Duchess Kate wears a ‘dalmatian print’ Hobbes coat to boat christening: fabulous?

Huzzah! Finally, we got these photos. In Southhampton, England today, Duchess Kate made one of her last (if not THE last) public appearances before giving birth. This was a long-scheduled appearance to christen the Royal Princess cruise ship. Can I just say? This is probably my favorite maternity look on Kate so far. The coat is a “Dalmatian print” Hobbes coat which retails for about $265. It’s really great, and it surprises me how good she looks in a bold, monochromatic print. I prefer this kind of style to her (at times) too-fussy, too-mumsy style with all of the lace and florals and pale colors.

Following in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth II and her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, Kate Middleton traveled to Southampton, England, on Thursday, June 13, to name Princess Cruises’ latest ship, the Royal Princess. The pregnant 31-year-old dressed her baby bump in a $265 dalmatian print coat by Hobbs and wore a black fascinator for the occasion. Looking radiant as ever, the Duchess of Cambridge walked the blue carpet as the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Pipe Band of 1st Battalion Irish Guards gave her a musical salute.

The event marked Middleton’s final solo engagement before her maternity leave begins; she is due to give birth on July 11, sources reveal in the June 24 issue of Us Weekly.

Upon her arrival, Middleton shook hands with officials and representatives from the cruise line. After a performance from “Pocketful of Sunshine” singer Natasha Bedingfield, Middleton met two young children. Middleton invited the Rowbotham family, from Milton near Cambridge, to join her for the celebrations; they received care and support from EACH, one of the many charities she supports.

Alie Rowbotham attended the naming ceremony along with her husband, Mick, and their children Izzie, 15, and Charlie, 8. Her son George was diagnosed with a brain tumor in July 2003; she spoke to reporters about the organization and Middleton’s involvement before Thursday’s ceremony. “Izzie and Charlie will be giving the scissors to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge to cut the ribbon,” she said. “We’re all very excited about meeting The Duchess of Cambridge and very proud and honored to be representing EACH. We’re very passionate about the work EACH does with children and their families, having experienced the difference that it makes firsthand.”

She added, “The hospice really is a place for living with so much to offer. George especially loved the sessions in the swimming pool and sensory room. It was a place where he could live, rather than being ill all the time. He had lost his sparkle when he was in hospital but at the hospice he shone again and those memories we will remember forever.”

Middleton later walked to a podium where she smashed a bottle of Moet et Chandon champagne against the hull of the Royal Princess. She then looked on as the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Pipe Band of 1st Battalion Irish Guards staged a colorful parade to round off the christening ceremony. Afterwards, Middleton took a tour of the boat.

The vast cruise ship features a games room, a casino, a spa, a 28-foot glass-bottomed viewing gallery, 10 restaurants and 1,780 luxury staterooms. Despite the ship’s regal name, the vessel was not named after Middleton. Instead, the name was taken from the original Royal Princess ship which launched in 1984 and is no longer in service; Prince William’s late mother christened that liner.

[From Us Weekly]

Enjoy these photos, because this might be the last time we see her during her pregnancy. She’s going on “maternity leave” now. I’m sorry, but that’s still funny to me. Maternity leave isn’t a joke, but the idea that Kate – who has barely made THREE public appearances in the past seven weeks – is only now going to “stop working” and “go on leave” is still ridiculous. At least she’s going out with a bang, though. I really do love this coat. It’s a great and appropriate length too, and Kate’s face looks so much softer with a little bit of extra weight.

her eyeliner is ridiculous. does she even own a mirror…?

    • Tania says:

Agreed. BUT she has finally eased up on the crazy dark blush. One step at a time.

On another note, I am relieved to see that she has put on what appears to be a healthy amount of weight during this pregnancy. Given how scary skinny she was to begin with, I honestly feared she would not nourish herself appropriately.

