • Vesper says:

Not to mention, starve ourselves. She had more weight on her when she was married and she definitely looked healthier.

      • Nina W says:

She’s always been starving, even when she was married, at least in every photo I have ever seen of her.

    • claire says:

Same here. I never would have noticed them either if Daily Mail hadn’t done a whole story about them.

  19. Amy Tennant says:

I try to love everybody a little, but I find her extremely distasteful. However, if her new book contains a Gerard Butler portapotty chapter, I might have to stand in a bookstore and read it. 😉

    Team Nobody FTW!

  20. ALG says:

Both women look like they’re made from melted plastic. How can anyone do that to their face and think it looks good? Looks very unnatural.

  21. Tina says:

Brandi is really irritating me. Instead of making income by keeping and contributing to this feud she needs to startup her own business like the other housewives!

  22. lucy2 says:

Brandi and Leann are now to the point where they’re getting equal mileage out of all this, equally using innocent kids as publicity pawns, and equally showing their crazy.
In terms of the marriage mess I’m still Team Brandi (and still kind of want to read her first book) but I think she has taken the low road too many times for her to not get called out with Leann in these types of shenanigans.

  23. betty says:

Any woman that can assess her body and know the good and bad but can talk about it earns my kudos. A lot of women don’t have that self confidence and try to play it down. Ugly feet is like an ugly face it is something you cannot always hide. For Brandi critics, Brandi has never used her kids as pawns and sharing achievements like birthdays etc. is what most mothers do. Unlike the bonus mom that have staged paps photos and tweets about them every time Eddie has his custody time . Nothing is pretentious about Brandi, that why most like her she is down to earth and calls it like she sees it. She is brutally honest to a fault. I trust people that are real and not phonies. Brandi has come a long way despite obstacles but she always lands on her feet.

    • Debbie says:

I agree with this to a point, she needs to stop engaging. While I know she is honest there is nothing wrong with not answering a question about Leanne. All she has to do when a magazine asks is say she has not heard her record but she knows she has a great voice so if the lyrics are good it should do great. In that statement she took the high road and even got a small dig maybe not a dig. But she would have looked better and sent Leanne through the roof.

However, and I like her, she does know this will get her attention and she likes the attention. But she has never used her kids and she is completely in bounds to ask people not to comment on them and their lives, because there is a huge difference between saying cute picture or boys are so weird with their gore stuff and I feel sorry for them and their step mother doesn’t care about them only uses them. Huge difference.

      • candigirl says:

Yes! The commenting just makes Brandi look bad. She needs to listen to her publicity mentors and keep herself above all that bickering. She can succeed on her own.

    • Vesper says:

Honest?? LOL. She has been caught in so many lies.

  24. Rita says:

Congrats to Brandi on her second book. The first one was a very refreshing read because of her honesty. I hope the second is the same.

As for What’s Her Name’s album, so predictable. It’s not available on Amazon but it’s in the top 10 on iTunes. Apparently, she doesn’t want it posted on Amazon because she can’t manipulate the rankings. She gets no radio play or large venue play so she has to push her crap on twitter. In two weeks no one will ever hear of it again….hopefully that goes for her as well.

    • ya says:

huh? It is available on Amazon – I bought it there. I’m enjoying the album – it’s very deserving of the great reviews it has received so far.

Honestly I think it would be pretty amazing if a D-list celebrity like Leann could manipulate rankings on itunes…..

  25. Holden says:

If you use “Drinking and…” in two book titles, you might want to evaluate your sobriety.

    • heidi says:

Fortunately she counts Jennifer Gimenez as a friend to tell her if she’s getting off track. Personally, I feel rehab is inching closer and would be beneficial to nip her obvious over-imbibing before it gets out of hand again. She looks tipsy in the Daily Mail pictures.

    • candigirl says:

ITA, and think about the message it sends to your kids. They already have HPV Eddie as one adult role model. She’s better off with a lifestyle line of books like: “Dating and Tweeting” “Dressing and Tweeting” “Dining and Tweeting” “Dieting and Tweeting” “Decorating and Tweeting” etc.
IMO, the best side of Brandi’s personality is her sense of humor, her playfulness and her honesty. She should play to her strengths and not her weakness in the next book title.

