Miranda Kerr says Orlando Bloom ‘has a bit of a foot fetish’: TMI or cute?

One of the first guys I ever dated had a fetish-type thing about my ears. I was young and I thought it was cute at the time, but looking back on it… it was weird, right? He always told me I had “sexy ears.” Hand to God. Most girls have stories like that about some weird thing, some charming or not-so-charming quirk that a guy has. Sometimes it’s the girls who have a certain fetish – I have a real thing for hands, but is that really a fetish? Anyway, I’ve never really been with a guy who had strong feelings about feet (my feet aren’t all that), but I’ve read that it’s one of the most common fetishes out there. Carlos Danger has a foot fetish. Quentin Tarantino has a foot fetish. Apparently, so does David Boreanaz, Christian Slater and Tommy Lee. And guess who else? Orlando Bloom!

Miranda Kerr is the face of numerous fashion and beauty brands, but it’s the supermodel’s feet that send her husband Orlando Bloom into a tizzy. Speaking to Into the Gloss, the 30-year-old Aussie reveals that her actor husband has the hots for her hooves.

“I’m really a freak about my nails,” Kerr says. “Orlando and I share a nail thing — he has a bit of a foot fetish. I like OPI’s Koala Bear-y on my nails. It’s not organic, but sometimes I just do it.” (Married since 2010, the spouses are parents to son Flynn, 2.)

Kerr doesn’t divulge further details about her husband’s kinky side, but she does explain why she founded her own skincare line, Kora Organics, in 2006; the brand was launched in retail stores and online in 2009.

“I started Kora because I was looking for a certified organic skincare line that gave me results and was aesthetically pleasing. I couldn’t find one,” she says. “I’m not against non-certified products, obviously — I use them all of the time for my job — but I try to minimize my exposure to chemicals. It’s a balance.”

Kerr adds, “Kora is made with love and positivity. My lab in Australia has rose quartz throughout the whole place. The back of my products has the word ‘love,’ ‘joy,’ or ‘peace’ written on them — positive words that give intention to the products. At the end of the day, it’s about being able to get a beauty line out there with integrity that makes a difference to people’s skin.”

[From Us Weekly]

Is Miranda opening Orlando up to ridicule? Or did she not even realize that she was revealing a very interesting quirk of Orlando’s? Is it weird that now I’m much more interested in Orlando and Miranda as a couple? I want to know if she sends him photos of her feet. I want to know if he approves of her footwear on a daily basis. I want to know… everything.

well a foot fetish is better than boning other people behind your husbands back 🙂

    • Lily says:

But there are some rumors about….. Oh.

    • RocketMerry says:

I’m starting to think they might have some kind of arrangement. Mostly because she’s just so careless and free with her “extra” encounters, everybody knows about it. If they do, eh, more power to them, I guess.

I’m starting to really like Orlando, btw. He seems like a doting and sweet father.

    • Mom2two says:

He does seem like a really good Dad. Don’t really care about his “fetishes’.

  2. Sixer says:

I think I have an anti-foot fetish. I had a boyfriend once with horrible toes, and I made him wear his socks to bed in case they touched me (toes, not socks).

    • COW says:

Will she ever stop emasculating him, just to get more press? I remember when the just started dating she was telling the press they had matching pj’s, then she started shilling her Kora shiit and told everybody how he love face masks, and now this?

“I like OPI’s Koala Bear-y on my nails. It’s not organic, but sometimes I just do it.”

She let’s those chemicals (nail polish) according to her touch her healthy, organic-living body? The horror!

      • Demi says:

+1000000000000000 agree with everything you said!!

      • Anna says:

Why is it that it’s OK only for women to like skincare products/procedures, or want to do silly romantic stuff like wear matching PJs/outfits? These things are only ’emasculating’ bc we impose arbitrary standards of masculinity and femininity on ourselves and others.

      • Littlewood says:

She also said she plays submissive to make him feel more like a man and that she had him pee in a bottle when she was in labor because she didn’t allow him to leave the room. I don’t know why his PR keeps allowing this? She should keep her private life private, I’m expecting her to mention he likes to wear her underwear next.

    • Rita says:

May I assume that since there is a scientific correlation between a man’s middle toe and his “thingy”, that you made him wear a “sock” on it as well.

btw- Wiki-Leaks is a completely different topic.

(FYI=There is a therapy program for those with Malformed Dong Phobia)

    • Jayna says:

I was raised on the coast and around really tan surfers. When my first college boyfriend had pale feet, it skeeved me out. I liked him better with socks on. Lol. Now I don’t like really tan men. I have flip-flopped.

    • dena says:

I made him wear his socks to bed in case they touched me (toes, not socks).

Oooh, whew. That’s too funny. Thanks for the laugh.

  3. barhey says:

I love up Kora online out of curiosity and it got very bad reviews. Will not be trying =/

    • disco says:

      and too too TOO expensive!!

    • Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

It is interesting how most of the posters said the product made their skin worse. Witch hazel works wonders for the skin and not expensive.

  4. Lettie says:

Everything Miranda and Orlando do is TMI.

  5. T.Fanty says:

Seeing as she’s describing a nail fetish as liking to paint her nails, while hawking some polish, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that she doesn’t entirely know what “fetish” means.

    • Anna says:

Nearly every guy I’ve been with liked it when I had a cute pedicure. None of them had a foot/nail fetish. This is overblown.

    • Keats says:

Yeah, I’m going to join you on that limb. It’s ok, English is only her first language.

    • NaomiCampbellsPhone says:

Yep that’s what I think too. She’s not the brightest bulb in the box (and poor Legolas is suffering for it!)