    • ya says:

haha ya she’s followed in Princess Di’s footsteps with the eyeliner. But the fake tan and dark blush always bothered me way more – she looked so orange it was distracting at her wedding. Looks like she’s toned that part of it down at least.

    • Devon says:

I know people rag on her for her make up but it’s how people wear it here. Lots of black eyeliner, lots of mascara and lots of blush. Kate looks fairly toned down when you compare her to a lot of other British women. When I go shopping along the high street in the rain, and see all the runny make up, I sometimes wonder if I’m going to be washed away in all of the make up women wear here!

      • taxi says:

Lots of women in France do the heavy, dark eyeliner thing too. More common there than smokey eyes.

      • ya says:

True – I watch Lisa Eldridge’s youtube videos on applying makeup – she really loves her blush! Sometimes she puts absolutely a ton on!

  2. Rakattack says:

She’s supposed to be at Trooping of the Colors this weekend, with the rest of the royal family.

  3. gogoGorilla says:

I don’t usually like ANYthing she wears, but I love it! It looks so modern and age-appropriate, even when paired with the frumpy-dumpy blah black pumps.

My only criticism is that it could have looked REALLY banging if she had pinned a royal brooch of some sort to the front. (I love royal jewelry porn.)

    • littlestar says:

Same here, I very rarely like what she wears but this coat is AWESOME! Such a gorgeous print.

    • karen says:

She looks beautiful!! Always does. Tastefully dressed, coiffed hair, Always pleasant and smiles.

  4. dorothy says:

After months of seeing Kim Kardashian stuffed in sausage caseing dresses it’s so refreshing to see a woman that knows how to dress and act like a lady.

    • Belle Epoch says:

Yes! The contrast with KK is hilarious. KK can Botox her face all she wants but she looks like a toad. Kate looks amazing.

      • Spooks says:

Oh come on now. KK is built completely different and it’s much harder for her to dress nicely.

      • bluhare says:

Spooks: Harder, yes. Impossible? No. She should give it a go. 🙂

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        KK doesn’t even TRY though.

The coat is nice-it’s hard to do animal prints tastefully.

  5. mimifarrow says:

She looks like a cow. JUST KIDDING! She looks fabulous, absolutely gorgeous. Pregnancy has suited her very well.

  6. erika says:

    i want that coat!!!

cruella deville is rolling in her grave right now! the antithesis of cruella, kate looks spot on! literally!

  7. Jess says:

She looks a million times prettier now that she’s gained some weight in her face, but I still want to scrub all that hideous eyeliner and striped blush off. There’s no excuse for such bad make-up application these days, not with a bazillion brilliant tutorials floating around.

    • Eleonor says:

Yes I’ve said the same thing many times, she looks better, But probably after the baby will be born she’ll start to starve herself again.

    • Joy says:

I predict after the baby comes she will go right back to being ultra thin.

  8. aims says:

Kate’s shaking it up a little bit! I give the girl props, she has handled her pregnancy well. She has dressed nicely, she looked adorable. I tip my hat to her.

But the “maternity leave;” is hilarious. You’re right Kaiser.

  9. Andrea says:

She looks very pretty. Pregnancy suits her well.

  10. Anna says:

    GLORIOUS!

Duchess Kate (http://hrhduchesskate.blogspot.ru/) posted some pix earlier and included pictures of Diana at a similar event. In the pic, Di is nearly 10 years younger than Kate right now, but dressed 10 years older. I think Kate’s style really blossomed through pregnancy. My only complaint is that there wasnt a single gala/gown appearance for The Royal Bump.

Also, I am still hoping for some Trooping of the Color/Order of the Garter appearances before she goes MIA for 6 months. Fingers crossed!

    • FLORC says:

      Anna

I thought Kate wore a green gown when she went to that awards show to present during the whole weekend of noro virus hospital visit. That was pretty much like a gala considering her appearance didn’t end when she walked off stage. She took forever to show with her long torso though so maybe that’s why you’re not counting it.

And she won’t be MIA for her “maternity leave”. We’ll get pics every other day of her shopping for renovation samples and clothes.

