The National Enquirer [via Radar Online] is set to report that Lindsey Vonn was seen making out with a random guy backstage at a Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake concert about a month ago. The way the story goes, Lindsey didn’t look like she went to the show with the guy, she just ran into him backstage. Lindsey and the guy seemed to already be well acquainted, and they were soon making out and playing grab ass in front of everyone. The Enquirer gets a lot of Tiger scoops so I believe this. I question whether Lindsey is still with Tiger, whether their entire relationship was a publicity scheme, or whether they have an “arrangement”. More on that in a moment.
Backstage at a Justin Timberlake and Jay Z concert in Miami on Aug. 16, Lindsey, 28, was seen engaging in a very public and very hot make out session with an older hunk from the “SexyBack” singer’s tour, it’s reported!
“After the concert was over, Lindsey and a group of female friends, carrying drinks, made their way backstage, and Lindsey spotted a guy she very obviously knew well,” a source told the ENQUIRER.
“She threw herself into his arms and they started on a long session of deep kissing that went on for several minutes. He was a tall, good-looking man, in his mid-40s, with graying temples. They were really going at it. They were both holding drinks, and Lindsey’s free hand was around his neck, drawing him closer, while his hand was gripping her rear end.”
Lindsey, who was in Miami for a “LVTakesMiami” promotion and photo session for one of her sponsors, Red Bull, later tweeted: “Wow that was amazing! Best concert I’ve ever been to!”
“Lindsey’s not a nun,” a source told the ENQUIRER. “She’s a very physical, very attractive young woman with a very strong athlete’s ego. She wants her own fame – not his. Now it looks like she’s checking out the playing field.” The source adds there’s a good chance Lindsey’s secret smooch will be the kiss of death for her and Tiger’s romance.

Lindsey’s rep tells Gossip Cop that “There is not an ounce of truth in this clearly made-up story.” The guy didn’t add anything about Lindsey still being with Tiger, though, and given the way those two rolled out their relationship with a photo spread I would expect a much more detailed denial. My theory is that Tiger broke it off with Lindsey when she started talking about him like they were married. Remember that? Lindsey did a lot of photo ops with Tiger’s kids, and she talked about him in almost every interview. I think it was when she compared herself to his wife that she overstepped. She said “We talk golf after his golf rounds, but mostly I listen. We really are normal in that way. Lots of people go home and talk to their wife or husband about their job. That’s what we do.”
My theory is that Tiger freaked out, put his foot down and called it off. An alternate theory is that Tiger gets his, Lindsay gets hers and they come together when it’s convenient. Given the way Lindsey was talking up her relationship with Tiger, I think it was much more serious (in her mind). She was too convincing for it to have been a PR relationship either, but I could be wrong. They certainly milked it for all it was worth.

Whatever happened, I think it was serious in his mind, too. He’s very protective of the kids and I don’t think he’d be using them in a publicity stunt and I don’t think that Elin, who has primary custody, would put up with it. I’m not unaware of his failings as a parent, but I doubt he’d bring them into this relationship if it weren’t pretty serious.
That being said, sometimes things just don’t work out, famous or not. Now that she’s back to skiing, hanging around playing Mrs. Tiger may not be what she thought it would be. Or maybe she pushed too hard and he balked. They were pretty boring, anyway.
