EW, I think his new stuff is AWFUL! It’s like old fashioned music combined with disco. I really don’t like his voice either.

    • Bijlee says:

The song “mirrors” just really proves how egotistical he is.

And I can’t help but stare, ’cause
I see truth somewhere in your eyes
I can’t ever change without you
You reflect me, I love that about you

I see is him staring into some girls eyes and adjusting his tie, checking his teeth, and his nose hairs in the reflection in her eyes every time I hear this song.

      • Vesta says:

I think your vision of him is mirroring the reality very well 😀

      • lisa2 says:

I thought that song was dedicated to his wife: Jessica.. or was it another song..

      • Bijlee says:

@lisa2 well then I guess we see how Justin views Jessica 😉

      • Prim says:

Maybe it’s that, or maybe it’s the twin he lost. He’s a lone twin right? They can spend their lives searching for that illusive “one” in other peoples’ eyes, especially identical twins who can see their lost twin each time they look in a mirror.

      • Bijlee says:

@Prim …why are you trying to make me feel some sort of sympathy for the man?

i honestly doubt it though. He’s an egotistical moron. It’s always been about him.

  2. MeowuiRose says:

Oh Justin….how far you have fallen. Or maybe it’s me?? My love for you was always so strong (but not as much as my love for JC). Maybe it’s for the best that we part ways. We just want different things. Please know you will always be in my heart….Oh do you have JC number?

  3. Nev says:

Robin Thicke is better. And YUMMIER.

    • Shannon says:

I have to agree. Robin is the sh*t. But I still love Justin. I always will.

    • Apsutter says:

Robin is exponentially better. Good looking, swagger for days, silky voice and doesnt have to use a shitty falsetto constantly, and has a gorgeous wife that he adores.

    • IWantToLiveInNew York says:

No, Robin Thicke is starting to annoy me now on the same level of Justin. That song is now a feminist movement? What?

      http://jezebel.com/robin-thicke-calls-blurred-lines-a-feminist-movement-963743474

His follow up song, Give It 2 U, includes lyrics such as,
      Big d*ck for yah,
let me give it to yah

      • Shannon says:

Here we go again with the rape comments.

It’s about women being liberated. I can see where he’s coming from. Honestly I think he thinks the song is a little more important then it is. It’s a pop song, not any sort of feminist movement, but I get what he’s trying to say.

And he can give me his big d-ck any time he wants. The man is fine as hell.

      • IWantToLiveInNew York says:

What rape comments, I said he thinks its a feminist movement. I think it’s just a song with some naked chicks in the video.

      • Shannon says:

There was a huge thread on here awhile ago about how the song was about rape and blah blah blah. People were outraged by the song and video. I didn’t mean YOU said it. I just figured your post would start the rape comments up again. Thank God it didn’t.

    • vicky says:

+BILLION!! Thank you all for saying this.GAWD Justin is such a biter and his swag is non-existent! He’s a little punk ass. ROBIN THICKE any day!! Anybody remember Jon B. (Someone to Love)? Original white-boy swagger!

    • TG says:

Agree Robin Thicke just has it and JT is all about trying to be perceived a certain way and it fails miserably. Why is no one commenting how JT is copying everything Robin and his crew do? First Robin puts out a controversial “rape” video of naked girls and next thing you know Timberdouche does the same. Pharrell rolled his pant legs up and now Timberdouche is doing the same thing. I just love how Robin, Pharrell and TI just show up so relaxed and cool without any effort and Timberdouche always looks like he is in a costume trying to play somebody else.

  4. Apsutter says:

    Over-rated hack

And I cant help but feel bad for Jodie Sweetin. Classic case of a child actor who’s development became totally arrested when she became famous.

  5. Mela says:

Whoever styled him in this video needs to be fired. Zero sex appeal. Instead of being in control and natural, he was really awkward (just like that weird black bib on his shirt). His Sexy Days seem long gone.

    • ZigZagZoey says:

He probably did it himself. I think he and his wife are horrid dressers!

