We heard a couple of months ago that Ian Ziering, Steve Sanders of the original 90210, was set to make his guest debut as one of the Las Vegas Chippendales troupe. Back then we saw a wet, beefy shirtless pic of Ian and he looked very doable to me, especially for a 49 year-old guy!
Fast forward to now and Ian has lost around 25 pounds in the last three months and it really shows. He made his debut over the weekend with Chippendales Las Vegas. I have to say I was disappointed. His abs are impressive, but he looks more like a Ken doll than a beefcake. TooFab has the details of how much weight Ian lost.
Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Ian Ziering hit the stage with the shirtless hunks of Chippendales this weekend — and he definitely got in shape for his role in the show.
The 49-year-old actor will be a guest host for the Las Vegas show Thursdays through Sundays through June 30 at the Rio.
Ziering dropped an impressive 25 pounds in the last three months for the gig — and was seen working out like crazy — going from 205 to 180 pounds!
Ian is 6′ tall, so he’s still well within the normal range at 180, but he looks so thin to me. It’s like he’s exercised off every spare fat gram. Oh well, I was never a Steve fan anyway. I always wanted to get with Dylan. Plus male strippers never really do it for me. I will say this – he looks the part.

Confession time: Ziering’s Steve Sanders was my #1 crush on 90210. Always love a mischievous brad with a heart of golg (Hot Harry anyone?). These photos are a sad reminder of my age, although for a guy clocking in at half-a-cent old, he looks pretty good!

I care more about the dancers to his left and right — Jaymes and James. They were on The Amazing Rave a couple of seasons ago and they were entertaining, sweet and competitive. Came in second, unfortunately.

There’s something about this that makes me feel really bad for him. His too thin face… the weird look in his eye… the fact that he’s 49… I’m not sure which it is.

How is that attractive? I saw male strippers once and I felt so awkward. Even moreso when I started seeing them around my college campus lol. Just trying to pay tuition!
His abs look good but his neck and face look horrible. Once again, you can’t be this fit/ this thin at this age and think it looks good – men or women. A little extra weight ( and maybe no abs ) looks better than this.
Sorry its the truth we all have to face getting old, its a sad fact. Enjoy your youth because you can’t be super thin, super fit and still have a fantastic face to go along with it forever.

I loved 90210 in its heyday but Steve Sanders just wasn’t a thing to me. However, I did go back and watch the first season last summer (that’s as far as I got, it was far too teenaged and not good) and he was by far to the mid-30’s woman I am now, the most visually appealing male regular on the show. It’s odd how that happens. And now, he looks pretty good too!

All I see is hair plugs/wig, because when he was on BH90210 he was already losing his hair, and his hair line now is very suspicious.
He definately has hair plugs, a waxed chest, overly whitened teeth plus too many hours spent in a tanning bed..note his beet red chest, plus his forehead looks heavily botoxed.
