^This is a photo of Angelina Jolie from 2004. It was the first thing that came up on one of our photo agencies and I just had a moment of falling in love with Angie all over again when I saw the old pics. I still think Angelina is extraordinarily beautiful, of course, but g—damn if the 2003-05 period wasn’t her most mind-blowingly gorgeous stage. So just for the hell of it, all of the photos in this post are from Angelina’s promotional tour for Alexander (late 2004/early 2005).
I have a real reason to discuss Angelina though! Angelina and Brad finally reunited last weekend after spending several weeks (or maybe a month) apart. Brad was in Telluride and Toronto for the film festivals, to promote 12 Years a Slave, then he was in England working on Fury. During that same time, Angelina and the kids were in Australia while Angelina scouted locations for Unbroken. But they finally reunited… in Hong Kong! Angelina brought Knox and Vivienne to spend time with Daddy. But it was something of a romantic getaway, a short respite from their busy schedules until, I’m hoping, Brad finished up with Fury soon enough. So hopefully Angelina got some alone-time with Brad (“Big Daddy”) too.
We got a tip from an Angeloonie about a shopping excursion Brad and Angelina took while in Hong Kong too. Apparently, they went to a fancy jewelry store and Brad dropped about $300,000 on a diamond necklace for Angelina plus three watches. I don’t know if the watches were presents Brad was giving to himself, or if Angelina gets a watch and a diamond necklace or what. I want to see the necklace though. She is just so stunning. Gorgeous as ever now, but I agree that she was mind-blowingly beautiful back then. She seemed to have more zest and life in her face when she was younger. Maybe it’s because she has a lot more on her plate now, but she doesn’t have that glint she used to have.
Anyway, most definitely the most beautiful woman ever IMO.

Exactly. Not to pick on Brandi, but just to use her as an example because there’s a post of her today. But probably if we saw Brandi in person, we’d think she was a REALLY pretty woman, but click on the Angelina post and you’re like “Holy SHIT, now THAT is real beauty.” Even Nat Portman, who is truly beautiful IMO, looks less gorgeous against Jolie.

I’m all for acknowledging people’s unique beauty, as I can find the beauty in almost anyone. Whether it be the shape of an eye, the curl of a lash, what have you, but you guys really need some type of therapy. I’m assuming you are grown women and you’re on here talking about how beautiful she is and down trodden and ugly you are. “I’ll never be 1/50th as beautiful.” Jesus, ladies, really???? You don’t know what this woman really looks like, what she’s had done, what type of person she really is behind closed doors, etc…
Grow up. Idolizing another human being is beyond creepy. Commend her charity work, and UN dedication, ok…but the level of obsession, as if she is ‘other worldly’ is beyond disturbing. What I like about her acting, is that for me, even in a substandard movie, she always stands out. Like Alexander. That movie was so boring to me–I watched it because I LOVED her in the movie. I still watch her scenes on youtube. She was the best part of Alexander. I wish the whole movie had been her–she was definitely more interesting.
I imagine given the horrors this woman has witnessed around the world in her role with the UN, it has to take a toll on her zest for life. I admire her.

Some of that stuff you just lose as you age. Angie lost weight after her Mom died and just never regained it all back. Most of it came from her face. I, however, do not see any difference in her lower body (from the neck down) at all.
I agree, Angie was stunning beautiful in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” which didn’t gain her any favors (and probably helped fuel the hate) with Jen’s ‘she’s a sweet, innocent, girl-next-door’ fans when the shite hit the fan over Brad.
I think her ‘glow’ in 2004 early 2005 came from being a Mom to Maddox. 🙂

@ Bird – You do realize that Hackers came out in 1995, when she was only 20 years old, right? At 19/20 you can still have remnants of baby fat, and then as you get into your early 20’s it goes away and your face gets thinner. The only surgeons knife she’s been under was when she had her children via c-section.

Re: the security video… I was just about to say this! That is utter horse sh-t that a store would do that. Especially a high end place where the patrons drop obscene amount of money. I admit that celebrities give up a large part of their privacy in return for the riches and perks of a celebrity lifestyle, but these two play the game. They cooperate with the paps and play ball when needed. I would be royally pissed at that store if I were them and would return the merchandise.

