One month ago (or so), Robert Pattinson was photographed by X17 in LA. He was driving his truck and a lady was in the front seat with him. At first the lady was unidentified, but then some people claimed it was Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley (and granddaughter of Elvis). Riley’s rep went to Gossip Cop and said that Riley and Sparkles were NOT dating. Although now that I’m looking back on it… the rep didn’t deny that it was Riley in Rob’s car. Anyway, some sites went with Gossip Cop’s denial and some sites didn’t. Like, Hollywood Life has been running endless stories about Rob and Riley like they’ve been hooking up this whole time. And guess what? They probably have been.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson might be soul mates in the movies, but in real life, Pattinson has a new leading lady. As revealed in the Aug. 5 issue of Us Weekly, the Twilight actor, 27, has been “hanging out and hooking up” with longtime pal Riley Keough, whom he met through her mom, Lisa Marie Presley.
“She’s the first girl he’s liked since Kristen,” one insider says of Keough, 24, the granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley. “[They’re] having a lot of fun.”
Keough, who appeared with Pattinson’s ex Stewart in 2010’s The Runaways, was most recently linked to her Magic Mike costar Alex Pettyfer. (She even sported an engagement ring from the actor for a short time in 2012.)
Pattinson, meanwhile, ended his tumultuous four-year relationship with Stewart back in May, after struggling to get over her July 2012 fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. “He really put her through the ringer,” a source told Us after their breakup. “Ultimately, it was like, ‘Either we move past this or we don’t. It wasn’t good for either of them.”
Hanging out with Keough, on the other hand, could be just what Pattinson needs to get his groove back and regain his footing in the dating world. “He’s scared of meeting anyone new,” an insider told Us shortly after his split from Stewart. “So many people are after him for the wrong reasons.”
I know the Twihards will demand their Twihard Proof of this dangerous liaison, but I don’t have any convincing Twihard Proof. All I can tell you is that from what I’ve seen, Us Weekly has solid sources within Team K-Stew AND Team Sparkles. Us Weekly got the tip that Kristen was fooling around with Rupert Sanders last year, and they followed up and got one of the biggest exclusives of the year. Us Weekly also got some really good exclusives on Kristen and Rob getting back together and their breakup. I’m saying that I think this story is for real. Rob is banging Riley Keough. And he probably has been for at least a month. And when Riley’s rep went to Gossip Cop, it really was some damage control on Riley’s part, because she didn’t want to be attacked by roaming bands of Twihards.

Twi-hards & tabloids will have to get over it. Both seemed to have moved on. My friend went to a screening at LACMA a few days ago and saw KStew there. Apparently she is super, super skinny in real life and her hair looked clean for once. Anyway, apparently she and Emile Hirsch stuck by each other’s sides for most of the night…Interesting. Maybe they are just friends, but who knows? Both are single. I was surprised I didn’t see it in Just Jared, but then again I don’t read a lot of gossip blogs on a regular basis so maybe it was somewhere else.
I read a couple of tweets that Kristen had gone to support Emile and that they hung out together. AS for Rob, I hope he is banging Riley. They really would look good together and I don’t think she has much drama around her. If I was 20 years younger, I would be standing in line myself.

Twihards and kstans need to get over it. The craziest fans right now are the kstans. I know twihards who only know they broke up, but are not really following the gossip anymore. The obsessed fans are the kstans. They just don’t want to admit that their lady messed up so bad that she lost everything she had.
To me it’s very satisfying to see Kristen and Rupert lose everything they had. It’s awesome seeing people get exactly what they deserve. And seeing Liberty and Rob move on to better people is amazing.
Really? People make mistakes. I’m not a fan of anyone mentioned here, but I do know it’s easy to sit on our high horse when we haven’t yet found ourselves in a similar situation. No one ever expects to find one’s self in life-ruining circumstances, you lose your head sometimes.
Really? To me the rob and Kristen break up was sad. He really love her and she got caught up with a charasmatic / creepy older man with a power over her ( HER DIRECTOR ) and was crucified for it. I believe their romance was real and was sad it ended that way.
Emile and Kristen were co-stars in “Into The Wild”, they’ve probably been good friends ever since. A little OT, I always think Emile is quite talented but has been unlucky since the Speed Racer disaster. Looks like he got rave reviews in “Prince of avalanche”. I hope this will be a redeeming point of his career.
After seeing the 1Direction stan anger directed at the GQ UK, the whole idea of being the focus of crazy fans is frightening! Since Riley is already famous, at least she will have some security protections in place.

