Here are some of the entertainment correspondents at the Emmy Awards, starting with Giuliana Rancic in Mikael D. It’s the Emmy Awards, I know it calls for some formal gowns, but this is too much for me. Maybe without the sparkly embroidered pattern or the tight mermaid fit this dress might work. Some of you may love this though. It could be that I’m just not fond of Giuliana. Plus her makeup is overdone and she’s wearing some bizarre colored contacts. Her eyes look so weird to me here.
In contrast Extra’s Maria Menounos got it right in navy Zac Posen. This dress fits her like a dream and I love the contemporary lines around the bodice. Her makeup is too much, though, especially her lips and eyes. Like Giuliana she’s also wearing bizarre colored contact lenses.
Nancy O’Dell of Entertainment Tonight was in green and black leather Carmen Marc Valvo. I honestly can’t decide whether or not I like this dress. It’s not bad, it’s just not great.
E!’s Kelly Osbourne had on a red full length Jenny Packham gown with cap sleeves and sequin detail. This looks like something Christina Hendricks would wear, doesn’t it? It’s the way the neckline emphasizes her cleavage. Kelly needs to ditch the lilac hair, it’s distracting from what she’s trying to achieve here.
Shaun Robinson of Access Hollywood was in black cutout Nicole Miller. It fits her like a dream, but like Kelly Osbourne, her hair is throwing me off.

My sister recently went through some medical stuff and she lost so much weight she looked (still does, actually) almost alarmingly anorexic. She is not anorexic, though, and is trying to gain weight back, but it’s tough with the meds she’s on. My point is that there are many things other than anorexia that can cause severe weight loss. Also, it shows how little you know about anorexia if your solution/advice is simply “eat.”
I’m not saying she isn’t anorexic, just that there are more causes for weight loss than that and that saying “eat” has NEVER cured an anorexic, if she is anorexic.
themummy: This isn’t a sudden weight loss, she has been like this for a long time. It’s almost certain by the way she talks about weight that being skeletal is intentional. She broke down in tears when her fertility doctor told her to gain 5 – 10 pounds and she refused to take his advice. And have you ever read her dieting/nutrition advice? It’s screams eating disorder.

Does anyone else think kelly osborne is not natural slimmed down? How are her arms so damn chunky while her body is so thin? Can you even GET lipo on your arms and face? *SMH* If she had been exercising like she says and lost all that weight that way, then her arms too would have slimmed some, but they look chunky, not the least bit slimmed down.
Actually you can, for both arms *and* face. IIRC i read somewhere once that Kenny Rogers got lipo on his chipmunk cheeks (I think it was his first cosmetic surgery). Oh boy, I’ really dating myself here lol.

Worse is that it was styled horribly. The Greek Goddess dress was very flattering, but a different, more harmonious hair color would have made the look perfect.

I think I read that Kelly said that the lilac hair is written into her E! contract. She is mandated to keep it that color for Fashion Police.

Nike used to make them and they were dark brown with a reddish tinge. Another company makes them now in a lot of colors.
I loved Guiluana’s gown on her. Maria’s was fantastic. Nancy, no. Shaun’s hair was a no. Kelly’s dress was pretty on her.

I so agree. Those big arm rats are gross and take away from the either wise elegant look. Lena Dunham has the same problem. I also think tats on a soft arm only emphasis the roundness. I also don’t understand why anyone would want to look dirty or like they have something wrong with them. I prefer a clean body, though with a few exceptions some people can look hot with tattoos.
I agree and she has them on the inside of her forearms, too. She said one day that she wants to remove them and plans too. That was a year ago and she never did. They always ruin any elegant look she’s going for.

if you looked at a lot of the women last night they weren’t scary skinny. Some where yes but a lot were not some were actually normal size. A lot looked healthy I only remember because it shocked me.

Fillers or no fillers, Nancy looks fantastic and I can’t believe she’s actually older than me. Whatever she’s had done was done well – I think – and she looks better than certain other celebs in their 40’s who prefer to go the way of the obvious (i.e. major work, or heavy, heavy make up and bright red lipstick – eeeew.)

Rancic looked more like ET than usual with that stick body and bobble head. She’s all bones and needs to eat anything. She looks awful. But that didn’t annoy me as much as her posing the whole time she was supposed to be interviewing. She wasn’t interested in talking to anyone she was too busy posing and going look at me!

I like what Maria Menounos is wearing and I like what Nancy O’dell is wearing. I would like Kelly’s outfit too, if it weren’t for the weird dark plaid-looking things by the shoulders.
She needs to put on some weight. Strapless gowns are not what she should be wearing. The bones sticking out are not becoming at all, and her underarm area looks sunken in. A good ten pounds would make her look so much healthier. For someone who critiques people on their fashion choices on a weekly basis, she needs to look at herself in a mirror. But having known someone who had an eating disorder, I know she wouldn’t see what we see.
Her physical condition is very concerning. I have known folks that actually were that thin due to their metabolism, and they always told me they chose clothes that would add bulk to avoid this look. I agree- I don’t think she sees herself as the world sees her.