Thank you so much for throwing these pictures in. Work is already painful this morning, and this made everything better. I was in the peak of my Angelina fixation in the 2003-05 era, the last half of high school for me. I actually met her in 2003 in Central Park (with Maddox and Holly in tow, and not a paparazzo in sight), and I couldn’t stop shaking all day… she was that phenomenally beautiful in person. And skinny. Her legs were rail-thin even then. I digress…
Anyway, if this is true (and I don’t doubt your tipster!), maybe we’ll see it on their next red carpet.
I think the best Angie ever looked was in the early stages with Billy Bob. The pictures where she’s at some premiere with him in just a T-shirt and leather pants are the best she ever looked im o. She had a little weight on her, she hadn’t done anything to her face yet, she’s wearing barely any make-up and her hairs dark and barely styled…I don’t know, back then she just seemed so fresh and vibrant and naturally beautiful. She’s still an obscenely beautiful woman obviously but after that she seemed to lose a little something. She started wearing a lot more make-up, she had a little work done, and probably the biggest factor; she lost a significant amount of weight. These days her features are much harsher. It’s not about her aging, because when I look at pictures of Angie’s mum in her 40’s and 50’s she always looked so much like Angie did in her early 20’s.
You know her MOM looked fuller because of her cancer treatments. If you look at her mother when she was younger and just before she passed she was a naturally thin woman
I wasn’t talking about Marcheline’s weight, though she was never quite as thin as Angie has been for the past decade, at least not before her illness really took a hold of her. She just always had a sparkle and a softness to her face (again, not talking about weight), that I haven’t seen in Angie since the early days of her fame.

Angie was dropped dead gorgeous after she adopted Maddox and got rid of him.
But as Lisa said, people who’ve met her in person always say she’s stunning and photos don’t do her justice. She is in her twenties (late) in those pics. Women lose baby fat. the woman is stunning then and now. She just has a face that is Beautiful. I always listen to the people that have met her in person. ALL say that she looks better than the pictures (cray). But I have never heard anyone that has seen her in person say she looks less than expected.
That 3rd picture is…..amazing. Stunning. I could (and have) stare at that specific picture for hours.

She has amazing skin. She doesn’t need too much makeup. That’s why for me she’s a natural beauty and very photogenic. She looks amazing in thousands of photos especially the everyday paparazzi ones with minimal makeup. I can’t think of another celebrity that makes me gasp when I see everyday photos of them.

Looking at her pictures when she was young, she’s always looked the same–she was always going to be beautiful. True, true. I have never been attracted to Brad (although I do think he is good looking), but I do love the way their relationship is. They’re a team. And I bet a good reason their relationship has been strong for all these years is because they put their relationship and family over work.
No matter how beautiful Angelina is, she wouldn’t be able to keep a guy who she treats like shit. And vice versa. I’m not saying they’re perfect, and I’m sure they’ve both snapped at each other. But it just seems like they both took the mistakes of their previous relationships and learned from them. I love that–although I’d pay to hear an argument from them.
But yeah, I always wished Angelina was a little more into jewelry, because we know that Brad would’ve gone all Richard Burton on her. I checked Elizabeth Taylor’s book out-the one about her jewelry-last year….my God! I was insanely jealous. It was a fifty page book, and they hadn’t even shown 1/3 of what she had.
But who knows, one day my gravy might attract a dude who can/will buy me some diamonds……

I am disappointed that they have not made the remake of Cleopatra movie yet. What are they waiting for? While we still have this beautiful woman. We may not have this kind of beauty again for a long, long time.
I think that was a tabloid rumor. I very much doubt they are going to do a remake of that film now.
Before Lindsay Lohan messed up her face, and her whole life she was more beautiful than Angelina, every few years in Hollywood a stunning beauty comes along, Liz Taylor, Halle, Angie, after Angie it was Lohans chance but she blew it.
Lol. Lindsay was very beautiful but she never came close to Angelina’s beauty. Few to none have.
They spent two weeks apart not 6 or more Angie and the kids move to Sydney two weeks ago and before that Brad, Angie and the kids where in LA.