      • Anna says:

Re: the green McQueen – yes, although the baby was on board, it doesnt count as a maternity outfit bc there was no bump, thus no special choices or adjustments. So I guess we’ll have to wait till she’s carrying ‘the spare’ 🙂

Sadly, tho, Kate doesnt put on cute coats and fascinators for her shopping trips 🙁

  11. ladybert62 says:

    Hate the coat!

    Hate the hat!

Looks like she has gained weight in her face.

    • FLORC says:

I hate it too, but the length is appropriate. She’s wearing something underneath the coat and her hair is pulled back a lot because where there’s a boat there’s wind it seems.

She finally looks like she’s eating and I always thought she was prettier and more youthful with a little weight on her. She’s got the face and body that looks much too old when she’s too thin.

      • Sachi says:

She must have considered the location of the event, FLORC, and knew she’d be high up next to the boat:

        http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/13/article-2340898-1A4C68ED000005DC-657_964x636.jpg

See, she does know about slips! 😀

      • FLORC says:

2 things kill me about how Kate dresses. Most things are just a style difference, but these 2 things I can’t understand.
        1. Dress slips! They’re light and breathable, hide panty lines, and spares modesty. I seriously always thought they were staples when wearing dresses.

        2. Always with the skirts and never with dress pants. She does have great legs and in a nice dress suit could show them off along with bending over to talk with kids. I always thought some well tailored dress pants made butts look just better. I would sing her praises if she wore a damn pant suit!

      • Ktx says:

I’ve never worn slips with dresses. No one I know does. I didn’t even know slips were really a thing anymore, at least with people under 50! That said, I usually don’t buy dresses or skirts that aren’t lined.

I agree, FLORC, about the suits. She really should wear some. They’d look classy, modern, chic, and could still show off her figure.

      • Lilix40 says:

        FLORC:

I always thought protocol dictated that royal women couldn’t wear pant suits when in official engagements…

Does anyone know if that’s really the case? I am genuinely curious now!

    • HH says:

I don’t hate it, but I’m not exactly a fan either. I think it’s the all over animal print which is killing it for me. I’m just not a fan of too much animal print in general. I like the hat. She wears hats and fascinators very well. BUT THE MAKEUP!! Wow. I think it’s just a skill the Middleton women don’t have and don’t feel the need to learn.

  12. Sisi says:

meh, I don’t like the neckline an how the sleeves are attached.

The print looks nice in her though, I agree

  13. janie says:

She looks gorgeous! I have always liked her & William together… What a change? A woman who really wants her baby & doesn’t dress in 5″ heels & clothes so tight she can’t breathe. This baby won the gene lottery!

  14. Esti says:

I love most of Kate’s outfits, but this isn’t one of my favorites. Something about the way the pattern sits and the fit of the coat. Apparently this is a non-maternity piece that she bought a size up and had tailored, which I think has worked well with other pieces but less so here.

She looks happy and healthy, though, and like she genuinely enjoyed the occasion.

    • bluhare says:

I don’t know why she can’t wear maternity clothes. They aren’t frumpy and their hemlines don’t ride up in front! That’s my peeve with Kate’s maternity style. Nice outfit and then that front hem is all off.

But I do like the coat.

  15. DanaG says:

I love her in this outfit. For Kate this is very bold and it suits her. She is supposed to be at the Trooping of the Color so we will see her again. One thing we can say is she has coped with her pregnancy and dressed way better then Kim has throughout hers.

  16. Sue says:

    I think she looks great!

  17. teehee says:

Nnnnnoo…. its surprisingly bland despite being a big change for her. For HER. And I am getting a serious “Queen Elizabeth” vibe: ie, she wears the SAME thing, over and over– different color, different hat, but the same basic dress/coat all the time. Boring!
Btw: I hope thier due dates are in fact not the same/and that Kate gets the greater press coverage, just because. I actually wish the KKlan’s alot worse at this point, but i wont say it cos I still want to be able to post on this site 😉

    • DeltaJuliet says:

I hope KK’s baby is born at, like, 9am and then the Royal Baby appears around 2:00 the same day. I can imagine how bummed KK would be to be overshadowed like that.