    • Nessa says:

Did he ever have sex appeal? Maybe from the neck down… And when he dances. Maybe if I watch him dance with a bag over his head!!! But he must not speak a word. Ever. Now I am mildly interested in that…

  6. melina says:

I think Justin’s music is pretty much the same as it was when he first started. We are just over him and his voice and his style. He seems dated these days.

  7. F5 says:

Glad he’s over.. replaced with another Justin with the same Napoleon complex, though. . and that hillbilly face doesn’t help

  8. qtpi says:

Dumb choice of words for this song – “Take back the night” because it only makes me think of the organization with the same name. Are his best days behind him?

  9. lisa2 says:

I have to say that Robin Thicke stole the Summer from JT, Kanye and JZ.. and they could get back in the game. OVER.

Blurred lines killed it. I have to say I dance like a fool when I hear that song.

    • Shannon says:

The ultimate summer jam. I love it!!!

    • ZigZagZoey says:

J Cole is it for me this summer. The guy is AWESOME. Crooked Smile is such an awesome song, as well as Power Trip.
If you haven’t heard Crooked Smile, check it out…It is pro women.

  10. TheOneAndOnlyOnly says:

Glad i’m not a fan of this type of music so I won’t contribute to this snot’s bank account, esp. after the wedding incident where the entertainment was home movies of a homeless person. The amount of money these little pop stars of today can make through numerous avenues, compared to and unavailable to the legends of the 60s/70s, has turned most of them into stunted narcissist.

  11. Reece says:

I’ll say it, playing “Devil’s Advocate” here…who hasn’t ripped off MJ at this point? and that’s Chinatown 🙂 But you know it’s DT Manhattan so he’s “cool”. *eyeroll*
Edit: Meh on the video and song.

    • KAI says:

If you want to see ‘ripped off’ go to youtube and type Bob Fosse and Michael Jackson.

      • Tiffany :) says:

KAI, I think I love you!!!!!!!

It is funny how in recent years the “ripped off” comments only go back as far as artist from the 80s. People forget that the majority of 80s artists were borrowing heavily as well.

  12. Kasia says:

I used to like his tunes (like everybody else circa 2005) but his new stuff is not catchy at all. Yet, I don’t think Robin Thicke will ever outrun JC. Robin Thicke has had one catchy tune so far. Apart from this “Blurred lines” song the rest of his most recent album is crappy…
And “Blurred lines” is in fact a rip off from Marvin Gaye’s old song anyway.

    • Jayna says:

It’s an homage to Marvin Gaye’s Got To Give it Up, not a rip-off. He has talked about that from the beginning, that it was an homage to the song as he loves GTGIU and wanted to reference that sound.

  13. fabgrrl says:

Ug, Jodie Sweetin just makes me sad! Twenty years ago, if you had told me that the ugly, annoying “Michelles” would be famous billionaires while pretty, talented, spunky “Stephanie” would be tabloid fodder, I never would have believed it.

  14. Jayna says:

Robin Thicke forever and a better voice, more full-bodied, sexier. I love R&B. But Justin will always have my heart just a little for the amazing FutureSex/LoveSounds album. Perfection. I don’t know why I’m not getting into the new one, the 20/20 Experience. I thought I was but lost interest. Hopefully, I will come back around to it.

We will see how I feel about Robin’s new album, Blurred Lines. Love the single, but the album is getting so-so reviews. I heard another song from it and loved it. It sounds a little John Legendish in vocal delivery.

  15. Kim1 says:

Team Robin I haven’t liked JT since Superbowl when he threw Janet under the bus.

    • Apsutter says:

YES!!!! That whole incident was disgusting…he just left her out there to to bleed. Showed what he thought of woman during that scandal.

  16. Alexis says:

I mean, old JT was good, new stuff is mediocre. His turn to r&b always struck me as a little miley-esque. Robin Thicke has more respect for and knowledge of his genre, so it is nice to see him get some love.

    • angela says:

As much as I dislike Justin, he is nothing like Miley.

NSYNC was yes a pop group, but they had a lot of R&B tracks. When they opened up for Janet they sang an acapella duet to Stevie Wonder’s Overjoyed. The first song he wrote on No Strings Attached (I’ll Be Good For You) was Teddy Pendergrass esque. So on and so forth.

