Here are some photos of Michael Fassbender at the 12 Years a Slave screening at the NY Film Festival two nights ago. God… he looks so good. I have to admit, I think Fassy is playing his Oscar campaign a lot better this year. He was sort of frazzled and all over the place in 2011-12, and he was new to the idea of Oscar campaigns and pacing out your campaign… he just seemed all over the place. Not now. Now he seems focused, quieter, more reticent. I suppose it helps that he’s not being asked about his dong in every interview.

If I can give him one piece of advice for the Oscar campaign… I think he should continue to grow his hair out as much as he can. And I think he should definitely keep the ginger beard in any form. It’s like what Anne Hathaway did for Les Miserables – she didn’t get extensions because she wanted to remind the Oscar voters about her shaved head for ART. Michael needs the ginger beard to remind Oscar voters about the slave-owner Epps every time they see photos of Michael.

Also: I’m including photos of Lupita Nyong’o just because I really do think that she’s just Michael’s type and I wouldn’t mind seeing them together on more red carpets. I’ve already made my wish for them to couple up, but I’m not holding my breath for it.

Michael has a bunch of new and newish video interviews. In this interview (below), Fassy talks a lot about 12 Years, but at the end the woman asks him about his love of sound effects and Fassy does some additional sound effects and it’s just adorable. Plus, Michael just looks really, really hot here. Boy can wear the f—k out of a polo.

Here’s a clip of Fassy on The Late Show which aired last night. Letterman asks him a lot about fishing and Michael’s Irish accent really comes out when he starts talking about how he used to fish in Ireland.

Here’s Michael talking about his love for Steve McQueen. Fassy is wearing the f—k out of a black shawl-collar sweater in this one. I think he might have gotten a stylist?!