This whole thing is so strange. I thought the Katy rumors seemed more legit than this, but US Weekly keeps sticking to their guns even after her rep denied it.
She and Kristen and their mutual friends were all papped together eating dinner after Kristen and Rob broke up. I think she and Kristen have been papped together other times, too, and have been friends for a while. I know Gossip Cop is publicist central, but they said something like Riley and Kristen are really close friends and have been for a while and that seems odd for Riley’s publicist to say if the Rob and Riley thing is true.
That said, I have to admit this US Weekly thing sounds like the publicists are laying the ground for a “sanitized” roll out. Riley and Rob likely met through Kristen, since supposedly they were friends even before they did The Runaways. All of the sudden they met through Lisa Marie? Hmmm. It seems like a less messy version of how they met. Saying they met through her Mom is less messy than saying they met through his ex who is her close friend.
US seems sure. If they have a solid source somewhere, Riley’s game might be to deny for as long as possible to avoid backlash, and see if the relationship is actually going anywhere, and then re-strategizing if need be. If they break up tomorrow, she’s in the clear. If they’re still together months from now, a simple “Riley wanted to avoid backlash from fans and be sure of the relationship before any confirmation” would appease most people.
IA with you…The fact that US Weekly keeps running this even after her publicist went around town denying it to everyone is interesting. Sparkle stans are going to kill me for saying this, but here it goes. It seems like RPattz has a pattern of finding jump offs who are his ex’s friends. Nikki Reed, Kristen Stewart, and Riley Keough. Riley’s publicist told Gossip Cop that Riley and Kristen were long term and close friends. I guess Nikki and Kristen kissed and made up because I saw something on Just Jared a few weeks ago where she was talking about how much she loved Kristen and didn’t mention anyone else from Twilight. Whole situation is messy though. Kristen can’t get mad because of last year though, so she’ll have to deal.

In real life, the beginnings of relationships can be so murky. Like that feeling of do I “like” this guy or do I REALLY like this guy. I can’t imagine being pressured from the outside world, rumors about being head over heels even if you are just getting to know someone. That would suck.

Riley and Katy Perry rumors make me inclined to believe that KStew and RPattz had an unconventional relationship. I honestly think both these ladies were banging RPattz before the big breakup. I think KStew was either aware of it or part of the fun threesomes. I think the fun has continued without Kristen which is a serious no-no in the threesome handbook.
For me this would also explain RPattz initial response to the mini cooper incident. The offence was in getting caught rather than the actual mini coopering but then in the end the public humiliation was too much for him. @Monty. Ted supposedly has a new job lined up and will talk about it on twitter soon. Apparently Universal owns E!, and Universal was also the one that was releasing the new Bourne film with Renner right before Ted accidentally outed him. He definitely got fired for outing Renner despite what he has said, based on the timing and his departure. I do think he was “paid off” too.

Us Weekly is not Star or Life & Style. But they’re not People either. They will work with publicists but they will not sell out or hush a story if they have good scoop. They have very reliable sources and pretty much everything they print these days is true.
I totally believe them on this and like you said, they’re deciding how to roll out the story telling people they met through Lisa Marie. We all know they know each other for a while through Kristen. Now people will start wondering if they fooled around before. Like, way before Rob and Kristen had issues.
If this is true, Rob is really aiming at hurting Kristen. You just don’t go after your ex’s friends.