Miley Cyrus didn’t even know a Jay Z song. Whereas you can see NSYNC dancing to Queen Pen, Timbaland, Aaliyah and Missy Elliott in 1997).

  17. Jayna says:

On the subject of Blurred Lines and Robin, here’s a clip of the performance on the Graham Norton show in the UK and Hayden Panettiere coming on stage and dancing. It was cute. She was a good sport.

  18. only1shmoo says:

JT must also think his drek smells of lavender and freshly baked cinnamon rolls…because he’s that great, uh huh.

  19. LAK says:

Also, the comments are amazing. This is an actual response to Paul Haggis’s letter from someone who is obviously co$:

“””Unfortunately, Paul Haggis is an uninspired hack who pilfers other screenplays such as Cronenbergs superior Crash and works for his own British-Jew-Homosexual communist illegal mobster friends who are even worse than Scientology. So, what we get is another NYLA import media “out of the frying pan and into the fire” media-fiasco campaign from the otherwise unemployable British subject Haggis.

When Hollywood gets cleaned of their real owners and threats is the only big news you’ll ever have to report, HR.”””

  20. krinata says:

I never liked JT even since the ‘N Sync days so I’m all for team Robin. He is a better singer and a better songwriter. So basically JT has always been ripping off MJ; Robin wrote a song for MJ. And MJ did a demo of that song that Robin co-wrote primarily for him, called “Fall Again.” It would’ve made it to MJ’s last album had the song been finished. Robin eventually recorded the song himself with Kenny G. A version of it was also sung by Glenn Lewis in the movie “Maid in Manhattan.” That song makes it to my list of greatest love songs of all time. 🙂

  21. vennie says:

    JT is a dweeb.

  22. Mourning the Death of Music says:

I’m in the minority here, because I like the song.

    • Bina says:

I’m with you! We can’t be alone, JT and Jay-Z’s tour is selling out stadiums. I went to the one in SF and it was amazing! There were a ton of fans of all ages there. Wish I could go again.

  23. A says:

He needs to stop straightening his hair. Let the curls be loose and free Justin…..the only part I used to like about you.

  24. nordicgoddess says:

    optional tiles for this video:
    take back the 7 eleven
    take back the stage
take back the spill i covered with a sharpie on my shirt
take back the last 4 minutes…
    he’s NO BRUNO MARS

  25. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I’m sad for what Nigella is going through, but so glad she had the strength to divorce her horrible, abusive husband. I wish her well.

  26. blaize says:

Ah, a topless Nick Jonas Tweet. A cousin of mine would call that Sexy Male Privilege.

  27. GeeMoney says:

Wow… the JT hate on this site is ridiculously strong. I don’t care what any if y’all say, I love him and his music!

And I’m going to go see him in Baltimore next week. So exciting!

  28. capepopsie says:

Never liked him, this doesn´t change anything. If he could only think of his OWN moves and not copy MJ. The only good thing about this is, that MJ doesn´t have to see this crap, it would probably break his heart. On second thoughts it wouldn´t, because he was such a nice sweet person . .

  29. Mrs. Darcy says:

Am I the only one who hears a blatant Jamiroquai ripoff in this song? I’ve never been a fan of the pipsqueak personally. As for Robin Thicke, I just don’t get it. He’s slimy…and related to Alan Thicke, I don’t get how anyone could think him hot, shudder.

  30. Yelly says:

You know he wishes he was on the Blurred Lines track. He’s probably crying himself to sleep every night. The summer was stolen from him.

  31. aaquarius74 says:

I think Robin Thicke is so much funkier now. And I agree with Mrs Darcy, there’s a Jamiroquai legacy in here. Jamiroquai is a legend as he alone maintained the funky groove in the 90’s when everyone was into grunge.

Now in 2013 it’s like everyone wants to be the new Kool and the Gang or Chic (check out the new Daft Punk). Timberlake was ahead in 2000’s, he’s now behind. MJ still rocks by the way, he’s the main mentor for KPop male idols, so Timberlake have to watch the Asian side because he’s no longer the leader in here….

Sorry for my poor english… french excuses.

  32. dave says:

I saw him and Jay-Z at the Candlestick Park last week, loved the show!