  6. Norman Bates' Mother says:

When I first read her comment I thought it was harmless and that it’s not even in the top 10 of the TMI comments she ever made, but after reading what many people on other sites took from this I think it was unnecessary and might have damaged his image a little bit. I don’t know why foot-fetish would be such a controversial thing but what I find interesting is that most comments on JJ and several other blogs were from disgusted people who called him names like gross pervert and who apparently lost respect for him for being a foot-fetishist. Which is weird. I’m an anti-foot-fetishist myself, I hate feet, I refuse to look at them and I’m disgusted by flip-flops but a pervert, really?

    • Maria says:

i agree, there are far worse things out there, too.

i dont think many people know what a fetish is. if a guy likes touching your feet or licking them etc doesnt make him a fetishist. a fetishist is so focused on something that only that will get him off. no regular penetrative sex but just feet will get him off.

    • wonderwoman21 says:

I dont see anything strange about having a thing for feet, i see her comment as mild and innocuous. It’s people’s reactions that are troubling, not her comments.

      • Anna says:

Agreed. Wanting your partner’s nails to look nice does not a foot fetish make. And even if they did…we’re all free to our own kinks, as long as they are consensual and not harmful.

  7. jinni says:

Well it’s better than being known as an armpit licker.

  8. Trek Girl says:

What she said wasn’t a big deal at all. I don’t even think she meant it seriously.

    Cute — I’ll say it’s cute.

  9. juststeph says:

I think in 25 yrs Orlando is going to look just like my dad. That’s all.

  10. Jayna says:

I have a thing for beautiful forearms and hands on men– well, solid arms, but I love when their shirt sleeves are rolled up and that is what I love on my husband. So sexy. Beautiful hands on a man are so sexy – well, if the rest of them are attractive too. But I am not attracted to big muscle-bound guys, that extreme.

    • Bijlee says:

I think thats a pretty common one, the forearm thing amongst women because i know alot of girls that like that. I love it when a guy has his sleeves rolled up and he’s just working or whatever too though! It is attractive.

  11. stellalovejoydiver says:

There are worse fetishes than foot fetishes IMO. Personally I find feet to be really weird looking and one of the most unattractive body parts, but I wouldn´t have an issue if my bf had a foot fetish.

  12. Jen34 says:

How does someone with chipmunk cheeks become a model?

Orlando is so adorable with his son. The foot thing doesn’t bother me, and I am a member of the anti-foot crowd.

    • Trek Girl says:

She has an unusual look, which is something that scouts and employers look for.

That’s why you see models with buck teeth; big or pointy ears; small, large, or oddly shaped lips; wide-set or close-set eyes; really square or rounded jaws; large, small, square, rounded, and heart-shaped foreheads and faces; and other features we don’t usually think would make for a good model. They stand out and compliment whatever is being advertised or shown.

    • Crackberry says:

She’s 175cm tall. I’m a model myself (same height as her). If you’re over 173cm as a female you will be scouted regardless of your face and measurements (unless you’re quite overweight).
If you’re willing to keep your measurements in check you will be signed. It’s not hard.
Height is the most important thing then measurements. Looks are not important to be signed or get high fashion work. Commercial work needs a nice face.

  13. e.non says:

ugh.. why do people feel compelled to reveal such intimate details about themselves.

    that kid is adorable.

    • Crackberry says:

She is a joke in the modeling world so she’s trying to carve a career as a celebrity. If she were a real model she would keep her mouth shut. She just reveals what everyone in the industry thinks of her is true.

    • Bubulle says:

Attention maybe ? Miranda is no longer a VS she needs to pomote herself more than ever.

  14. Crackberry says:

    This made me laugh 🙂

  15. Emily C. says:

There’s nothing weird about a guy having a thing for ears. Sex is inherently weird and funny.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, however, are not. I think they’re trying to make themselves slightly interesting with this. Didn’t work.

  16. mzizkristen says:

    ew feet

  17. xXx says:

    What about Leo, Miranda?

  18. Boromir's Bytch says:

    Run Orlando, run.

  19. diva says:

Models usually have horrible feet from wearing heels. I don’t think his fetish is gross. I personally don’t like feet but to each their own. He could have worst fetishes

  20. Yasmin says:

somebody explain the foot thing to me. feet are weird looking, imo. it’s fine when they’re covered with shoes, and I agree that sometimes a person can have a particularly “attractive” set of feet, but I’m missing the idea that someone can literally get off to feet. how is that normal? people say that you shouldn’t judge. well, no…but there ARE things that a psychologist would say are beyond the normal realm for a healthy sexuality. I wrote a research paper in college about psycho-sexual behavior, and to me, it would seem that the whole foot thing would be indicative of a slight…imbalance? but if it’s as common as everyone says, will someone please tell me why it’s such a “thing”? is it because of porn? i was especially horrified to read on buzzfeed that a lot of those famous guys with foot fetishes had grown up rubbing their mother’s feet. that sounds a little…off. sorry.

  21. tifzlan says:

Feet are the worst. No, seriously. As for me, i have a thing for guys with nice backs! Wouldn’t really count it as a fetish though, but dang, do i appreciate a great-looking, beautifully-shaped back!

  22. Das Spleen says:

    OMG, TMI, IMO, LOL.

  23. Ari says:

ugh i hate when people overshare stuff like this i was perfectly happy not knowing about how much he loves feet ugh

  24. Sully says:

I agree that she was just saying he likes her feet a lot but its probably not a weird, obsessive thing. I might say I have an iliac furrow fetish but really I just admire that part of the male anatomy, like to touch it, etc its possible he’s a freak of course, but I doubt it.

As far as the rumors about Miranda cheating – that’s all it is. Every time there is a picture of her with another man at a public function the rumors start. I wouldn’t put any weight to it unless there is photographic evidence or they split and one tells what went on in their relationship. Remember the hater rule: if there’s no picture, it didn’t happen.