  18. HappyMom says:

It would have been ever cuter with bright blue shoes-just to shake things up a bit!

    • bluhare says:

She picked the winner in a shoe style contest and got the winning shoes. They were a vivid blue (and she’s never worn them that I know of).

  19. Tiffany says:

So this is what it has boiled down to with this woman. Her clothing. She is married to the second in line to the throne and the bar is set so low that we are praising her for looking age appropriate.

    • Laura says:

I agree. While I enjoy looking at her outfits, that should be a very distant secondary detail when it comes to covering her public appearances.

I couldn’t tell you what charities Kate is associated with or if she has any opinions on anything she is involved in, charity-wise. She comes across as unintelligent, vapid, vain and nothing more than a living mannequin.

People were expecting (or hoping) for Kate to have similar charisma, empathy and ability to capture people’s hearts as Diana did and she doesn’t and likely never will. Diana started out as a shy girl, barely out of her teens, yet even in her early years she caught people’s attention and seem to emit sincere compassion for others.

I do not think Kate will be overly memorable in terms of the history of the royal family. She’ll be noted for giving birth to the heir(s) and wearing nice clothes. That’s about it. She will not have the longevity in people’s memories the way that Diana has. Diana was what the monarchy needed but I think it will be a long time before we see another like her. Possibly Harry will marry a woman with echoes of his mother’s passion for the less fortunate and ambition to be more than a clothes hanger/arm candy for her husband.

      • bluhare says:

I agree, Laura. I used to feel badly for her being compared to Diana all the time, as it didn’t give her much room to carve her own niche, but now, not so much.

William started it with the engagement and That Ring, along with citing Diana every time he doesn’t like something, but I just read today that they’re taking the baby on tour with them next year to Australia and New Zealand. Shades of Diana much?? That was when she made history by taking William on the same tour. No more sympathy from me.

      • nikko says:

Totally agree. Maternity leave??? does she work? I don’t think she has passion for anything except Will. I have never heard her speak.

    • bluhare says:

Thereby making Hilary Mantel’s point, Tiffany. That’s exactly what she said (in a nutshell) when she got that barrage of criticism a little bit ago.

  20. Meaghan says:

I can’t believe Kim would be compared to Kate. I LOVES me some Kate, and don’t understand why there is so much hate for her! She looks adorable, I agree with the shoes, her shoes are usually blah, but the coat is very cute! I wish she’d wear more royal jewels too, shes a minimalist.

    • bluhare says:

Someone may come and correct me but I don’t think she has any royal jewels to wear.

      • mslewis says:

Kate, as wife of the future king has access to the Queen’s jewels and to Diana’s personal jewels. She apparently doesn’t like wearing to much jewelry. Some people are like that (ME!). All of the royal women can choose any jewels they want from the Queen’s personal collection. At least that is what I’ve always understood to be the case.

      • LAK says:

mslewis – Kate does not have access to the Queen’s jewels, personal or state. The Queen has access to the jewels and loans them out to various members as SHE sees fit. Kate can’t just pick and choose what she wants or indeed go to the vault without the Queen’s permission. No member of the family can.

When Kate becomes Queen Consort, if she hasn’t built up her own personal collection, and no one has passed on their personal collection to her, then all she will have access to, are the state jewels, and that’s assuming William puts her in charge of them since they ‘belong’ to the monarch not the consort. And the monarch decides who wears them.

As for Diana’s Jewels, only Diana’s personal collection was inherited by William and Harry, and it is upto them who has the various pieces. So far Kate seems to have the odd piece, but not very much.

That said, i do think that Kate has the beginnings of a spectacular personal collection because we have seen some pieces over the past 2 years.

