I called this last month. There were stories from the set of Camp X-Ray about Lane Garrison and Kristen Stewart getting friendly, and now a gossip outlet claims that they are hooking up and that he’s basically living with her right now. Kristen is the star of the film, playing a young soldier who is assigned a position as a guard in Gitmo. I’m assuming Lane plays another guard. And now they are lovers. Allegedly.
While the rumour mill is currently set on Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson getting back together – we can exclusively reveal that she’s actually getting even closer to her rumoured romance, Lane Garrison. After meeting on the set of Camp X-Ray, Kristen and Lane – who is ten years her senior – sparked up a super close friendship, igniting rumours that the pair could be secretly dating. And now the duo have taken things to the next level, with Lane, 33, moving in with Kristen, 23, during movie reshoots.
A source exclusively told omg!: “Kristen was enjoying Lane’s company and he was spending a lot of time with her at her home. He doesn’t live in LA so he moved out of his hotel when they became close and moved into the guest wing of her house in Los Feliz.”
And while Kristen is happy to have formed a close bond with Lane, her family are worried by his dark past. Lane – whose character in the Guantanamo Bay film forces himself on Kristen’s character as her superior officer – spent three years in prison for vehicular manslaughter in 2007 after a drink-driving incident left a 17-year-old boy dead.
He was then arrested for misdemeanor battery in April 2012 after being accused of slapping girlfriend and Playboy Playmate, Ashley Mattingly, across the face.
Omg!’s source said: “Kristen’s big brother, Cameron, has told her he’s concerned about the new relationship, especially since his recent arrest after his jail term. He’s a much darker person than Rob and still goes to mandatory AA meetings every week following his battery arrest. But Kristen is trying to pull her life together and she’s been leaning on Lane since they started filming together. She understands his violent past but trusts that he’s changed and is really enjoying getting to know him.”
One side of me says that Lane has done his time and he deserves a second chance. The other side says that “intensity” and “darkness” is more appealing from a distance, or even on screen, and in real life that crap can turn dangerous in a second. I think Lane has issues and yes, to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he’s worked on those issues and he’s a better person these days. But his past behavior does seem to indicate that he has a hair trigger temper and issues with the law. Kristen doesn’t deserve that. But I suspect that if this is true, she thinks he’s a “bad boy” and that his intensity is interesting and “deep” rather than dangerous.

How could someone as tiny as Stewart be a guard at Gitmo? Wouldn’t there be some sort of height and weight requirements for that kind of posting?
I was stationed in Gitmo when I was in the Navy, and I can safely say the military just needs bodies to serve the purpose. They do not care about size or sex. They figure if you are in the military you should be “mission ready” at all times. So a short petite person is treated equally to a tall muscular person, but we all kind of have each other’s back in that regards.

I don´t think that she let´s him stay at her house. Yeah, she seems like the girl who falls for her costars but I think she is smarter than starting a relationship at this point and with him.
Sometimes I wonder about the source material at this site. A lot comes from Star, The national Enquirer or Life&Style – not really reliable sources but still it´s taken at face value..

I have no doubt that kristen and Lane are cool and friendly. Kristen, despite her image, is really nice and personable with the people she works with. I’m sure if a “source” for the other actors came forward they’d say the same thing.
I do not care for her, but I cannot believe this. She’s going to be “linked” with anyone she comes in contact with because of her history. Her first BF Michael O. was a good guy. Rob was good guy. She made a huge mistake with Rupert and got burned badly. I cannot see her doing this. Nope.

Camp X ray wrapped a couple weeks ago. Stewart is already in Germany filming her next movie – there are pics in one of the papers of her on set there yesterday.
I believe in second chances too, however, if he is still assaulting people after his arrest, he certainly doesn’t seem reformed now, does he? Everyone makes mistakes and I am admitting to drinking and driving in the past, but haven’t in years and will never do it again. I could not live with myself if I hurt someone else while doing it and if I had, I would be volunteering, doing anything to let the public know that I had changed. Not slapping around my girlfriend or anyone else for that matter.

Let me know when Kristen is seen partying with criminals like Rob. He needs a new group of friends, IMO. His actions after the cheating scandal were flawless, I don’t know what he is thinking this go around. I fear he might be depressed and lost judging by his action and interviews. I don’t agree with most of what Olivia says, but if you are going to call someone out you should call out the people who are saying “perfect match” with a woman beating man. It’s beyond disgusting, as Jenn said, to say that about an woman with a known abuser. That’s not what she is saying at all. We are all saying that making light of domestic abuse by claiming that a woman beater (Lane Garrison) would be perfect match with a woman is incredibly wrong. Domestic abuse isn’t funny or a light matter. I know this is a gossip board, but that’s too far. Jenn is right in that it is a disgusting thing to say. Olivia is saying anyone who is seriously into twilight or a twi-hard would probably have a skewed sense of domestic abuse. I’ve laid off posting on these threads because the stan wars get irritating, but I had some twi-hard person on here argue with me once that shipping Sulky with Chris Brown was “funny.” In reality, that’s just plain sick and twisted.