The same could be said for US Weekly. First and foremost, they are a tabloid who do get it wrong many times with not only Robert and Kristen stories but other celebrities too. Robert and Kristen aren’t giving the tabloids much material to work with these days. So, it’s either recycle old stories or trust a bad source with no other proof other than their word. They know any headline with Robert or Kristen’s names in it are guaranteed to sell more magazines and garner more hits to their site.
Kristen is busy working on her new film and has a new puppy. She’s been papped with a few fans while eating out and at the Joan Jett concert. That’s it. Nothing suggesting a new romance. Robert is on a short filming break from MTTS which will start up again soon in LA. He’s been more visible with his social outings recently, even hanging out with a few female friends but nothing salacious. He even attended a party with a friend with models in attendance but only one picture emerged of Robert and he’s posing with the middle-aged guy who threw the party. Not one flirty picture of him with any of the models even though a lot of pictures from the party were released. Sia, Katy Perry and Riley all laughed off and publicly denied romantic hook ups with him, stating they have a platonic friendship with Robert, nothing beyond that. As for Sarah Gadon, he hasn’t been seen with her since Cosmopolis promotion wrapped last year and those times were professional in nature only.
Bottom line, the tabloids have nothing salacious to write about. They’re either recycling their old stories or they have false insiders providing false information to them. It wouldn’t be the first time overly invested “fans” with agendas have passed on lies to the media about Robert and Kristen.
Re: Nikki. I read somewhere that Nikki finds Rob to be a pathological liar – can’t recall the interview nor the Mag – but I think it may have been circa the time she met her now husband – a runner up on American Idol ( sorta has a Rod Stewart characteristic to his voice & singing). But, I digress. In that interview when Nikki was supposed to dish on her relationships in Twilight on set, she made a half attempt at diplomacy in trying to stick to only positives. I call them half attempts because any compliments paid to each member of the cast carried some kinda’ back slap, i.e., saying Rob Patz was devastatingly good looking and she was highly entertained by his storytelling abilities. He could keep going on and on; she loved how she could always separate reality or truth from his ”stories’. Very diggish way of admitting you appraise someone as a liar while they have no idea you are on to them. What she did with her statements is insinuate he was a deceitful heartbreaker. Clearly she was not over it or over him and something definitely happened b/c he did something she perceived as a betrayal. But she did it in such an arguably insidious and cunning manner to dodge any true consequences for possibly tarnishing the ever so ethical, romantic Edward Cullen. It’s a good thing she’s happily married otherwise now that the franchise is over, she does not have to bite her tongue.
Nikki seems to be very happy with her husband Paul. She has had plenty of time and interviews if she wanted to bash Rob. It seems to be over for her and she has moved on with her husband.
Riley always seems sweet but also like a fun party girl. Its like he’s dating kristen again but where she’s always in a rare good mood

PR is about image. A good agent knows how to be an effective spin doctor. Depending on the moment’s prerogative – it could be to keep the client’s name & face in the papers so to speak…or reinvent…or protect…

I think Rob and Riley are attracted to each other and seeing where it will go. Riley is a very pretty version of Kristen; Kristen isn’t unattractive, but she is not a beauty, and Riley is. And she seems more mature than Kristen.

Riley was with Kristen’s friends at the Joan Jett concert last night. One of her best friends CJ posted a picture if Riley. CJ has defended both Kristen and Riley in this mess. I think he is a good guy and I doubt he and Kristen’s other friends would be hanging around Riley if she was sleeping with Rob. Kristen was also sighted last night at the Joan Jett concert so I am sure she was hanging out with Riley, C J and their friends. I highly doubt Kristen would be friends with Riley if Riley was sleeping with Rob.

At no point have Rob and Kristen been hanging out together . It seems to me that Rob is on a mission to get hooked up with as many girls as possible. I don’t buy this Riley story, first off because it’s been denied 1000 times, and I don’t think Rob would hook up with his ex’s friend since he seems like a decent guy. Also, she was engaged to Pettyfer, who is the complete opposite of Rob – if she was into Pettyfer, no way she would be into Rob. Riley got pulled into this ridiculous story because she has red hair – that’s the sum total of evidence they are involved.