      • bluhare says:

LAK: I dunno about her having the beginnings of a good collection. What?? She wore a diamond and ruby necklace once that was gorgeous, but mostly she just wears earrings. Am I missing something?

    • tjay says:

Why wouldn’t there be comparisons, between Kate and KK, both are trashy and tacky, both love the camera’s, both got their clothes off, so we’ve seen all their bits. Kate’s worse IMO because at least KK earned her way by working, while Kate just waited around for ten years for a weak Prince to marry her. As far as having Diana’s charisma, that won’t ever happen for Kate, she doesn’t have it. She and William both lack true charisma.
Also The Middleton’s ARE the British version of the Kardashian’s. The Middletons are so loud and tacky, always leaking info and posing for papz.

  21. The Original Mia says:

It’s alright. Not the best thing I’ve seen her in, but not the worst either. And yes, Kaiser, saying she’s going on maternity leave is ridiculous and an insult to women who actually work and need the break to care for their newborns.

  22. Karen says:

She looks like cruella devil’s dream.

Of course we’ll see her and William after the birth. Royals have a photo op as the leave the hospital with their new baby. After that though, only shopping pictures of Kate for months and months.

  23. Karen says:

Of course we will see her and William after the birth. Royals have a photo op as the leave the hospital with their new baby. After that though, only shopping pictures of Kate for months and months.

  24. Decloo says:

I hate this coat. It’s totally shapeless and the pattern is tacky. I never thought Kate would ever look like a mack truck. Will we never be rid of animal prints? It’s very Victoria’s Secret. Yuck!

  25. Lara says:

I’m going to the Trooping of the Colour on Saturday (a perk of working in the House of Lords) can’t wait to see if she’s there!

  26. Justme says:

In addition to the Trooping of the Colour, she will likely be attending a very big society wedding on June 22. The Duke of Northumberland’s daughter is marrying one of Prince William and Prince Harry’s best friends. There are expected to be 500 guests and certainly a lot of photographers.

    • LAK says:

That wedding is going to send the gossip sphere into overdrive if all the gossip-worthy guests show up.

  27. Andrea says:

She looks lovely. Her hair is way too long.

    • Poink517 says:

Agree! She really needs to cut it – she would look MUCH better with a shorter ‘do.

  28. Maggie says:

    So pretty!

  29. Sachi says:

I like the design…but it’s the exact same cut and style as her other coats. Boxy and shapeless. I wish she tied her hair up. In that photo of her with her hair flying back it was almost hitting the man standing next to her.

This coat looks the best on her than the previous coats she wore. And for a fraction of the price!

Red shoes or red purse would have been awesome, though. All black accessories are just too dark for a daytime outfit.

    • bluhare says:

Red bag. Or red hat. That’s my vote.

      • Sachi says:

The red hat she wore in Canada for Canada Day in 2011 would have been great with this outfit.

Just remove the maple leaf. 😀

      • bluhare says:

Agree re the hat, Sachi. Although if the ship goes to Canada she could leave the leaf on.

I just figured it out. Is it because her face is rounder, or does she look more smug these days?

      • Sachi says:

I think she got new teeth, bluhare. 😀 When she smiles, her mouth takes on this sh*t-eating grin that doesn’t reach her eyes.

At the Church service last week, her veneers looked too big for her mouth. In that photo of her sitting beside Harry and her teeth were showing, it was like her upper teeth couldn’t fit inside her mouth and she had an overbite.

Plus, she’s about to give birth to the Messiah. She’ll be fawned over and adored for doing something millions of women do every day. And she’d have 2 more years of doing nothing but shopping and dieting. I imagine she’s pretty smug to have done her “main job”.

      • LAK says:

Sachi – Maple leaf removed and returned to The Queen.

I loved that white dress until i saw the bottom of it. It was all kinds of horrible, and for once it wasn’t the hem length.

