We’ve heard that Lamar Odama has studiously been avoiding his wife Khloe Kardashian for some time, that he’s ignored her messages, and that he’s gone missing. Well Lamar emerged in LA, and was photographed out with a male friend on Monday. The NY Daily News has those photos, along with the story that Lamar stopped by a “convenience store” and a sushi restaurant. He didn’t eat at the restaurant, although he did buy some fruit at the store and was said to be friendly and talkative.
The paparazzi asked Lamar if he had spoken to Khloe, and he answered “of course that’s my wife.” He also said “no” when asked if he had a drug problem. TMZ has some evidence to the contrary. They claim that Lamar went to a pharmacy yesterday and bought some steel wool cleaning pads, the Chore Boy brand. Apparently these are used to smoke crack, which is rumored to be Lamar’s drug of choice.
There’s also news about Khloe and Lamar’s relationship on E!, aka The Karadshian Network. If Khloe didn’t give E! these quotes, you can bet her mom did. (And we know that Kris is pushing Khloe to divorce Lamar, she allegedly went to a divorce lawyer on Khloe’s behalf.) E! reports that Khloe and Lamar’s “divorce is imminent,” since Lamar hasn’t yet sought help for his drug addiction and that was one of Khloe’s demands.
“Khloé gave Lamar an ultimatum: if he didn’t get help, she’d end the marriage,” the insider explained. “So far, he’s ignoring her. The situation can still turn around, but at this point, divorce seems imminent.”
As for reports that Khloé’s family is urging her to dump the NBA star in the wake of the scandal, the insider says it’s not true.
“Her family is being as supportive as possible,” says the insider. “They don’t want to argue with her or make her even more upset. They know she’s already heartbroken. They don’t want to make things harder on her.
“At the end of the day, whatever she decides to do, they’ll go along with it.”
Despite all that she’s going through, Khloe is taking pains to keep up appearances. She’s been tweeting selfies, workout pics and promotional photos, and recently posted this quote to Instagram. “Sometimes you just gotta be your own hero and save your own little heart. Because sometimes, the people you can’t imagine living without, can actually live without you.” It sounds like Khloe knows what to do. Her husband has been avoiding her and is probably on a drug bender.
I almost forgot a recent story in Radar, which claimed that the private detectives Khloe hired to tail Lamar found evidence that he had five different mistresses. We’ve already heard from two who came out publicly, both of whom claimed that Khloe had them followed. It’s not surprising to hear that there were more. Apparently there’s an infidelity clause in their prenup, and Khloe now has plenty of evidence that Lamar breached it. “Khloe has not only photographic proof that Lamar cheated on her with at least five different women, but has copies of text messages between Lamar and the other women.” It just makes me wonder why she thought she could work it out with Lamar up until this drug crisis. Although that could be media spin to try and spare Khloe’s feelings.

There was a blind item on Just Say Jenn that people thought referred to Khloe. The woman was playing the part of a devoted wife, but she got coke to lose weight from someone she was “banging on the side,” and then her husband started using and lost a LOT of weight. Apparently Lamar has lost like 35 pounds – those NBA muscles are gone. If it’s really Khloe, she’s a bad egg.
Sympathies? Really? These people are all playing a role, I can’t believe people are buying it. They’re there for entertainment, scripted and sorry, I don’t find Khloe to be attractive at all.

I have felt that the tmz coverage of this is extremely suspicious. They have from the beginning said “he has a crack problem”..”he is deep into crack”. They would even give Lohan the token “allegedly”. It’s just weird that they don’t use the disclaimer in this instance, just to cover their asses. It makes me think it’s a story line for sure.
Sorry I just read the tmz article about the scouring pads. I just want to reiterate that no where are they saying alleged about anything, and a household cleaning product is not convincing evidence. Why is tmz so sure they won’t get sued for these things, so confident in making these accusations?

I used to think Khloe was okay too, until she started posting endless selfies of herself on Twitter and Instagram during this “marriage crisis” of hers. Plus airing her and Lamar’s marriage problems to the media, which effectively ruined his career (not that I really care, he’s a jerk).

@ Denise: a homemade crack pipe is a simple glass tube. Put crack in one end & heat, put mouth on other end and inhale the vapor. Problem: if you tip the pipe down the crack is going to fall out and if you tip it upwards, the crack is going to fall into your mouth. Dumb-ass druggie solution: a little bit of a scouring pad is wedged up into the pipe. The crack rests on the pad. Smoke can get through, but the crack won’t fall into your mouth.
The “solution” is dumb-ass bad because inhaling bits of burning scouring pad is not good for you. Harm minimisation kits contain little mesh screens that do the same job without breaking down so there’s less risk of mouth/lung burns.
(Note, in case it wasn’t obvious: I do think smoking crack is dumb-ass in and of itself … it’s just that inhaling Brillo makes it even more stupidly dangerous.)
I like Khloe HOWEVER if I was married to or dating Kardashian I would be on crack, herion, meth, weed, oxycodone, alcohol…basically anything to escape the madness of their attention sloring ways. In all seriousness, Khloe needs to move on with her life. The fact is that her marriage ended at least a year, lots of drugs and several mistresses ago.
As sweet as they seemed together, this marriage was doomed from the start.
What else was Lamar going to say to the camera guy when asked if he was on drugs? If these drug allegations were not true, Lamar would have said so along time ago. Of course the cheating was true and so is the substance abuse. Lamar has ruined himself and probably will not play in the NBA again. If he wasn’t married to a Kardashian, no one would care about what is going on with him.

Wouldn’t it be more prudent to actually get to know the person you intend to spend years with as opposed to rushing into a serious commitment with someone you know very little about? Common sense may not be as romantic but a lasting loving relationship is worth investing time in.

You can safely assume that this marriage is done. I doubt there is any way for it to survive give the infidelities and now allegations of drug use. Sad thing is that Khloe will survive but Lamar will most likely spiral downward especially since his basketball career is done. His only hope will be to play overseas if he can. I hope he is not abusing crack..it is one of the most addictive substances next to heroin and meth. I don’t know why people can’t say no to these three substances….nothing good ever comes from using.