Us has a decent track record; even the GossipCop denial of this story yesterday acknowledged they’re right more than wrong. Us really seems to have some legit sources in Kristen’s and/or Rob’s camps. They were right on with the cheating story and this last breakup. Like I said, time will tell, but Us is buckling down on this story. It sounds like they have a really credible source on this one.
I find it amusing that no one believes Riley herself, or looks at the complete absence of evidence, but instead believes a tabloid story from a tabloid that may have been right some of the time. Wasn’t it USWeekly that said Rob was going to be in the royal wedding? Gossip cop acknowledges USWeekly is better than most but they certainly aren’t above using questionable sources or embellishing stories.
Okay, I’ll say this again: I don’t totally buy this story, and time will tell if there’s truth to it. All I was pointing out is that you are completely dismissing Us, even though they have had reliable sources in the Robsten camp previously. They DID break the cheating story, they had info about Rob and Kristen working things out, and they were right there when things ended for (what seems like) good. It’s silly to say Us has no credibility whatsoever.
Oh, and celebs lie all the time when it suits their wants and/or image. If I were Riley, I’d lie through my teeth, too, because that girl had a village of delusional Rob fans ready to hunt her down after it was reported she was the girl in the truck with him. All I’m saying is, it could have been her in the truck, they could be hooking up, they could be just friends, but…celebs aren’t always the most truthful, you know?

Those were shippers or Robsten fans who are completely invested in Bella and Edward being together forever and Kristen’s fans who are ready to lash out at Rob and anyone around him for having the audacity to dump their girl. At this point the Rob’s fans seem to be rooting for him to hook up with someone, really anyone, else to make the shippers give up their delusions and move on.
The pap who follows and stalks Kristen on a regular basis replied to US weekly yesterday on twitter when this story broke. He said this rumor isn’t true. He added Rob and Riley have not been seen together. Then he added that Riley is “doing the nasty with Alex P”. And he said Rob is single and is mingling. He is a scumbag pap, but I found it interesting that he was so adamant about letting US Weekly know that their story was not true.
Riley herself denied the Robert rumors from her twitter account. She’s also close to Jared Eng from Just Jared. He mentioned at his site that the rumors weren’t true either. Riley’s spokesperson denied it twice now and even stated that Riley wasn’t photographed the weekend the picture in question was taken.
I did see a picture taken of Riley and Alex from last week. Funny, no pictures or even an eyewitness account of Robert and Riley together even though he has been seen with out in public lots of female friends lately. The only pictures of Robert and Riley in the same frame were taken at Kristen’s birthday party. Riley brought Nick Hoult as her date to Kristen’s party. The two dated briefly before Nick headed back to X-Men filming in Montreal which reunited him with Jennifer Lawrence, both professionally and romantically.
Riley and Kristen are still very close and friendly. Last week they were at a mutual friend’s birthday party and just last night both girls were at the Joan Jett concert with a bunch of their friends. Actually Riley has been seen with Kristen lately, not Robert.
All the eyewitness accounts and pap pics have never mentioned Riley hanging out with Robert. If anything, Robert has been spending a lot of time with Sia lately. I doubt it’s romantic, more like good friends with a love for music and mutual friends hanging out.
And these Sarah Gadon stories are even more far fetched. I don’t even think he had a scene with her in MTTS when he spend a week filming in Toronto recently. I haven’t heard any talk that Sarah has even been on set yet to film. The woman he was seen hugging and kissing in Toronto was a crew member from the MTTS set. Robert, Cait Cronenberg, Mia W and Jesse E had a wrap dinner for Rob the night before he left Toronto. He also hugged Cait and Mia but the media is focusing on this crew member because nobody knows anything about her. It looked like friendly good bye hugs and kisses after a nice dinner, nothing more. And please don’t disrespect Cait Cronenberg who is engaged and planning her upcoming wedding. She’s not hooking up with Robert.
US Weekly is becoming more like Hollywood Life every time they publish a ridiculous story like this. I think it’s also very arrogant of them considering Riley and her spokesperson have denied these baseless rumors.
Wonder who the media will declare as Robert’s next hook up of the moment? The clerk at Ralph’s (“Look, their hands touched when he handed her his money and he smiled at her when he left!”) or the random chick standing next to him at CM (“Look, his baseball cap brushed against her hoodie!”) or another good friend who happens to be female. Don’t laugh, it will happen again.