      • bluhare says:

Sachi, I’m going to have to look now! I wonder if she was self conscious about that little underbite she has/had? I did see a photo at the church service that looked like her teeth attacked her lower lip; maybe that’s it!

    • Reece says:

Sachi that would require her to have a sense of fashion, to have an actual style and not dress by rote.

    • grace d says:

      Sachi,
I don’t think she got NEW veneers as you suggest, but I must agree that the veneers do make her maniacal smile seem all the more unnatural and forced. They are not appropriately sized for her mouth and look like they belong on someone else.

  30. AmandaPanda says:

Am surprised you guys didn’t pick up more of the photos from the Mail, which show her hair flying madly about and the coat whipping up to show what appears to be a cream slip with the seam showing. Girlfriend can’t figure it out. I also love the slightly unfocused look she gets on her face when she’s pictured having something explained to her – it’s like all that concentration makes her go cross-eyed. Still, she’s a pretty girl, and she’s carrying her pregnancy well.

(I may or may not be a bit snarky because the bloody helicopter flew over AGAIN this morning and woke me up from my precious lie-in after a very late work night last night.)

    • bluhare says:

I saw them AmandaPanda. I found myself wondering if anyone was standing close to the dais/podium thingy. If so, they would have had quite the view.

And I agree with people who think a couple of inches or six off her hair would look really nice.

  31. Ginger says:

I tend to like the fact that Kate dresses in generally affordable fashion and seems classy. Sometimes she’s a bit on the boring side but I’d rather see that than all of the royal hoopla that existed when the boys were little. It seemed we had a new “royal scandal” every week. But I guess for this setting as a gossip site, it’s not good at all. I like Kate’s look here except for the fact that she could put on a little lipstick.

  32. taxi says:

These not-maternity clothes always hike up in the front. I wish she’d wear proper maternity stuff, cut for a bump, with an even hemline.

Other than that, she looks good & will look even better when she cuts a few inches off the hair.

  33. Apsutter says:

Love the coat and pregnancy really suits her! The extra weight really has softenened out her face and she looks much younger now I think. Just look at the 2nd pic down where she is sitting…she doesn’t look like a hard 30 anymore.

  34. Reece says:

There were two women at her wedding that wore THAT SAME coat! But it was deemed “leopard” because it was yellow not B&W. I can’t forget, I remember feeling 3rd person shock because they wore the same outfit to the same event, on TV. I think one of them was Guy Ritchies knocked up gf/wife.

Animal is not my personal choice for anything so I’m not a fan of this. But’ it’s not hideous just not my taste.

  35. Zombie Shortcake says:

The slip showing is better than her a$$ cheeks or hoohaw showing- so that’s an improvement. I like what she’s wearing here.

  36. Meg says:

the picture of her sitting down, she looks soo uncomfortable. like she hates being photographed-she’s not as thin as she normally is but by what? 5 pounds? besides her belly, everything else on her body looks like she might have gained 5 pounds. I’m hoping she’s uncomfortable looking because she’s 8 months pregnant and not because she feels fat. YOURE PREGNANT. not fat. i know she’s criticized by everyone so she’s hypersensitive to any weight gain but come on-i don’t want to see her with an eating disorder like diana-first photots of her sons her legs were as thin as twigs.

    • Lisa says:

She needs to give people something to talk about and admire other than her looks and clothes. Problem solved.

  37. Ally says:

horrible. Sorry, this is the worst she ever dressed. animal prints…meehh

and i´ll say nothing about her make-up and the poor posture…

  38. boredbrit says:

This is by far the fugliest/ tackiest thing I’ve seen her wear. Just because its from Hobbs doesn’t mean it looks good…

  39. Fue McCormick says:

The coat is kind of cute but the look is lacking something that I can’t put my finger on … maybe it’s the hat and shoes. I still think she looks like a frump. In the close-up photo of her she is hunched over and her body bears resemblance to The Queen … a woman 50 years older than her. Her make-up is all wrong and she needs to learn how to apply it. Even if the heavy liner and blush is the way they do it in England (as another posted above stated) she still does not look polished. You can apply heavy make-up and still look polished … and she just misses it every single time! My G-d! The Duchess of Boring!

