I saw that one in Houston, and saw the Big Tent concert in NYC back in may. I hate to say this, but "The Gospel" is by far and away the better show. Better songs, more imagination. BUT, I'm a TF fan, so I'd see them both again anyway. There’s another Tammy Faye musical out there making the rounds in the country called ‘The Gospel According to Tammy Faye”.

I hate to say this, but “The Gospel” is by far and away the better show. Better songs, more imagination.

The documentary, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, is really good. I wish more mainstream Christians were as open-minded as her; she really did do a lot to open discussions about contraversial topics in the Christian community. Plus, she has some lovely bling (well....not all of it is lovely). I'd watch this play if it was cheap and in my area, for shits and giggles alone. Honestly, I like this woman.