Thanks for the heads up on that. There are so many trolls on twitter these days claiming to be “insiders” on Robert and Kristen, it’s hard to tell who is telling the truth. So many “insiders” contacting the media with nothing but lies. I don’t understand what these losers gain from spreading lies about famous celebrities.

There are so many Robsten fans out there who are so convinced that Rob and Kristen are together or that they’re meant to be, that they’ll stoop to whatever means necessary to make others believe they’re together or on a break and not pursuing hookups/relationships with anyone else. And there are a lot of gullible people out there who just believe it because they want it to be true. It’s kind of scary but par for the course with the Robsten shippers.

I haven’t seen much of Sarah, only pics of her laughing with Rob while filming Cosmopolis and having fun on red carpets with her costars. I haven’t seen this icy side I guess. Really, when I think of her, I think of her laughing while filming the diner scene in Cosmopolis, and I have seen the movie, and the laughing isn’t part of the script. She didn’t jump out at me as icy. Guarded about not stirring up rumors while he was dating Kristen, sure. But not icy.

You’re dismissing everyone out of hand because they don’t fit into these pigeonholed little types you’ve created. Riley wouldn’t date Rob because she dated Alex, so Rob is clearly not her type. Rob wouldn’t date Sarah Gadon because you decided she’s cold and that’s not his type. Speculate away, because it’s fun and that’s what we’re all here for, but don’t you have more to offer than “not his type”?
What I have to offer is the complete lack of evidence suggesting he is hooking up with either one of these girls. A red head in a truck, and costars in a movie, and that’s about it. The rest is just my observations of the times we see them, which is why I always say “it seems”, or “I think”.
He and Sarah actually seemed rather standoff-ish to each other, did you see the behind the scenes footage of their photoshoot in Cannes? Again, this is my observation, does that count at typing someone?
I hope he gets with Sarah. She’s beautiful and classy and has a brighter future than Kristen. So this could be a better power couple too. Kristen thiught Rob needed her for everything. He can upgrade any time. She? Not so much.

Not too inclined to believe this at this point – this week, he’s linked to Sia, Sarah Gadon AND Riley, I think he’s still at that stage post-break-up where he’s going to be linked to anyone that he spends more than five minutes with. Just like Kristen was linked to that guy she sat next to at the Chanel show and his wife walked the runway. Whoever Rob dates, I just hope he has the good sense to confirm whether or not they’re dating and leave it at that, not that are-they-aren’t-they crap he and Kristen played for years – that guarantees an increased interest.
I think keep them guessing was totally Kristen’s doing. Rob would have been so proud to walk with her down the red carpet holding hands, showing everyone they were a couple but Kristen wouldn’t have it, always saying what was hers was private. Too many times Rob reached for her hand when he wasn’t supposed to. I am so glad he is out of that relationship for he deserves to have a woman that will love him in public.

This is true. This is the second round of Riley/Rob stories. There would almost have to be something there for Us to pursue it after a publicist’s denial, right? Why else would they run it? It’s not like Riley Keough is super famous. Most people don’t know what she’s acted in or who she is, aside from her being Elvis’ granddaughter.
Why is Riley hanging out more with Kristen than Robert? Where was Riley at Beyonce and Jay Z’s recent concerts? Rob was seen at both and he was papped leaving Jay Z’s concert and getting into the same car as Kristen’s close friend Gina and her boyfriend. If Robert and Riley are dating, why not a double date? Instead, Robert was hanging out with Sia at the concert and a few nights later at Soho House again with Sia and some other friends. No Riley again.