  26. Theresa says:

What everyone is witnessing is the continued morphing of a non-entity into a commercial money-generating enterprise. Only due to the development and implementation of things like online gossip websites, facebook, twitter and whatever the latest social media darling of the microsecond do people like Brandi become what we should loosely describe as “successful”. We talk about them, we watch them on TV, we buy their “books”, we consume them. You can’t really whine about the behaviour that you are enjoying watching from the sidelines. They don’t want you not to pay attention, but the only reason you pay attention is if the behaviour is extraordinary…

I do give Brandi a lot of credit for rising from the ashes of a car-wreck of a marriage meltdown and for generating an income that might not have been enjoyed otherwise, but I also think people should give up on hoping she (and all pseudo-celeb/reality “stars”) will ever stop doing what she’s doing.

As long as people are consuming the information being spread and publicized, any organizations or businesses that depend on the masses tuning in will be happy to spur on and encourage a Brandi or a Kardashian, etc etc etc. Having a larger than life personality guarantees that someone (producer) will continue to put a contract in front of you. You’re not their friend, you’re a commodity, a product that generates money. If you can live with that, more power to you.

I don’t begrudge her any success, nor money she makes, because at the end of the day it’s her face she has to look into the mirror and see, and hopefully like what’s looking back. And we all know this “fame” is fleeting. And she probably knows it. She’s got to milk this cash cow for as long as she has it, I just hope she’s socking away most of the money for the long rainy days ahead. Soon enough people will move on to the next train wreck, and Brandi, LR, EC and the whole crazy whack of people involved in this circus will be left with nothing but the sounds of crickets and a lifetime of embarrassing pics, videos and gossip bits floating the ether to forever remind them of how ridiculous it all was.

There’s something to be said for living a small yet anonymous life; you may not enjoy superfluous luxuries but you will also have something so much more meaningful; dignity, self-respect and peace of mind.

  27. RHONYC says:

if she ever wants to saddle up again Gerry Butler in the future, she’d better keep his name out of it. 😉

  28. mayamae says:

That pic of Brandi sitting in the car is probably the least flattering shot I’ve seen on her.

Sometimes I wonder if they manufacture this whole back and forth to stay relevant. How much attention would Brandi or LeAnne get otherwise? LeAnne would just be a has-been and Brandi a never-was.

ETA Or as Marie said above.

  29. april says:

She’s writing a book on dating? Who would date her??? Once she opens her mouth most men would be turned off. Haven’t even seen her pictured with any dates. I can see her in one-night stands only.

    • Vesper says:

Agreed, she is the last person who should be giving advice on dating. Does she really think any man will take her seriously after the sh*t she wrote about a man she was involved with for over a decade (and has children with).

Her views about relationships aren’t exactly healthy. She has admittedly slept around A LOT both before and after her marriage. During her interview with Howard Stern she admitted it was HER idea to bring other women into her relationship with Eddie. In her words, things got “stale” a couple of years into the relationship. She also admitted to dating a much older man for a year (after her divorce) based entirely on the fact that he had money.

It’s an “interesting” interview available on youtube.

      • ya says:

@ Vesper: I’m no Brandi fan, but who cares how many people or who she sleeps with and whether or not she wants to talk about it?

Plus if she wants to bash her ex, I think she’s pretty entitled considering he cheated on her throughout their marriage. I don’t like the implication that she’s to blame for his cheating. I also don’t like that you’re slut-shaming her by judging her sexual activities.

I don’t think either Leann Rimes or Brandi deserve to be judged on their personal indiscretions.

      • heidi says:

Throw in her HPV status and advice to married girlfriends to try a threesome to spice up a marriage. Didn’t she learn from her own failed union that it doesn’t work?! These kind of revelations are turning former supporters off.
Wish she’d get a voice coach to help her lower the pitch so she isn’t so irritating to the ears.

      • Vesper says:

I’m not surprised she is still giving advice about threesomes. According to her interview with Howard Stern, many of her girlfriends do threesomes and their partners watch. Brandi’s threesomes often include one of her girlfriends or a girl one of the couples meet. If they like her she is passed around between the various couples.

