YEEZUS. We have several Yeezus stories to get to today, all of them pretty enjoyable. Let’s begin! First off, remember those halcyon pre-Yeezus days when Kanye West drunkenly stage-rushed Taylor Swift and made her cry at the 2009 VMAs? Good times. Well, Kanye had to go on an apology tour after that, and everybody was super-mad at him (even Pres. Obama called him a “jackass”). But as we all suspected, ‘Ye wasn’t really sorry. Next up: did you know Kanye temporarily abandoned Kim and Knorth Kardashian? Truth. He’s been in Milan for a week, working on his new collection. It’s not all bad news – his “capsule collection” of hoodies, jeans and t-shirts for APC sold out in a day earlier this week, so people are interested in Kanye’s stuff:

The “Yeezus” rapper — who received mixed reviews from fashion critics for his past two collections of women’s threads — is now prepping a unisex collection of about 100 pieces, we hear, to be revealed during the fall fashion shows. We’re further told West is again being advised by a team of top designers from hip brands, including his pal Nicola Formichetti of Diesel. West also recently collaborated on a line of hoodies, jeans and T-shirts with French line A.P.C. that sold out after going on sale this week.
The brand’s founder, Jean Touitou, told Style.com of working with West: “When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] ‘kingdom of dopeness,’ it takes some time to just . . . say, ‘OK, agreed, but let’s get started on something limited, and we’ll see.’ ” Oh, Yeezus!
Kingdom of Dopeness? Bless his heart. But ‘Ye is going to have the last laugh when all of his crazy Steve Jobs-meets-Vincent Van Gogh sh-t sells out. For real.
As for Kim and Kanye and whether he’ll ever marry his baby-mama, Radar says Kanye still doesn’t want to put a ring on it:
Kanye West has no plans to marry baby mama, Kim Kardashian, this year, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. Kanye says he is not ready to walk down the aisle with the reality starlet, and the sex tape’s star momager, Kris Jenner, also doesn’t want it to happen anytime soon, Radar is exclusively reporting.
Jenner believes not enough time has passed from Kim’s messy divorce battle with Kris Humphries, several sources revealed to Radar.
“This will be Kim’s third marriage, and Kris doesn’t think the Kardashian brand can handle another divorce,” a family insider said. “Kris would be happy if Kim and Kanye never married because he doesn’t let her call the shots.”
Kanye has his own reasons for not wanting to rush a wedding, one of which is he’s going to be on an international world tour. “Kanye has the perfect out, he can’t marry Kim yet because he is going on world tour later this year,” the insider said. “He loves Kim, but just isn’t sure about marrying into the family. Kim is so close to her mom, and it’s no secret that Kris clashes with Kanye, a lot.”
Another source confirmed Kanye has put off wedding talk and made it clear it simply will not happen this year.
“Kanye think Kris will want a big televised wedding,” the source said. “And he’s really not up for that. He loves Kim but he hates all the scrutiny that comes from being with her. When the photographers follow him, he flips out. Can you imagine him as part of a big televised wedding? It may happen one day but it’s definitely not going to be this year and it’s going to take a lot of persuading to get him to do it.”
The source added that Kris Jenner believes not enough time has passed since the Kris Humphries’ disaster. “Kris might say she doesn’t want them to get married but everyone knows she’s had thoughts about a big wedding on TV and making a fortune from it. But Kim’s marriage to Humphries was such a disaster that Kris knows it is way too soon to even think about pulling off another one.”
If a wedding does happen, “it will definitely be a very small, family affair. It won’t be the over the top nuptials that Kim had when she married Kris Humphries. It absolutely won’t be filmed,” the source added.
I don’t really have any gut-feeling or predictions about this one. Kanye is now and has always been a loose cannon, gossip-wise, meaning he could say or do literally anything and no one would be surprised. I guess I could see Kanye proposing and the two of them having some year-long engagement… and then they would split. But here’s what I don’t buy: that Kris Jenner isn’t trying to make a wedding happen by hook or by crook. Jenner knows that if Kim marries Kanye, that’s the pinnacle of legitimacy for the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

I really don’t see Kanye marrying Kim mainly because I don’t see him agreeing to become a part of the Kardashian Khaos on a full time basis. The way things are now, if he gets really uber fed up with Kim or Kris or whoever, he can just bail. But if he marries Kim, it’s a hell of a lot more complicated.
I don’t blame him one bit for not wanting to put a ring on it.
Agreed – I can’t imagine having my in-laws that involved in my day to day life. Kanye seems like a tortured artist – he wants to go away and work, knowing that he has the love and support of his girl, not the chaos and limelight of the K-Klan.
Marrying into the K-Klan would damage him beyond repair, and he’s already talked about how he stopped being on the show because he couldn’t take the backlash.