The ‘this is true’ was in reference to all the other stories of his hookups disappearing and this one coming back for round two. As I have said a bunch this thread, I need more evidence before I’d buy this story, but it does make me wonder why Us would put this out there after Riley and her publicist have denied it. I haven’t seen Sia’s or Sarah Gadon’s teams outright denying the hookup rumors, so why wouldn’t Us go with one of those ladies if their story is a complete fabrication? Us is surely aware that Riley denied getting together with Rob, so why would they push a story that’s totally DOA and tarnish their credibility? Maybe it’s a slow news week, or maybe they’re onto something…who knows?

Mimi, it could all boil down to Riley trying to drum up more press (seriously, she got a ton the last time the rumors were making the rounds). Or it’s possible that Us got a bad tip from someone who is usually reliable and wanted to be the first to report it after all the denials. Obviously, this is all just speculation on my part, I don’t know better than anybody else here. I just find it so odd that they’d push this story after stern denials unless they had a good reason. It certainly doesn’t make Us look good if this is a no-go, so I don’t understand their motivation with this one.
Kstew was at Joan Jett’s concert with Riley and some of her other friends last night. It’s safe to assume that this is a false rumor again.

Disagree. I don’t think his team would want him connected to anyone who is close with Kristen. I actually think this last denial came from his rep, not Riley’s. There was a harshness to it, stressing “they’re not even in contact” that to me was more about shutting down the Kristen connection than the Riley rumor.
Robsten shippers started this whole rumor because Rob was seen with a redhaired girl and they so desperately wanted to find a way that it had to be innocent, so…bingo, it MUST be one of Kristen’s BFF’s! But they didn’t expect the media to take it and run with it in this way.
Frankly, I could see Riley’s team pushing the story so when it finally comes out that she’s back together with Pettyfer, it’ll get more attention for the two of them. “Riley chooses Alex over RPattz!”
People care too much who he’s dating. We don’t ask the same of Kristen. If his real fans backed off this story that the media is begging you to keep shamelessly interested in – they could write more about his career news and less about his dating news. Give it a rest. Until we see him properly out on a routine basis with a regular chick I say its all useless conjecture that’s unsubstantiated rumor. His career is headed in right direction, if only his fans would follow his lead of what’s important.

I dunno, I’ve seen people of all shades looking great with red hair. I color mine red but I’m very pale and have freckles so people assume it’s genuine, but I’ve seen tanner folk looking pretty good with the right shade of red. I don’t think this is Riley’s real hair color.
Mostly, to look good with red hair, never wear red or pink makeup or clothes because it clashes like the devil and looks cheap. But other than that, try it, maybe put in some blonde highlights to make it look shiny, get some good color preserving shampoo and conditioner and it might work. And if it doesn’t, just add brown on top of it.

But none of those couples you listed denied being involved when asked. They just didn’t address the accusations at all. Riley denied the rumors herself and had a spokesperson deny them. One of her close friends she shares with Kristen even denied it on his instagram. Plus her actions back up her denials. She is continuing to spend time hanging out with Kristen in public. She’s been friends with Kristen since 2010 when they filmed The Runaways together and their friendship is as strong as ever. Plus, I doubt Robert would go after one of Kristen’s close friends immediately after their break up. That’s a really crappy thing to do and I just can’t see Robert stooping so low.

A look-alike gets papped with Rob and she gets tons of press to the point that she just lets it go on for days until she finally denies it.

The only reason this rumor started was because rob was seen in a car with a female with red hair and somebody assumed it was riley keogh because riley happens to have red hair. Riley has since denied it was her in the car and the subsequent dating rumors. Nobody seems to be mentioning the fact that Kristen and Riley still very much hang out and were just together with friends at Joan Jett’s concert. Now use your brains and think logically as to why Kristen and Riley would still be hanging out if this was true. Not to mention the fact there is no evidence to this ridiculous rumor.