Ahhh, she was so freaking gorgeous then. Her face was a lot fuller, and that sun-kissed tan really gave her a healthy glow. She’s still a beautiful woman, and faces tend to thin out as we age (I mean, I hope so right? Because my cheeks could use a smidge of thinning out…), but she would look so much better with a little more fullness.
Also, since these pictures were posted it made me wonder about old gossip… were Angie and Colin Farrell ever a thing?
She’s the most beautiful woman in the world, period. And not shallow at all, but… something doesn’t feel right about her, I don’t know what. I don’t believe her charity work is genuine, none of what she does for people in need. Hope I’m wrong.
The thing is– even if that were so, what does it matter? The end result stays the same: she’s helping people and highlighting important causes.
How can you say that she’s not shallow, but then you say her charity work isn’t genuine?
I really can’t understand how anyone can say that the work she does isn’t genuine. I mean you can dislike her personally all you want, but what she does shouldn’t ever be thought of as not genuine. If you’ve ever seen an interview with her talking about her work, she almost always cries. Always.
And she’s been doing this work for YEARS. Since 2001/2….so no, it wasn’t a last ditch effort to “save” her image. Most people who do charity to look good don’t do it for this long…..
What makes you think she isn’t genuine?
Man, I said it’s something I just can’t put my fingers on, so I can’t explain in a decent way. There are many, many reasons why people do things, and IF (possibility, not fact) she’s not real with that, it doesn’t mean it’s necessarily for image or phonyness. It’s just a feeling I have, and I’d be glad to discuss it with her in person, with all the respect I have for her or any human being.
She has been working for the UN for 12 years now. Why would you think her interest is not genuine if she’s stuck with it all this time? It’s obviously something that means a great deal to her.
I think the reason she looked more beautiful back then was because she had a bit more fat on her body. Now, she is just way too skinny.
I’m just commenting since so many here calling her the most beautiful woman ever. I’m a guy and she does zero for me. I think girls just tend to like the haughty glamorous look in other girls. I remember ages ago a girl telling me Christy Turlington was her role model, while for me girls with beautiful expressive facial character and features are 100x sexier. So Rachel McAdams, Kate Beckinsale, even Zooey Deschanel I consider more attractive than Angie. For glam look Megan Fox is just hotter than her as well.
That’s just my opinion on why I’m not attracted to her at all, her face is just more frozen, less expressive than beautiful girls, although she looks more expressive than usual in top pic.

So strange and frustrating how beautiful people are treated like saints–its completey assumed that they automatically have a flawless character and always do the right thing because they’re attractive. Can you not see how stupid that is?

I mean if anyone calls Angie stunning or gorgeous or whatever here comes the lectures going on and on about idolizing celebrities.
I see people calling lots of other celebs these adjectives.. but I don’t see these same posters running to those thread and going on and on about how people are idolizing these women an how wrong it is to say these things about them. But if you say anything positive about Angie or Brad you are some crazy fan or Loon. Yet I can see RDJ or Fassbender or Cumberbatch or anyone being fawned over and nothing. Charlize can be called gorgeous or stunning or OMG she is the most whatever and nothing. But drop that about Angie or Brad and we get the moral lecture of how we are pathetic and have not life.
I’m a fan big time. And I read and hear the reactions people have when they meet her or Brad, and it is a different thing altogether.

Oh yeah, Aniston fans prove this. They think shes so beautiful and therefore a good person. I had Anistonloon tell me once (when I told them Aniston is a homewrecker and stole Justin from Heidi) that “she wouldn’t do that, she is too beautiful and nice”. Ok, like, wtf??? O.o I just can’t with that.
I think she is absolutely stunningly beautiful beyond words. When I was younger and used to straighten my hair (I’m mixed black and white), people used to say that I looked like a black Angelina Jolie and I took that as one of the highest compliments I could ever receive because she is just stunning IMO. I think that her beauty stands alone, but coupled with her intelligence, generosity and the significant contributions that she has made towards women’s issues, and just plain humanitarian issues, it is impossible not to believe that she is an absolutely beautiful person inside and out.
I don’t think Brad and Angelina went shopping for jewelry. WHy go to Hong Kong for a necklace. I think they quietly visited an orphanage to find their next child.
