i don’t agree with all of you. I really think it’s a pity he’s going in jail on the show.
First, his character is way more complex, human and intesting than those of Rhys and Annabel (seriously apart from the fact that one is gay and the other one is cute, what can possibly interest you in their characters?). Second, if he’s going to jail, it’s mean that Holly has won and that is really bad: how can you believe for one second a situation where a woman who has never worked but has been the secret lover of a successful businessman for 40 years suddenly inherite 10 millions dollars and all she decides to do is to take over the family business of her former lover? What is it? Santa Barbara all over again? Pffff…

lola, I think it’s more an issue of if the atmosphere on the set is so bad that Balty may not want to return or not, not that he had an affair.

Truth is that his character has become dead weight, which is unfortunate when the main characters are such close-knit family members. But even on the behind-the-scenes stuff, it always seemed like Getty was more like a third wheel to the fun that is Matthew Rhys and Dave Annabel. (Except back then, I used to feel sad for him.)

Oh please. if actors were fired for having affairs we’d have no tv, movies, or plays.

He was probably either a PITA or his character had no where left to go. or both. but chances are high poking sienna miller was not why he got fired.

I love this show, but last night watching it I really yearned for them to stop drinking to excess and yelling at each other in public.
I know that’s a main storyline or the main storyline rather but they seemed to have downgraded editors and the writers are being lazy!

I think keeping the wife with the kid on would make sense. One more situation for Nora to get involved in. Plus, it seems a bit harsh for the family to drop the SIL and kid because the son is in jail. I guess she could move home like she did before, but you’d think there would be some attempt to maintain contact.

Yeah, poor Sarah Jane Morris, she has potential, now even her secondary background role will start to diminish. although, tommy going to jail…juicy!

But…perhaps one less walker will mean that ABC will let a minority get on the show.

Kaiser: Yeah he looks really p’d-off in the first one but the kid with the bin following him in the second one is kinda funny. I wonder, if anyone ever recognizes themselves in the background of a pap photo..