Interestingly, with Howard she admitted the action between the women was NOT just above the waist like she claimed earlier. Just ONE MORE inconsistency. Remember, she always gave the impression she was doing threesomes for Eddie, but now admits she was the one who brought it up and she liked the results (hotter sex with Eddie). Eddie was not allowed to participate.

What’s with the slut-shaming? This is the 21st century.

  30. candigirl says:

Leann added more legal charges against Kim Smily and her family. She is obsessed with hurting and bankrupting this special needs teacher and mom of six kids.

    • Macey says:

      what?!? what happened?

I read over on ROL this morning that they both declined each others settlement offers but I dont think it said anything about more charges.
Isnt the trial supposed to be this month?
LR doesnt stand a chance with this. I think she’s just coming up with one thing or another to bury them in legal fees. She knows her case has no merit considering the circumstances. Im just glad with all the new articles that Smiley’s legal fund is getting some help, saw she’s been getting lots of donations lately.

      • candigirl says:

Leann added criminal charges, so, besides the lawsuit going forward in civil court to bankrupt Kim and trying to get Kim’s house, which she bragged about, Leann is now trying to get Kim and her daughter arrested and put in jail. She is the scummiest nastiest celebrity ever, she makes Joan Crawford’s Mommy Dearest Image look good.

      • ya says:

It’s the police and prosecution that charge people criminally – the prosecution decides to file charges if the case is meritorious. There’s no way Leann could have criminal charges filed against someone on her own.

    • Rita says:

It’s a typical move by a desperate plaintiff, to load up as many charges as possible to force the defense into a settlement. Rimes is spending a ton of money on her lawyer who has pressured law enforcement to pursue this case.

Eventually, Rimes will drop it if Kim stays strong and we continue to help her with finances. TeamSmiley!!!!

      • Nina W says:

Leann has no control over what charges prosecutors choose to pursue, if you want to complain about it talk to the DA who authorized it.

    • brin says:

What a miserable excuse for a human being.

    • Relli says:

Good lord, really. Thats really, really low.

    • Macey says:

my word she is truly diabolical.

I just checked ROL and the only they mentioned was that prosecutors were investigating the criminal charges but it didnt look like any charges were filed at this point. I really cant believe all this time and money for this, all b/c LR got caught in one of her many lies. I really hope Smiley has a great lawyer that can expose all the other lies LR has been telling regarding this case.

Someone made a comment on that article that one of the reasons Smiley declined the settlement was b/c they were trying to force her to gives names of other twitter users that were involved. Im guessing that was to add more names to LR’s suit. She looks like such an evil, narcissistic fool for going on about this. I doubt anyone would have even remembered anything about it if it wasnt for this lawsuit.

  31. Jennifer12 says:

I like Brandi for the most part, but she needs to calm the outbursts and think about how she is speaking/tweeting. I get what she’s saying: people are endlessly debating her kids as though they know them. However, many have viewed what Leann does with them and to them with growing alarm. Brandi seems sweet, but not exactly a genius or articulate. She needs to step back in terms of calling stuff out on twitter, like not being able to get hold of them or whatever because putting things in a public forum guarantees a reaction like she gets. She is going to turn a lot of people off, and since she is trying to make her living in the public eye, she needs to start thinking before she talks and thinking about how she is presented. She keeps saying there is no other way for her to make money- probably reasonably true as she was a model and has no education and is middle aged- so if she wants to cement herself career-wise, she needs to THINK and acquire a filter.

  32. Christin says:

After seeing the video someone posted yesterday, I think Eddie should do a reality show. Suggested title: Kharmony or My Life of Kharma. He would be the central character and it should be unscripted. I’m more convinced than ever that the women are just supporting characters. Let them alter their appearance, take digs at each other on social media and whatever else while he grimaces through another day of self-created chaos.

  33. Jayna says:

Well, LeAnn is getting rave reviews for the album from every review article I’ve read so far. Her ego must be over the top, sales or not. She will have the critical acclaim to bask in for her vocals, songs, songwriting, and praising the personal nature of the album. She will be even more smug now and feel validated. LOL

    • heidi says:

On talent alone, it really is very good.