  40. TheOriginalKitten says:

Man, I just can’t get used to all those crazy hats….I know it’s royal tradition but it looks like she has a saucer stuck to her forehead–so distracting.

She always brings good coat porn and I like this one, but it’s not one I would wear, unlike some of her others…

  41. mslewis says:

Love the coat. She looks lovely, if a bit tired. She’s probably at the point where she’s starting to feel uncomfortable.

It’s nice to see all the usual haters are out in force. It’s fun to guess what will be criticized this time.

    • isobel says:

“haters”???? so if people aren’t gushing and oohing and aahing over this person, they are haters??!! what is this world coming to? You my friend are obviously well-schooled in the art of hyperbole.

    • Lisa says:

      Don’t you mean jelly h8terz?

Kate is harmless. People who bash her must have nothing better to do in their spare time. I mean really? I usaully never comment negative or postive n celeb sites but here what I think. If Willaim had married any other woman, the same folks would be trashing that woman too.
Prince Harry future wife will also get her fair share of this witch hunt too. Even folks bash Michelle Obama for stupid things too. These people here are losers.

Thanks for a great laugh. You must be a Kate fan. Kate fans always think we’re loser jellus h8rs. You might try reading a thread or two where we actually talk HISTORY.

Oh, sorry, I bet that’s too boring.

Ooh! I’ve been waiting for this. My shop made the pillow used for the ceremony!

As for Kate, I think she looks beautiful. I could never pull off dalmation print but she makes it work.

  43. Mel says:

Nope. “Fabulous” is not the word that comes to my mind.

And her choice in hats is usually quite off. Small hats and fascinators worn at that angle – covering the forehead like that – make her look stupid. Literally. As they would make anyone look stupid. Literally.

A wide-brimmed hat can cover the forehead. A small hat cannot. Not unless you want to look stupid.
    Literally.

    🙂

Her hair is fine. Its not that long. I have seen even longer hair then that.
Seriouly can’t stand ppl who tell those with ‘long’ hair that they need to cut it or donate it or something. Just mind your own business ppl.

  45. Thinker says:

As her past behavior has shown, Kate is a drama queen. She had to announce her pregnancy unreasonably early by checking into the hospital and fabricating an extremely serious medical condition. Why? Because clearly she and her family have hired PR, and everyone loves a baby. Nobody talks about how you blatantly blew off commitments to the Paralympics, preferring to skip town to air out your boobs and smoke cigarettes… Nobody talks about that when you’ve got a fragile medical condition and a little heir on the way.

Mark my words, her true due date is probably the one her mother slipped a few weeks ago, late July. By putting an earlier date out there, the press will be speculating, chomping at the bit for days and days, and everyone will be forced to be on high alert for the royal fetus’s imminent arrival. Old Hollywood PR trick. Make them wait. Build the suspense. July 21st or later. Guaranteed.

Please don’t let it be on the date of Chuck & Di’s wedding or Diana’s birthday. PLEASE!!!!!

  46. LahdidahBaby says:

Kaiser, good call on the Hobbes coat. I agree, she looks great. Far better than the “momsy” things of some past events. It’s simple and clean-lined, the tones are subtle and striking at once, and bottom line, SHE is wearing IT, rather than the reverse.

  47. Bee says:

It always looks like shes trying to make her eyes look bigger with the eyeliner, but the application is all wrong. Its actually quite heavy. I must say though, its so refreshing to see a woman in the public eye dressing appropriately for once. Here in America it seems like the only way most women know to be pretty anymore is to be over-the-top sexy (i.e., letting everything hang out.) This woman just exudes class and I hope she turns out to be more of an influence here.

  48. How’s things, awesome web page however there is a problem whereby sometimes I get sent back to the root page when I view other posts within this site.
