I've seen her interviewed on TV and you could see she could not relax at all and was desparate for the ordeal to end. In many of the photographs of her, you can see the anxiety in her eyes. Her smile is forced, she just wants to get away. She's possibly shy, but I think she probably suffers from some social anxiety disorder. To my mind, Renee undoubtedly suffers from anxiety. Being an actor does not mean you're an attention seeker -- Marlon Brando never courted attention. So I have to disagree with those who think Renee should suck it up "just because she's a celebrity". Being a celebrity is not the same as being an actor. I don't like people. My throat closes up when I have to walk into a room filled with my peers. Her hairdo makes her look like a school marm. I think it's great she takes chances. My favorite Rene look was that cranberry colored dress with her jet black hair--I think it was a Carolina Hererra but she looked amazing. This dress, not so much. I find anyone annoying who whines about being in the spotlight (hello, it comes with the "job" of being a celebrity) yet when it's time to make the press rounds to promote your new movie that you want us to watch to make you richer, your argument about the perils of being in the public eye conveniently goes out the window (that goes for George Clooney, Michelle Williams and all of those other annoying celebs who do this annoying stuff).
