Good lord, Kate Upton’s boobs are big. I mean, I knew she was top-heavy, but for some reason I thought she was at most a D-cup. But have they gotten bigger? I think they’ve gotten bigger. I think she’s well into double-Ds and beyond. And before you yell at me and say that there’s no way she got bigger in her 20s – it happened to me. It happens to some women. You think you’re a D-cup at 19 and then at 22 years old, you’re like “OMG, none of my bras fit anymore, what happened?”
Anyway, these are photos of Kate in Westhampton Beach, NY over the past few days. She’s a movie star now – she’s filming The Other Woman with Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz. All of the photos I’ve seen from the set seem very girly and cute – and by that I mean it seems like Leslie and Camy are getting along well and they seem to have taken Kate under their wing. I can only imagine what Leslie had to say when she saw Kate in this white bikini. I bet it was funny.
You know what I like though? I like the booty shot of Kate! I like it because you can see that she actually is a curvy girl, and not “curvy as in she has big boobs and the rest of her is tiny”. Kate has a booty. Kate has some thighs. It’s nice. She looks like a healthy girl who eats. Also: Kate just turned 21 years old last week! Happy belated b-day, Kate.

It is the media again trying to convince us they love all body shapes and curvy is sexy but really they just picked a slightly larger girl with a giant rack and are passing her off as curvy when really, she is not.
I have no idea if hers are fake but well-done silicone implants can absolutely look that real, and they don’t have the bolt-on look of saline implants. This is especially so if the woman already has nice fatty breasts that the implant can hide behind. Look at the implants of women in France, which I think has the highest percentage of breast implants in the world. They look pretty natural.

She has big boobs sure, but her body just isnt’ what I automatically think when somebody says “curvy”. Curvy to me is med-large boobs plus a significant waist to hip ratio, plus round ass and flat tummy, not too jiggly but not excessively skinny. Kate’s built straight up and down and carries any weight in her midsection.
Her boobs & stomach have zero tone to them. They are flabby. There are many beautiful curvy women with toned boobs & stomachs. She is not curvy & she needs to tone up big time. She is way to young to be this untoned.

I certainly wouldn’t call her “fat”…in fact her bmi is probably only around 20 or so and if I saw her in the street I’d probably describe her as slim. Isn’t curvy defined by the ratio of the measurement of the bust vs. waist, and the waist vs. hips? Her waist doesn’t look that much smaller than her bust and hips, so I don’t know that she could be called curvy. Candice Swanepoel is a toothpick compared to Kate, but there’s a big difference between Candice’s waist measurement and her hips, so her body shape looks curvy – Kate’s doesn’t, big bust notwithstanding.
No “Hourglass” is what you are referring to. That is the ratio of bust, waist and hip measurements.
Curvy is more of a reference to the fact that we can’t see every rib and vertebrae.
Thats not the real definition of curvy. Thats how we define it currently because its PC. It’s a nicer way of saying their overweight or have a more plump figure.

Yep, curvy is all about the bust-waist-hip ratio. You can be skinny and curvy, and plus-sized with a straight up and down figure. Weight has nothing to do with it.
Kate doesn’t have a curvy figure, she just has big boobs. She’s actually one of the least curvy models I’ve seen doing the SI, VS circuit. I mean really, it’s in the name. How many actual curves do you see when you look at her silhouette? Without her breasts she has a very narrow, straight as an arrow shape. Not everyone who isn’t a size 0 is comparable to Marilyn Monroe.

I always find it funny that people think a D-cup is big. I have (real fyi) J-cup boobs, and while they’re certainly large, they aren’t remotely Dolly Parton-esque. Lot’s of people seem to think DD is as big as it gets, when really unless you are extremely petite a DD-cup isn’t noticeably big without the help of a great push up bra.
Good Lawd! I was a 34G while breastfeeding (I’m naturally a 34DD) and my back was killing me! Also, people thought I had implants because they looked unnaturally large on my thin frame. One woman actually came up to me and said “those fake t*ts are ridiculous.” 😳 I said “lady, these breasts aren’t fake, they’re nursing boobs…but thanks for the unsolicited opinion.” after that I was completely self conscious about my boobs and thought everyone was silently thinking my breasts were ridiculously huge implants.

Kate has what my grandma used to call double hips where the fat sits both on the hip bone and above the thighs. She said they were the epitome of sexy during her era. I think she’s kind of refreshing in that she doesn’t look like everyone else.

She was probably a little thinner for the shoot. Let’s face it, those models are starving themselves before a bikini shoot. So she’s probably got a few pounds back on. Also, maybe it’s near her period. My boobs get so much fuller during that time of the month.
God it’s annoying when people call Kate Upton fat. I am on the lower end of my BMI, and yet I feel chunky because I’m the dreaded “apple shape” with a poorly defined waist. Size 4, 29″ waist. It sucks to be so self-conscious while naked. It was so cool to see an attractive apple so revered, but reading comments on every kate upton article is disheartening. This is a cute post. My bestie in high school was an apple. She also spent loads of time on the gym building up her thighs and calves to balance herself out. As I said in my previous post, Kate is a bikini model, so judging her body shape is par for the course imo.

I think people use Kate to work out their own insecurities. Why people argue and try SO HARD to convince people that they shouldn’t find her attractive is crazy. Everyone will have different “ideal” figures in their head. There is no reason for people to insult a person because they have a different ideal than what she represents.

If people here are completely unaware of the socialization process they are wittingly and unwittingly subjected to on a day to day basis, they may be more willing to snark on themselves for forgetting that all people have different body types and that only a small portion of women in the world have the body they see on the Victoria’s Secret ad. Seriously, a little metacognition would be nice, here.
I’m pretty sure that the only people slamming her figure are women because every man I know thinks she a hot piece. And I don’t think for one second they would overanalyse her being flabby or a certain shape. Women are their own worst critics but men are happy with women in all shapes and forms.

She isn’t fat, but she does look a bit “skinny fat” – thin, but not fit. She has zero muscle tone/definition on her midsection, arms, or legs.
She doesn’t need to go all Arnold, but some muscle on her arms, legs (especially calves), and midsection would look amazing, and she would look better proportioned.
