Scarlett Johansson stars in new ads for Reebok, in which she promotes a line named after her that she helped design. The line is named “Scarlett ‘Hearts’ Rbk,” and is meant to be a “fashion-forward, athletic-inspired footwear and apparel signature collection.”

Even these sportive clothes won’t help her. I think she is miscast for that ad.

I would go gay for Scar Jo! I HEART Scarlett BIG TIME! But I can’t say I would buy those clothes or shoes- not liking them so much. The line is about as appealing as the Stella McCartney fitness line- BLAH.

I’m sorry - I am so perplexed as to what people see in her. I just do not think she is all that attrative and she is not the greatest actress either - I just don’t get it.

Next time choose someone who’s actually seen leaving a gym. Biel, Beckinsale, Alba, hell, even Diaz - so many OTHER choices.

Iva, I agree. Nothing compelling there. I’m not hating on her, I just can’t see what all the fuss is about. And I’ve never found her acting particularly compelling - she’s never been able to convince me that her character isn’t Scarlett, in a series of different outfits.

I see Scarlett, and I think “meh”. I just don’t see it… yeah, okay, she’s blonde, and has a nice mouth (good call by Kiwi - her mouth is always half open isn’t it!), but really… meh. Your standard starlet.

I don’t see what the fuss is about her either. She looks fine, but not fantastic. She stands like a little girl with her toes pointed in, yet wears an Ivana Trump old lady pulled-back hairdo all the time, which doesn’t even look good on her. Wierd.

Her appeal? Former child actress turns into bombshell. That’s actually all it is. Boobs, blonde, lips - and maybe the voice to distinguish her from all the other starlets who have the same.
I can’t even say she has great comic timing like I could about Alyssa Milano either. I’m sure she has talent but the roles she’s been taking lately are boxing her into a very small pigeonhole. Don’t most actresses want to be seen as versatile?
Somehow I don’t think doing a Reebok ad helped things on that score either. It’s not glam, or high fashion, and we’re not convinced she actually works out for any extended period so this promotion seems to be just that - a marketing ploy. And seriously, how many of Scarlet’s fans are inspired to buy shoes with this ad? Let alone those people who find her unexceptional.

Please! If Scarlett were to actually run, girl would have two black eyes! Maybe if they pictured her wearing a hold-them-babies-down sports bra, it would be more believable.

Scarlet is too ’sex kittenish’ to sell sports wear. She should step into ANS old shoes and sell Guess Jeans….
We might not get it about her but men LOVE her - my husband included. I think its a combo of the tits, lips and husky voice.

“I am more than a cover story”? Get over yourself, Scarlett. Those sneakers look cute but worthless as far as actually being able to use them for fitness.