Shamed by a woman who got pregnant by him while married to another man, following an absurdly expensive wedding, the only purpose of which was an attempt to earn television ratings rivaling those of the wedding of the future kind of England? Kanye is A-list, whether you like him or no. He is also a legitimate celebrity (i.e., someone with talent). If Kim marries him, (for Kris) that would mean the Klan has “arrived,” in a social/media sense. She thinks it will legitimize them, basically.
It’s not that Kanye is a celebrity. It’s that he’s an artist. Artist = legitimate in reality tv land.

Let’s get over this “Kim had a hard pregnancy”. And it was not a LONG pregnancy. Long pregnancies are those that go 2 weeks past a due date. The only reason she had a “hard” pregnancy is because she refused to slow down, not even a little. She wore tight clothes and shoes that were a mile high – even after her feet were swollen. Travelling the way she did is hard on anyone, much less someone who is pregnant. And let’s not bring up her “miscarriage” scare, because from what I remember it was reported as an ovarian cyst that ruptured.
Oh for crying out loud… Kanye has no relationship with Kim; they messed around, after talking about it for a zillion years, and she got pregnant. Kanye is bi – his real relationship is in Paris, with designer Riccardo Tisci. I don’t know why this is so hard for everyone to accept. His American fan base would never accept an open romance with another man – so he denies, and will continue to do so.
It was hard for me to accept this because I didn’t know about it, but now that I do I’m all over it. Bi or not, I don’t see how anyone with two brain cells to rub together could stand being involved with this Kim idiot – and Kanye seems like someone who thinks he stands for something (and honestly I don’t know enough about him to know whether he really does) but something about his vibe just tells me that the incessant pointlessness of the Kardashian existence is not his cup of tea.
To be honest I don’t care if they marry or not.. the funniest quote on this relationship I heard is from Wendy Williams. She said someone asked her what kind of mother Kim will be. Her answer;

Kanye is a nut. And he is the loose cannon in that Kardashian family. He is not going to play by any established rules. He is not going to “go with the plan”. Kim as she said lives her life in the media. But now that life if forever connected to a nut. And God only knows what will make that nut crack. Kanye is just too unpredictable. You don’t know what he will be fine with or what will make him explode. Kris and Kim I bet are scared shitless.

The only reason the relationship lasted this long was because when the paparazzi started getting super crazy for Kim she had ballooned and was also sick of being in public. I just read the transcript of what Kanye said regarding Taylor Swift and Beyonce, and he admitted that he was upset because Taylor is white and Beyonce is black. So that outburst he made was driven by racist hate.
He also said that Pink got to perform two songs at the VMAs to his zero, because she is white and he is black.
A lot of the people who comment on this site consider Kanye to be an important artist, so I just thought you should know this.
That’s how I interpreted it as well. Now I know most commenters here will disagree, but it wouldn’t shock me at all for Kanye to feel that way. As far as him marrying Kim, I think she was a fantasy for him. Like getting to have sex with a pinup girl you admired. But I’m SURE the reality of it is much different. After he threw shade at Taylor (who I’m no fan of either) for basically not defending his little tirade, I knew then he had jumped the shark.
It wasn’t driven by racist hate. The outburst was driven by adult beverages and an inflated ego. He liked Eminem and he’s white. There seems to be an obssession to prove some sort of reverse racism lately even in the most inane topics.

Ok whatever, Beyonce made a meaningful mark in the (vapid) pop music world at some point…but is it me or does every one of her singles sound the same?? The same vocal styling, the same percussion, the same cadence to the lyrics. Her music is so boring. She may have a decent voice, but it’s just that: decent, not spectacular, not worthy of adoration. When I manage to listen to a few seconds of her music, I hear her bleating away, but she communicates no emotion through her performance. It’s just lifeless notes on an over-produced pop track.