      • apsutter says:

I agree…the songs are quite good and if I didn’t know the story behind them I would happily enjoy her album. However talent alone will no longer save her. The only fans she has left are the ones who act like complete psychos. Le’s narcissism and obvious mental disorders have cost her a two decade long career and her reputation.

      • Jayna says:

Okay. Don’t hate me, I went and bought it on iTunes a little while ago, because I wanted to hear the full album the way it’s made and review it for myself if it’s bad or good. I hated to give her $8 and a sale the first week, but my curiosity was piqued. I usually just like some of her songs from her 20s, but not whole albums of her since I’m not a true country music fan, just some songs from albums of artists that I like their voice. But I downloaded it.

F’k me, but I to admit it’s really terrific. I actually could listen the whole way through, and I’m not usually a big country person on real country songs like especially one on there. It’s upbeat a lot, summer type feel, and then the ballads, but very evenly spaced to keep momentum. It really didn’t make me think of Brandi much at all, to be honest, listening to the whole album and songs running into each other. I guess I’m just not that emotionally connected to the affair or even her adoration of Eddie as I think the marriage will end. You Ruin Me I related to myself, how hard I first fell in love with my husband when we met.

Excellent album. Too bad she doesn’t focus on her career and act like an artist and live her life without her self-inflicted drama, and not be a twitter high-schooler posting ad nauseum about her bonus kids and posting photos of her in a bikini, plus really ruining her face. She lost the softness and expression to her face with all the work.

Also, her older music I can picture the LeAnn I remember from 19 to 26, I guess because of her cover photos on albums where she was so cute. But she’s so altered now and not in a good way and a narcissist, that I can’t even pretend I’m listening to the old LeAnn on the new album.

      • Christin says:

You can hear an extended preview of each song on iTunes. Some of the songs are actually decent. I also saw an interview where they put lyrics on screen as they showed video clips (I assume it is because of enunciation).

They had clips of all the parties involved, and it was amazing how different the women’s faces looked. He has just aged quickly, but the women appear to have messed with their faces. Brandi was incredibly pretty, even more so than I remembered.

    • ya says:

Ya it’s a fantastic album – now that I’ve got the whole album I appreciate it more than when I just initially listened to it via youtube clips. I really like old school country music which is also why I’m enjoying it.

I also really liked the NY Times article on LR – it shows both sides – the great album that she’s created, and the tabloid insanity which she’s also responsible for and which is overshadowing her music. Hopefully now that she’s released this album and is moving on to a new record label, she can put the tabloid feud behind her and focus on her career.

ETA: I also hope she’ll stop using the botox and fillers, but that’s turned into an epidemic among celebrities, and also among pretty much everyone in LA, so I don’t hold out high hopes.

    • Vesper says:

@ Jayna: LeAnn has been singing/performing for almost 20 years and has been very successful at it. She is worth 32 million. I seriously doubt she is looking for validation at this point in her career. LOL.

  34. tabasco says:

WHAT THE HELL happened to her?? She looks emaciated and her face is totally jacked. YIKES. I’m getting Joan Rivers crossed with Dina Lohan crossed with the mangy stray who lives under the bridge.

  35. AAA says:

Yep, The Mis-Fire album drops and the Brandi Bashers are out in force. No surprise.

  36. qtpi says:

If one didn’t know the backstory of the album it could be easier to appreciate it. Many times I can’t understand what she is saying and I have to look up the lyrics online. The same is true of her live performances that I have seen on youtube.

  37. Ming says:

brandi has every right to be upset about her kids being talked about on twitter. and props to her for knowing her beauty weaknesses and not giving a flying f*ck.

leann totally reads this blog and all of the comments..in her latest interviews she addresses a lot of points that people bring up her..
like the idea that she has no one around her willing to tell her to quit with the f*ckery.. in her yahoo! interviews she makes a clear poing to mention that she has 2 sisters that have always kept her in line.

  38. VERSACE says:

Brandi Rocks! In your face LeAnn!

Belated birthday greetings to Jezi. I noticed on one of Brandi’s tweets that she is throwing u a bday party. Sounds like an awesome “twitter” friend. 😉
